This is a update on my last review as I have gave this place a try again more than the bad experience that I had when I went when I had the inexperienced server. Luckily the last times all the servers know what they are doing and food comes out correctly and if it ever doesn't they try to correct it . I really like going there for there breakfast and brunch the foo and serve is amazing

I thought for sure I already a review but I see that I forgot but I have been serval times and it's always a hit or miss, sometimes it's good other times not so much. For example the last few times I have been there the food was cold. My waffles were hard as a rock. The eggs were suppose to be scrambled but more so omelette style. The best thing here to me are the breakfast potatoes everything else is mid (as the kids would say nowadays) lol but I come by here occasionally hoping it would get better but it's typically the same. After having a bad first experience, management reached out and created a great second experience for me that I came back again! I highly recommend their juices; I've tried morning meditation and their newest holiday one and love both. Their steak and eggs were on the salty side but still delicious. My friend enjoyed her waffle and I was addicted to the cinnamon chip pancake I ordered! They're on the thinner side but the flavor is sweet and spot on. Even when it says 30-40 min wait ends up being 10-15 min because I check in from home (I live 15 min away) This is FRESH food. A little more upscale but totally family friendly. Bloody Mary's are served with a bacon skewer, sweet and tasty, Bloody Mary has a little spicy taste which was not overpowering. Two separate occasions I did a call ahead for my family. I always do this as our group is larger and it I recognize having a heads up for the size helps the restaurant for planning purposes and also cuts down on our wait time. The first time I did the call ahead I provided my name and was told I did call ahead. I showed my confirmation text and the hostess walked away without saying a word. We found out she was pulling call ahead from the wrong day... the night before. While she was "investigating" we watched her seat smaller parties at tables that would have accommodated our group. Today I again called ahead and was told 5-10 minutes. I watched the host seat small parties at a large bar table that would have accommodated our group, seat groups at four tops, finally I asked the lady I checked in with and she told me she "didn't know what Harvey was doing." He wanted to split our group into separate booths. Families don't go to eat together to eat separately. We happen to be eating together because two of us are flying back home today. The management and organization of this restaurant is nothing short of a disaster. This chain happens to be one I visit often at home and NEVER experience these type of issues. This location needs to tighten up their processes and procedures or their time in Woodhaven will be shortlived.
