You can never go wrong with some First Watch and I am so glad we now have this location in the neighborhood! Service was great as all the employees were friendly and attentive. The inside is very modern and spacious and they did a great job on turning this place around from what used to be here. Our food was great and the portions were big. My favorite are the breakfast potatoes, so yummy! If you are looking for a good brunch place, friendly staff, and great service come here!

I been here a couple of times already. The pancakes are DELICIOUS!! The best I've tried. I've brought family members here and they loved it too. The service is always great. Servers come and check up on you frequently. This time I tried something from the new menu. The carne asada hash. It was amazing. 10/10. I really enjoyed it and look forward to coming back and tying it again.

Visited this new location of first watch during their grand opening weekend. Loved the ambience it's so much better than the one we regularly visit in chandler. The staff was under training and they did such a good job! I loved my morning meditation juice which I ordered without ice. It was truly refreshing. The lemon ricotta pancake was wholesome and delicious I could barely finish one with a little bit of struggle as it's pretty filling. I took the other in a to go box. The seasoned potatoes were just right! Very amazing experience overall will certainly visit this location again.

Excellent food, great service and very nice ambiance. Took my daughter there before driving back to college.

Upgrade your potatoes! Add million dollar bacon and sauce, so good! Also had the fluffy biscuits and turkey gravy with eggs.

Parking 5/5 Arrived at 10ish. Busy lot in strip mall with shared parking. No problem finding parking. Atmosphere 5/5 Lots of Country and Patriotic splash throughout. It may take you a minute to take it all in but it's fun and comfortable here. The place was bustling with patrons and the waiting list was growing with some waiting outside. The restaurant has multiple dining rooms and larger than you might think from the outside. With the assistance of the hostess we've took the room immediately to the right to accommodate our large party of 9. . Service 5/5++ Today's we were served by Madison our ambassador for our group today. She was all smiles and provided our large group with a superb breakfast experience. The restaurant itself gives off more of a farmhouse-y, homey vibe, as opposed to a traditional, vintage diner. All the same, it was a comfortable place to get a bite. The portions were generous and I quite enjoyed the Southern Breakfast that I ordered. The Southern Breakfast consisted of sausage patties and eggs atop a biscuit and smothered in country gravy. It was a hearty meal and also delicious. I sampled a bite of my sister's pancakes as well and they were incredibly tasty. Our server was so sweet and knowledgable on the menu. I will absolutely return here for future meals--great spot!

I want to start by saying our server was great, the atmosphere was nice, and our food came out quickly, which we appreciated. We had only taken a couple bites of our meals when my boys needed to use the bathroom. I took them, and intentionally left my purse at the table so it was clear we hadn't left. When we came back, our entire meal had been cleared from the table. It was incredibly frustrating, especially with hungry little kids. The manager came over and apologized and offered to remake the food, but at that point my kids were hungry, upset, and honestly I was too. I just wanted to leave. I asked if they could comp the meal because this was entirely due to their mistake. The manager then said we should still pay 50% of the bill, which was honestly shocking. Paying half for food we barely ate because it was taken by mistake felt completely unreasonable. After I pushed back, they did end up comping the meal. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What made this experience especially disappointing was the manager's lack of empathy and apology--especially as a mom trying to manage dinner with little kids. It turned what started as a pleasant dinner into a very stressful and upsetting experience.

But I can judge simply food or filet a trout or chicken and add a homemade beurre blanc sauce. I like simple red wine but relish a Camus anniversary bottle. We eat at hole in the walls and expensive places. But often we look at each other and choose between Dennys or VI, and are happy! Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.

Just 2 minutes from the ALB airport, this spot hits exactly how you need it to hit when you're either coming off a flight or heading into one: easy, classic, no-frills comfort. I went with the corned beef hash + pancakes breakfast, and it delivered that old-school diner energy. The hash was hearty and filling, eggs cooked just right, and the pancakes? Soft, golden, and exactly what you expect--nothing fancy, just solid. But let's be clear... the real reason you come here is the pie. Village Inn doesn't play about their pies, and the banana cream pie is the headline act. Light, creamy, not overly sweet, topped with whipped cream and just enough texture to make every bite feel intentional. For under $20 a pie, it feels like one of those rare "still worth it" moments in today's food scene. Yes--it's a chain. But this location in Albuquerque shows up like it understands the assignment: quick service, consistent quality, and that nostalgic diner comfort that doesn't try too hard. DISCOVERY SCORE: * Food: * Service: * Value: * Must-Try Factor (Banana Cream Pie): Would I come back? For the pie alone? Absolutely.
