Both food and service were great. Usually, there is no need to wait for seating. It's a very reasonable place.

Some places are so authentic you hope they never change. If you want a taste of classic old school…read morediner - the kind where food sticks to your ribs and service is warm and honest, you owe it to try out Midlands. It's a place you're likely to encounter your grandparents l, who come here because portions are generous and it taste like it always has. Nothing fancy. Pancakes are the winner - they are fluffy and nearly sweet enough to eat without syrup. Eggs are fine and hashbrowns are plenty though you might be hoping for a bit more crisp. Lunch will need to wait until another visit but I can tell the club sandwich and side of biscuits will be easy choice along with open face turkey or meatloaf. It's grandma's kitchen for certain, and it always has a place in my heart.

A local gem. Finding a good breakfast place can be hit or miss. Midland is definitely a hit…read more Coming in around 10:30 on a Monday, I didn't expect it to be busy. I was wrong, but it was worth the wait. We got our names out down and waited about 20 mins for a table to open up. Our server was very nice and super busy. She got our drink orders and then when she came back she got our food orders. I got the breakfast sandwich with ham and the homestyle potatoes and fruit. My husband got the early bird special, which goes until 11. It was a little wait for the food which was completely understandable. When it came out, it came out hot and tasty. The sandwich was served with an omelet style egg and tasted really good. The homefries were delicious, they were cooked with onions that added a little sweetness and had a little crust on them from the flat top. My husband really liked his meal. It was a good sized portion, with 2 biscuits, eggs over easy, 2 sausage patties and gravy. He turned them into little biscuit sandwiches. The biscuit he said was really good and gave me a piece, it was light and fluffy. The food here is down home comfort food that hits the spot. Service is super friendly. It's a place worth checking out if you are passing through or just coming to if you are a local. The prices are great, food delicious, service friendly and fast, you can't go wrong.

Everything came to our table pipping hot. We had the fried green tomatoes, the club, and the notorious pig! Everything was fresh and didn't leave us feeling overly full and gross. The food and ambiance will bring us back but Olivia's service will keep us coming back. She understood the assignment. We told her we were hungry and she made things happen. She continuously checked on us but didn't hover. She was friendly and efficient. Service with a smile is always appreciated, thank you!

Not to mention we are regular guests which severing staff know us. Finally got seated. We had to ask for kids menu which we know were available (We're regulars). The host is not paying attention. I was well aware prices have gone up at least a dollar from the entire menu, and we do enjoy the food, but to set the expectation of "average" menus item being $14, and burgers $14.75-$16.75, you've got to do better. Thankfully the server made the entire experience great. She has served us multiple times and understands our special needs for our son. *We'll definitely be back, but I this industry will not survive "expecting" 20% and doing that to guests. (That servers we had will always get a generous tip from us) ***It's gong to come down to asking to be sat in specific server's section.

I love Bella! Given dining choices in Maryville, this is the probably my favorite non-steakhouse…read morehigher end dining spots. Their food is consistently very good. I especially like the restaurant atmosphere. It's very comfortable, upper scale and no matter how packed you can have a conversation with your table mates and everyone can be heard. The bar has most of the standards...even higher end options. It never ceases to irk me that they either don't carry Hendricks gin or are always out. Must try dish at Bella is Pasta in the Wheel. Fettuccine pasta flambé in a grana padano cheese wheel can be ordered as an appetizer or main course. Truly decadent!

I really like that they take reservations; it gives the whole place a true date night vibe. We started with the truffle fries, which are always a great choice (Added ranch on the side of course). Next time I'm definitely planning to try the artichokes and Brussels sprouts: they looked amazing coming out to other tables. For drinks, I tried the Greenway seasonal cocktail and it was my favorite of the night--really well balanced and something I'd order again without hesitation. I also sampled the cucumber basil martini, which was fine but not quite as good even though it's in a similar flavor profile. The Gold Coast was another solid option, just very strong and on the boozier side. Food-wise, I probably should have stuck with what they do best (the pasta and cheese wheel with added chicken) but I tried the mushroom rigatoni instead. It had a good base flavor, but it was a bit heavy on the pepper the night I went, which overpowered it for me. I'd skip that one next time. I'm curious to go back and try the short rib or the vodka sauce pasta instead. To finish, the chocolate pot de crème was perfect: rich, smooth, and just the right portion. If you only want a few bites of dessert, it's ideal. Overall, Bella is still a go-to for me, especially for a nice dinner or date night atmosphere.
