Been to this location several times now. Food and service have been good each time. The potatoes could use a bit less salt in my opinion but I prefer less salt in my food. I wish they had regular white sugar for the coffee at the table but all they have is alternative sweeteners.

We stopped in for brunch recently, all the staff were great. The food on the hand I felt like was a little lacking, mostly in how it's plated or served. Like why serve a Bloody Mary in a tiny wine glass. And then the way they put the ingredients in the omelette to serve it doesn't really make sense. Yeah it might look kinda cute but then you get some empty omelette spots. So the food was good but it didn't really blow me away specially for the price.

Still the same starts. Staff was friendly and the food was not bad. They still don't offer too many vegan options, but you can have few items customized, so they will be vegan. Had oatmeal and almond butter toast for breakfast.

I like coming here when I'm in the mood for a clean/healthyish but tasty breakfast. We enjoyed their egg breakfast sandwich and Market skillet. The Multigrain pancakes were just ok. The place was clean and service was fast on a weekday morning.

Food is amazing. Loved their sandwich as well as avocado toast. Tomato basil soup was nice too. Lemon ricotta pancake was tasty. Overall good taste. There is no prior reservation option and had to wait for 30 mins. Wait was worth, given taste of food.

I got an email with a fresh new menu item and looked good the Parmesan prosciutto. Besides looking good it tasted good. It was on a sourdough toast with scrambled eggs which were very fluffy, thin sliced prosciutto fresh arugula with lemon drizzle and garlic aioli with Parmesan cheese shredded on top. A very fresh tasting meal. I had a fresh fruit bowl with grapes, strawberries and pineapple. I also had the potatoes which were made with bacon and onion. Really good. I had the Morning Meditation to drink. A mix of orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet. Very refreshing drink. Shelby our server was very attentive and friendly. The dining area was clean. Only down point we had a screaming kid by us.

Oh how I love First Watch! I am visiting since relocating to the west coast and just had to pop in for a morning meditation and some million dollar bacon. The customer service is always amaze balls here and no matter how long it takes for me to return it's always the same! During the week it's not as busy which is a plus for sure. Food is always good and fresh.

I've been to first watch numerous times and every time, I enjoy it. We went here on a Sunday after church and of course for it being a brunch place, it was busy. They gave us a wait time of 30 minutes and they were correct about roughly a 30 minute wait. We got seated in an efficient time compared to what they said. The food was good, as it always is. I especially love how the food here is pretty much as close to we'll get to farm to table as we can in our area. The environment was a bit on the louder end, but it didn't stop us from having conversations with our party. We would come here again!

First Watch has been our go to for brunch. Their locations are consistent in terms of service and food. We love trying their rotating/seasonal specials. On their current summer menu, we tried the shishito brisket hash and blueberry lemon cornbread which were both jam packed with delicious flavor and made the perfect sweet and savory pairing! We also like their cold brew coffee.

They biscuit cut is a large portion so I usually go for a one biscuit with gravy and a poached egg on the top. Perfection! Parking situation update, seems they have an agreement to let people park in the Main Street Kitchen lot along the south side of their building. This opens up a lot of parking options since their actual lot is always full and a dead end so it's awkward to maneuver your exit if you don't find a spot. Also post office on a Sunday is also available. Or the city hall lot we've done on holidays or weekends. We've almost always gone as a pair and been able to get seating during the in between times of breakfast and lunch; some say brunch on weekdays or after the lunch rush around 1pm. During the summer the few tables outside have been empty so we snag those. Food is quick and coffee or orange juice are very good. This place is a gem and they do a great job with dine in and take out.

I ordered the Mediterranean skillet, lemon pancakes, and a side of biscuits and gravy. Yes, this was a heavy breakfast! The Mediterranean skillet had plenty of feta, which I LOVED but it was dry overall. There was no sauce to really bring everything together. I even got eggs over medium and the egg yolk did not add much creaminess. It was good, just not my favorite thing I've eaten. The lemon pancakes were absolutely unreal. Sooo fluffy and the cream cheese frosting was incredible. I would 100% recommend them. I also tried a side of biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was very thick, which was not my favorite, but the gravy itself was amazing, but it's the white super peppery kind, which I know is not everybody's favorite! Again, just kind of dry, even with the gravy. The service was good, and for a Saturday around 11 AM, the 20 minute wait was totally reasonable. I would definitely come back, just probably not for the skillet next time.

Alex Royal Grill is located in a strip mall, but don't let that deter you. Sometimes those are the best hidden gems. Service was a little on the slow side even though it wasn't very busy, but honestly, I may have noticed it more because I walked in very hungry. That said, my waitress was absolutely delightful--super friendly and attentive, and she made the wait much more pleasant. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage patties and eggs. The portion size was solid and definitely filled me up. The gravy was delicious, the eggs cooked perfectly over medium, and the sausage patties were flavorful. They were just a touch more cooked than I personally prefer--but I can't really judge, as I tend to do the exact same thing when I make sausage at home. Overall, this experience was easily a strong 4.5 out of 5, and close enough to five stars that I'm comfortable giving it one. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. I ordered the "Double Trouble" -- French toast loaded with cookie dough, Oreos, Nutella, and chocolate sauce. Let me just say... that dish is a train straight to diabetes. In all seriousness, it was absolutely delicious and indulgent, but definitely on the overly sweet side. If you have a serious sweet tooth, this one's for you. My wife went with the Classic Eggs Benedict, and that was excellent -- well-balanced flavors and cooked just right. The breakfast potatoes, however, were a bit bland. They were cooked well texture-wise but could definitely use more seasoning. Service was so-so, though it seemed like they were pretty busy, which likely played a role. The location is great -- conveniently about a mile from Woodside Church, one of the largest churches in Michigan -- so I can imagine it gets especially packed on weekends. One important note: restroom maintenance needs attention. With only a single restroom per gender, cleanliness is critical. My wife noticed the toilet seat wasn't clean, which is something that should be addressed promptly, especially in a high-traffic establishment. Overall, the food quality was strong, particularly the main dishes, and we'd likely return -- but there are definitely a few operational details that could elevate the experience.
