We live in Mansfield, and have had many issues at Mansfield First Watch, from seating to paying we will not return to the First Watch in Mansfield Management and most all workers are just there for a paycheck and tips, they don't care about anything and obviously don't know what the word QUALITY food or service means, they are precooking most everything except the eggs and even the eggs are not cooked to order, what a shame to spoil good food, precooking the waffles serving cold and dry . This is the 5th and absolutely last time for Mansfield we just wanted to give Mansfield one more try and the same cold dry waffle, when I ordered the Trevecca i told the waitress i wanted a fresh cooked waffle, sure enough it came cold and dry, I told the waitress the waffle was cold and dry and requested a fresh made waffle, the waitress just took it back and someone microwaved it, I gave it back and the waitress made no effort to re order, just removed the waffle from our bill this is the last time we will go to Mansfield First Watch. The Arlington First Watch on S Cooper has always prepared the food correctly. normally we are very pleased with First Watch. Stay away from the Mansfield store. read more

I've been ordering from here several times, and I'm done. The farmhouse hash is my go-to, but the last 2 times I've been extremely disappointed. It's supposed to come with 2 eggs along with bacon, and what I received had no where near even one egg, and I found two small less-than-an-inch squares of bacon in the whole dish. I have not actually had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant... My fiancé and I had our names put on the waiting list and were told that it was about a 45 minute wait. We were fine with that, however, after an hour went by and still nothing we went in to ask what was the hold up and were told that it would be about 30 MORE minutes. We were also told that their boss made them say it was a 45 minute time frame to try and keep people waiting. The reason for the three stars is I wanted to order two strips of bacon, but they could not sell me two strips of bacon, but could sell me four strips, not two. I placed an online order thinking it'd be a easy in and out experience. NO. first when i walked in the host was unwelcoming and brushed me off when i stated I had an online order. order was supposed to be ready at 12:04 pm. i showed up around 12:08 to give them some wiggle room. i did not receive my food until 12:28. which is beyond ridiculous. the lady who brought the food out walked right past me and sat in on a table as if she didn't ask me what was my name for the order. will not be returning. read more

For our first visit we were not that impressed... at all. We got sat and our waitress greeted us quickly and was nice, but when she brought our water the carafe and cups were filthy, so I wiped them off... BUT, when my wife got here hot chocolate it was SO watered down it just tasted like bitter water. She changed her order to a soda and low and behold the glass was filthy again! There were massive streaks down ALL the glass items and food particles. Upon closer inspection, our table looked as if it was just brushed and not actually wiped down with anything as there were splotches of sauce/food still left in several areas. Then we got our food and that just sealed the bad deal. I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict and got a stale, hard as a rock, piece of chibata with a couple of cheap cuts of salmon that wasn't smoked at all, with two poached eggs that were still raw inside. Granted, cooking a good poached egg is challenging, but if you're a cook in a "professional" restaurant then you should be able to do it. The "pickled" red onions were just regular raw red onions also. Lastly, with my dish, I chose to pay extra for their skillet potatoes but unfortunately could not eat half of them because they were cut so big that the small ones were burnt and the large ones were still raw. My wife's Trifecta breakfast was just eggs, bacon and a waffle. All of which were just unremarkable items... nothing to be impressed with. The bacon was oven baked, so it wasn't caramelized and just meh as far as flavor. The eggs were just eggs, no salt, pepper or seasoning of any kind. Waffle was decent, but just a plain old waffle. At least it was cooked, unlike my food. My wife asked to talk with the manager at the checkout, but she was told that she would have to wait because the manager was in back closing out because they were shutting down. Overall, the place gets one star for being nice looking and having some unique items on their menu and one star for the waitress being nice and prompt... for a total of two stars. They lose three for VERY dirty glassware, poor quality beverages, dangerously undercooked eggs and falling short of their food quality versus what they present on the menu. As far as the eggs Benedict are concerned and the breakfast food my wife had... well there are SEVERAL smaller mom and pop places around town that I could HIGHLY recommend over this chain restaurant that has AMAZING eggs Benedict and AMAZING breakfast foods. I would like to say that we would return, but honestly, given there are places that serve WAY BETTER renditions of their offerings that I just can't justify coming back here given just how pathetic the overall quality was. read more

Definitely do not recommend at all. I got the quinoa chicken pesto bowl and it wasn't anything special. It tasted like chicken with a lot of lemon juice. I couldn't even taste the pesto. The iced coffee was really good but I would rather go to Starbucks. I read the reviews before coming here and figured I would give it a try. But I paid $20 just for myself (the chicken quinoa bowl, iced coffee, and a cinnamon roll) and it wasn't worth it by any means. The cinnamon roll was dry, tasted like the ones you can get in cans that you can pop in the oven. Extremely disappointed. Waitress was super sweet though. She had pretty earrings. read more

Had an incredible interaction with management here. The service was tremendous. The manager, Allen, promised me a fix for an inconvenience that wasn't anybody's fault, but was unfortunate for me nonetheless. I came in the next day and dealt with a different manager who's name I didn't get (long beard though), and though the originally offered fix wasn't available, he eagerly and sincerely worked to make it up to me. Without getting into specifics, he went well beyond what I expected at all, and I left as a very happy customer. Food wasn't half bad. I've had better. Service however, not good. It took 35 minutes to get my food after I sat down. Several other tables were getting their food and they were seated after I was. I ordered tea and never once received or ask for a refill. Kenyen is a nice kid, but he needs additional training in speed and attention to detail. Slow service unacceptable to me. I tried First Watch this week for the first time and was a little annoyed with 1) my online order said it would be ready by 12:55 however it was way after. The cashier told a waitress that I was waiting on my order and instead of giving me the order it was placed over at the pick-up table. Now on to what I order ~ I hate when you ask for additions and fail to include it such as cheese on my eggs. I got the food home to find everything I wanted except for cheese on my eggs. The BB pancakes (per my son) was good, bacon was crispy and his eggs (you know the story) no cheese! I ordered Cheese Grits - a little thick for my liking but really cheesy and the bacon was just right. Overall I would give me a "3" but would be willing to visit again. Please consider where you spend your breakfast money. This probably not where you want to spend it, My wife didn't want to cook so she did the call ahead seating for here. We walked right in and was seated fast. The place was full and had people waiting. I thought we were set, nice clean place and good food was in my head, I was WRONG! Service was exceptionally slow, and order took forever. When our food did show up it was cold, waffles wouldn't melt the butter that was in it and eggs were like ice. My wife ordered a side of the "million dollar bacon" , what a mistake, it may cost a million but it was barely cooked. Most of it was raw, and was not anything special, just four strips of bacon on a cold plate..... Nothing had flavor, just kind of plain old food. I come to this location very often. I'm disappointed in the service as of lately and the non attention to detail. I've went three times as of recent and have asked for a Sunrise granola bowl. They do not know how to make it. They always give me the kids granola bowl. Then get an attitude and tell me it's the right bowl. I've been to first watches all over the world in atleast 7 different states, never have i had this problem. I believe some training and review of the menus needs to be done. There are other concerns i have also with there DoorDash orders and the food at times not looking as tasty as when you dine in. The waffles are burnt and at times your missing items. Overall just believe this location needs training and maybe new management! read more

We've been to the First watch in Arlington and it's always been great unfortunately that wasn't the case here. We arrived and were seated right away, after being seated it took about 20 mins for anyone to even acknowledge us even though the restaurant was slow. We actually saw someone arrive after us get seated and get drinks before we were spoken to. Finally when we did get a waiter he only came twice once to take our orders and then to drop off the bill, the food took what felt like forever and when the food came it was cold and my husband was missing his extra eggs. At this point we had already been there close to 45 mins and my kids were hungry so they just ate it as is. The only meal that was a decent temp was mine. We definitely will continue to visit First watch but I will take the trek out to Arlington and avoid Mansfield. read more

Garbage... The service here is AWFUL & getting worse! It took us nearly two hours to have breakfast with a party of 3. It took 20 minutes for our waitress to greet us after we were seated. If it were possible to give them a ZERO rating I would. My son and I went there today. We were there for almost an hour and a half after we were sat. We literally ordered 3 eggs, toast, a waffle and bacon. The table beside us was sat around 15 minutes after us. When we left they had already finished and paid their bill. Our waitress had come by 3 times and stated that she was "checking on our order". When I spoke with the manager he was unapologetic and only stated that they were understaffed. Then when I stated that we were leaving, he asked if there was anything else he could do for us? REALLY? He offered no apology, or to even look into why it was taking so long. The service here never seems to surprise me I only come in here when someone gives me a gift card due to the terrible service. We were seated by a young lady who was very rude and acted bothered by the fact she had to deal with us. Once we were seated no one came to take our drink orders for 10 minutes finally we had to go get someone cause every server walked past us without and reconciliation.
