This is in our neighborhood been here a handful of times since we moved here about 3 years ago. We love the location as its very close in the neighborhood. One time my Goddaughters and I rode our bikes here after a long ride. Today was a just bc I didn't want to cook bkfst and it was already late. We all enjoyed our meals! The service is always great

Pick 2 for lunch - Ham & Gruyère sandwich and Kale Chicken crunch salad

Stopped in for lunch (I'm always there for breakfast!) and tried their ham and cheese sandwich with a kale chicken salad and it was perfect! Highly recommend! Perfect taste combination and the portion was big. Great price!

Biscuits and gravy with over easy eggs and fresh fruit

Food was delicious as always but service really sucked. The place was PACKED. But this momma wanted biscuits and gravy so it was on! There was a 30 minute wait to sit. We were seated right at 30 minutes. The hostess was nice and welcoming. I did ask for outside seating but we were seated inside. I wasn't going to complain given the fact I was starving and we already waited 30 minutes for this table. We waited and waited and finally greeted by our server. The couple seated after us was with another server and was greeted well before us which was a bit annoying. By the time our server even came to our table we had ample time to know our order. So when she arrived we placed drink and food orders. The drinks took a bit to come out, despite my daughter and I only having water. Hubs ordered a Sprite and she actually never brought it so I had to flag her down and ask her to bring it. Food arrived. My order was wrong so I had to send it back -- I asked for fruit instead of potatoes. Food was tasty although I was a bit aggravated about the slow service and lack of attention to our order. I've never had issues with any other First Watch locations I've visited. This was our first visit to this location. Seems others have had similar experiences with slow service at this location.

I love breakfast. First watch provides a wide range of both breakfast and lunch. Some of the items are unique in the addition of unexpected flavors and ingredients and others just have a slight twist. The million dollar bacon is maple flavored with pepper type spices. It is really good. I ordered an omelette and my table mate order soup and sandwich. The other person ordered the trifecta - eggs, toast, potatoes and pancakes. It was presented nicely. Brooke was an excellent server. Parking is plentiful and restaurant is roomy. It has a nice decor. It still fills up on a Sunday morning and you may have to wait.

Took over half an hour for us to get cold and extremely runny eggs, cold bacon, cold pancakes. Just 100% disappointed.

Walked in behind a guy who was immediately seated. The hostess then walked away ignoring me. Tons of open tables. Nope! Get some manners

This restaurant can't get an order correct whether you're dining in or carry out. I use to love this place really gone down hill.

I went with one of their Shamrock mint cookies and cream shakes that they had one their St. Patrick's Day holiday special menu! This quaint oasis offered a sitting couch and plush chairs, and a few tables and chairs to sit and get some laptop work done if desired. It was quiet and very pleasant. They also offer a play space in the back of the business for little ones to play while a Mom relaxes on the couch to enjoy her drink! I was very happy I stopped and I'm looking forward to returning with my family to try some more shakes!

You can tell so much thought went into every detail--from the cozy vibe to the way the drinks are made with so much care. The coffee is AMAZING. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced every single time. Their specialty drinks are on another level too--creative, flavorful, and not overly sweet like most places. You can really taste the quality. And the staff? Literally the sweetest people ever. They're fast, friendly, and make you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. This isn't just a coffee shop, it's a whole experience. It's run by a group of women who feel welcoming & happy to see you, in the way they greet you and move with purpose behind the counter. Service is fast, friendly, and they make it look effortless. Their drinks? Always on point. They made me a cookie butter latte -- iced, hot, whatever it technically was -- and it was ridiculously good. Their breakfast-style bites hit the spot too. The muffins, the bagels... I can't even remember everything I've tried, but I remember it all being delicious. That's the important part. The space has this inviting brick-and-wood vibe that gives it a little "up north" feel. Comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere, the kind of place you can sit with your thoughts or escape the house for a bit. They've also got juices and boba teas, and honestly, I haven't had a single thing from their menu that missed. If you live in the area and want a spot that feels like your spot -- freshly brewed coffee, good food, good people -- Grind Haus is it.

The staff... both the guy with the tablet who took my order while I was in the drive-thru line-and the gal at the window-were so warm, friendly, chill and helpful. I'd go back just to bask in their positivity! But kindness isn't the only thing on the menu. There's coffee, tea, plant-based energy drinks, Italian sodas... and dozens (I think 75) of flavors you can add to them. In a fist visit, I usually start with chai tea latte... but today I asked for suggestions and ended up with a hot hibiscus tea with added pear flavoring. It was so floral and different! Hello new year! This knocked "the usual" on its head. I'm not sure that it will end up being my favorite offering here, but yeah... here's to shaking things up! I also tried the rainbow bagel-which was pretty and tasty. I liked the chew. Next time I'll try the strawberry cream cheese with it. There are filled croissants, too... but I forgot to ask about the flavors-and you can get mini donuts, too. White Duck was founded by a couple of Seattle transplants, who wanted to bring the "two windows in a shed" model of Pacific Northwest coffee shops to the Bay Area. And that's exactly what this is-a drive thru-no indoor seating-and I didn't see any outdoor tables, either. This is grab and go. But there's parking behind the building, if you want to sit and savor a bit. The shop is way up on North Dale Mabry-near Van Dyke-on the east side, right next to a Wendy's. It wasn't busy when I first got there but there at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, but it soon picked up. I can see why... it's so convenient and the staff is so nice. They really stand out. I can't wait to stop in again and try more! I read on the website that the owners lost a child to cancer and part of the proceeds from each purchase goes to research. Well now I just have to try all those 75 flavors! See you soon, White Duck!
