Oof. I usually love first watch but this location is not good. Our waitress came to take our coffee order, then our food order, then we never saw her again. We watched people come into the restaurant, order, eat, and LEAVE before we even got our food! We eventually, after 40 minutes, saw our food at the bar ready to be brought out, but still could not find our waitress. After 10 minutes, we asked someone to please get our waitress for us. They told us there was a shift change and that we would be getting a new one? We asked the new waitress to please check on our food. At this point, our food had been sitting out for about 15 minutes. To no surprise, when our food finally got to our table it was all cold. Still had to pay full price for horribly cold food. Bad customer service. Would not recommend. read more

First of all, First Watch has really good food. But....the service is slow, and it is so loud inside there, we wanted to just leave before we got our orders. They could work on improving the acoustics! The worst is the fact that we customers now have to stand in a long line, in order to pay our check! This is crazy, and probably will run off some people. The line gets very long when there are several people in a party, and each needs to pay. The line abuts the dining tables, so you are looking down the throats of the diners. When my group and I first arrived the staff was very pleasant and sweet. The place itself is really cool and the food was so good. We had a Bloody Mary that was delicious and the natural juices were also great! Love the food and the ingredients were all freshly made from the farm. read more

Horrible Business, Management is Lazy and serves is provided by college students not wanting to be there. The Staff decided to take STEAL a $95 dollar order with Tip. Money for the amount has yet to show up in my account after the Manager claimed the amount would be refunded and that they're sorry. First Watch is awesome! The staff there was super super welcoming and their iced coffee is superior. It's a little on the pricy side, but the food is worth it. I got their granola bowl with strawberries and it was so amazing. A good environment with good outdoor seating. It has gotten pretty busy so I would recommend trying to make a reservation if they offer them? When I went we squeezed in just before the brunch rush but they handled us well and the hosts were amazing. Would eat there again!!! read more

We have been going here for years, but after today, we will never go back to this or any First Watch. The service was all around awful. We were there for 2 hours (after being seated - we got in line on the app and were happy to wait our turn for a table) because of how slow the service was. First of all, I'd like to preface this review by saying that I worked in very high stress food and bev jobs for years, even at the height of covid, and I am typically very understanding of circumstances when restaurants are busy or understaffed. This was not that. The service we experienced today was very clearly a lack of any care on the part of the staff and management. We were greeted initially by a nice waiter, but soon realized that while he was lovely in nature, he was not competent as a waiter. He took about 25 minutes to come back to take our order (the only reason he did was because we flagged him down). Finally when we got our food placed in front of us, we had no silverware, which took about 5 minutes to get. The food was lukewarm, and the waiter never once checked on us. He didn't ask us if we wanted anything else, just brought the check. I wanted to order donuts to go, but since everything took so long, I was hesitant. I asked how long it would take if I ordered donuts, and he said 6 minutes. Well, 15 minutes goes by and we finally decided to tell him to cancel the order. So we went to the front to pay the bill, and I asked for a copy of the receipt. Thankfully I did, because they charged me for the donuts that we never received. So I went back in and explained the situation, and they had to get a manager. It took her a long time to sort it out, which is fine, but she never once apologized or really acknowledged our general presence except for when I initiated conversation with her. We asked if everything was okay and if possibly she could just give us $6 cash (the cost of the donuts) since we'd already been waiting so long, and we explained how terrible our service was. Instead, she just said no, had an attitude, and handed us 2 receipts back. I asked if everything went through and she yes, but it's disappointing that the manager herself was immature and unprofessional, and clearly not cut out for a customer service based job or leadership role. I would highly encourage corporate to come take a look at how business is being conducted at this location, because I am assuming and hoping it is not reflective of the values of First Watch (at least not in our experience in the past). read more

Gave us wrong bread a blt with only two pieces of bacon on it.. a grilled ham and cheese and didn't get any cheese. It's very hard to give this place a rating. First and I guess foremost, the food is good. The service consistently is a mess. We've eaten there multiple times, again because the food is good, and every time there is a problem. They bring the food out in shifts. Out of 4 people 2 may get their order. Then 5 minutes or so later another and then another. I thought this was a one off the first time it happened but it's every time. Today there were 4 of us. Took about 10 minutes for all of the food to be served in shifts. Asked for extra syrup and it took long enough to let the food get cold. Another order had a pancake that never showed up. We did get an order of potatoes we never ordered. Had a problem last time and the manager was very nice about it. Adjusted the bill. While that's good business, it would be much better if it wasn't necessary all the time. read more

I ate at this first watch today and they were on a brief wait..... just for cleaning up some tables, nothing major maybe 5 minutes. I watched multiple grown adults get an attitude with the young hostess... I cannot imagine what all these workers go through dealing with people who cannot even wait 5 minutes for a CLEAN table... If you're looking for a place with a little bit of everything, this is it! The pancakes and biscuits and Turkey sausage gravy were amazing. The Purple Haze was like drinking a flower, and the Cinnamon Milk drink (adults only!) has amazing presentation and tastes even better. Gabrielle is an amazing server, very attentive and sweet. ADDED UNAUTHORIZED TIP TO MY CHARGE CARD!!!! Visited Mt. Pleasant for a baseball tournament and went to First Watch on Sunday morning, June 20. It was Father's Day, so VERY busy, but we asked to be seated at the bar and were seated right away. The young man behind the bar was really on top of his game, staying busy and prepping as he had time, took our order and was very pleasant. The food was good and coffee was excellent. Our bill was $25.50, not a huge bill, but I was so impressed with the young man behind the bar that I wanted to leave a nice tip. So I wrote CASH on the tip line of my bill, totaled it at $25.50 and then handed him a $10 bill. He seemed very pleased. While reviewing my checking account the following week I noticed that $30.50 was charged to my card. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. I explained that I was just upset that someone had been dishonest and added $5 to my card that was not authorized. She was very apologetic, asked if she could look into it and call me back, and I agreed. She did call back a few hours later and reported that she found all the receipts for the morning of our visit except mine. She insisted that she send me a gift card to make amends and took down my mailing information. It has now been three weeks since that conversation and I still have not received a gift card or any additional information about the extra charge. I post this only to alert folks to check your bills and charges for this place so that you won't be surprised with extra charges!!! Don't think I'll go there again. read more

Two stars because of the wait. I used to visit here frequently and could always get a seat fairly quickly with 2+ parties. As of today, for the last time, I was told that it would be a 30-45 minute wait for one person with 4-5 open tables and no line. The tables open needed cleaned but regardless, the wait should have been way less than that. I would have been okay with 10 minutes but really, that long? On a good note, I have never been disappointed with my breakfast here. On food, I would give them more stars but I probably will not be back. read more

First time trying this place and couldn't have had a worse experience. Unfortunately, I cant speak to the food because we never got it after waiting at our table for over an hour. Our server, Jordan, brought us the drinks we had ordered with no ice and my husband's Bloody Mary was missing their signature "million dollar bacon". When he asked for ice and the bacon, she said they were out of the bacon. When he said that was why he ordered the drink she rolled her eyes and said, "well you're going to have to wait a few minutes until it's done". Okaaaaaay....could have led with that. After we finally were able to order, we waited....and waited...and waited. For breakfast food. Plus, there were at least three cooks that we could see in the kitchen and the majority of the tables around us did not have their food either. About a half hour in after our order was placed, our server said our food was almost up...fast forward more than 30 mins later, we just asked for the check for our drinks. Instead of being apologetic and possibly comping or discounting the drinks, she took her time bringing the bill back in the full amount. This is the one and only time I've never left someone a tip.
