Good food means greater demand and that cascades into longer wait times. People need to get accustomed to this fact of life and stop whining. The staff always try their best to get their job done. Additional staffing might be required but everyone's got a help wanted sign nowadays. Second, the food. Fresh ingredients and always tasty. Yes, some options are a bit granola Los Angeles hippie-ish but give it a try. You might like that crunchy granola pancake or quinoa bowl. Pancakes are always made perfectly. Food might take longer than IHOP but this isn't some mass market diner. Third, the atmosphere/overall structure of the interior. It's busy but always clean. The ambiance, food & service. No complaints. I ordered the Bacado which was an omelette with crispy bacon, avocado and Jack cheese topped with more avocado and sour cream. The bacon was perfect. Not too hard and just the right amount of crisp. I also ordered the Tangerine Dream. It's seasonal unfortunately. It was DELICIOUS and refreshing. We tried the Mansfield location. The food was good although my husband's black beans were served cold. He asked for a replacement and they brought out a small cup and charged us for a side of beans. The waitress was slow and our food, beverages, etc were slow to come. I will try other First Watch locations but may not return to the Mansfield location, even though it's the closest to my house. We went to First Watch for the first time last weekend, and then we went back this morning, and now I'm sitting here trying to convince my boyfriend that we should go back tomorrow morning.. So far we've tried: Million dollar bacon 10/10 - a must try, super unique flavor Blueberry Muffin Top Griddle Cakes - 9/10 - super delicious, but very sweet/rich. You'll probably want to have something else as a side option to balance the sweetness Fresh seasoned potatoes - 10/10 - we are NOT potato people, so this is high praise coming from me. They season their potatoes really well, so every bite is flavorful and delicious. Blueberry Pancakes - 8/10 - good flavor, great blueberry to pancake ration. They are BIG (which they do tell you on the menu, which I appreciate!) so unless you can pack away a LOT of food, you'll probably want 1. Whole Grain Artisan Toast with All-Natural House Preserves - 10/10 - never have I gotten so excited to rate TOAST, but this toast was insanely good! Absolutely loved it! I didn't get it when we went today, and I wished I had.. excellent flavor and texture! Went to the restaurant today for my auntie s birthday. We waited an hour & half which was kinda ridiculous. The young woman at the door can't remember her name. I think it started with a L was very delightful and nice trying her best to get us in. One in we sat down and has one waitress helping up. Her name is Letty I believe. She messed up our orders, had the birthday girl waited almost waiting 25 mins to get her meal and she was the last to get served. When complained to the manager he said she was given 3 servers to help her but she refused. We believe it was because she wanted all the tips from the big party. During the wait time for our food to arrive my wife and I decided to split a Million Dollar Bloody Mary with Million Dollar Bacon. The waiter came back out and apologized, but they were out of the ingredients to make the Bloody Mary. He offered us other selections from the drink menu which we passed on. Well, right before our food arrived guess what showed up? A bacon-less Million Dollar BACON Bloody Mary. The food was not good. That's the easiest and most to-the-point assessment I can give. My wife's eggs Benedict had hollandaise sauce that taste like a someone squeezed a lemon in your mouth during every bite. She had a giant pile of mixed greens, however the dressing advertised wasn't anywhere to be found. Once they finally brought the dressing out, the greens were semi-edible. The Tri-fecta had a decent waffle with powdered sugar. The eggs were well presented and cooked as ordered. But the bacon? Oh dear god the bacon! You'll have to look at the pictures attached to the review, but the bacon tasted like something that had been microwaved for 30 minutes. It was horrendous and without a doubt the worst I have ever eaten in my 38 years on this planet. This stuff was drier and had more crunch than a tortilla chip. And it wasn't just my bacon, mind you. Remember my wife ordered the BLT Benedict and her bacon was just as bad if not worse. For the price, I'd suggest something else in Mansfield. Hearth Cafe is a top contender and will be my go-to unless something else pops up. Unfortunately this will be our first and last time to visit this restaurant. read more

The side of egg was also kind of good. Personally, you can make all their meals that consist of just that (just in a different spot on the plate) at home.
