Wow!! I just tried this spot for the first time but no where near the last. This place is excellent and definitely one of our new favorite breakfast spots. The ambience was nice and gave you the feel of half farm half fancy restaurant. Everything they make is super fresh and they have a juice bar to top it all off. I had the Floridian french toast which was just as gorgeous as it was tasty. My boyfriend got the chickichanga and he fell in love with that chick too. You really should do yourself a favor and try this spot. read more

Great experience here. Staff is super friendly. Multiple service staff stop by to check on you, not just your one waiter/waitress. Food is excellent!!! Great choices and fairly unique. Definitely will be back. Only negative is that parking is limited, but the food and service more than make up for it. We ended up parking in big lot of the strip mall behind the restaurant. Pretty awful considering this is a brand new establishment and basic restaurant management etiquette is already being over looked. My mom (who has been a fan of other F.W. locations) and I made a stop here the day before Mother's Day. I'll also note that she has worked in the service industry from diners to fine hotel restaurants her whole life to present, so our complaints aren't out of reason or understanding. First problem: 1 person working the front on a Saturday. The dining room was not busy yet we stood at the front unacknowledged for quite a long period of time. Saying "I'll be with you in just a moment" goes a long way and lets the guest know you're aware they are there and will be seated soon so they're not left wondering what's going on. Second problem: I'll quickly get past the fact that 3-5 different people asked us about placing our order within 5 minutes and get to the 1st major problem: Part of our meal was burnt..I mean, CHARRED. We politely asked for a re-do and the waitress actually argued that it was due to other ingredients and how it was cooked (big LOL). Maybe she should have applied to be a cook and not a waitress. When the replacement came it was obvious that the food was from the same burnt batch. Why lie and pretend it was a fresh plate? Just apologize and say you don't have a fresh batch available. As a result, my mom had to send her ENTIRE plate back and didn't order anything else. As my mom works in the same shoes and knows how it should be handled and to see it not handled correctly, she was over it. Last and BIGGEST problem: Waitress delivered a check with BOTH meals still billed even though we clearly sent one back. HOW does that even happen? After we explained the disaster meal and horrible service to the trainer at the front check out we should have been comp'd the entire bill, as I've been to a finer restaurant with way higher prices who have comp'd an entire bill (not expecting it) for a way smaller accident. We were never asked if we wanted to speak with the manager, the waitress never asked the manager to come see us, and the manager never walked the dining room to check on guests (including us) while there. Had a totally different experience at a place like Village Inn where the servers don't challenge customer's requests and the manager atleast checks on the tables, service, and front. read more

YEESSSS!!! This First Watch is as good as the Tyrone store. It is laid out a little differently, and the high top walk-in table is a medium top here, but that's OK. The food was identical to what I had at Tyrone-the Acapulco Express omlette, with Chorizo, onion, avacado and monterey jack cheese and a dallop of sour cream-was delicious. The oven potatoes and side of turkey sausage were both excellent, as well. The service was friendly and effective. read more

Food was great, but the staff couldn't seat a wedding party together on their wedding day, even though 1) there were dozens of seats coming available as we arrived, 2) they told us we could do it many times, and 3) we had 4 people call early this morning all explaining that this would be happening at 11 and they said no problem. Today was the wedding day, and the bride couldn't sit with her father she hadn't seen in months. Clusters were scattered throughout the restaurant nowhere near each other. Also, they fed the bride DEAD LAST out of all 24 of us. Dead last. And they knew she was the bride. It was nobody's fault individually, but there were legit 4 empty tables to the left of where I sat when we sat down on that super long booth on the opposite side of the register wall. I said, "are you guys gonna seat us all here?" And the waitress said probably. And then a host sat a completely different couple right next to us 2 minutes later. The the food was divine, and the waitress Chelsey was a saint and let the bride get very mad at her over this situation. But, yeah. For individual groups this would probably be a good spot. Don't try to have a party greater than 6 come here. Tips to fix this if I may: Reserving online didn't have a time slot option, it was just 15 minutes from this moment. Also, 6 was the maximum reservation. So for bigger parties you should put a note to call and handle it over the phone?Or just tell us it can't be done so we can go elsewhere. read more

Wow! What a delicious find! We had three different dishes, and they were all amazing. I had market hash and added avocado. It was creamy, meaty, and the perfect balance meat, egg, and veggies. The crab cake Benedict was delicious, and packed with crab. Finally, the works omelette is meaty and satisfying. The best brunch we have had in a while. Give it a try!!!! read more

This, like all First Watch restaurants I've been in, is a bright, airy, clean space. My husband, who never comments on decor, just said "I do like how they decorate these places." The menu is descriptive and interesting. You can order healthy, lean meals, or you can load on the carbs and fat. The food has been good and prepared as ordered. I think it's a bit expensive for a breakfast/lunch restaurant, ($7 for oatmeal, although it is oatmeal with lots of stuff in it,) but they say their products are fresh and organic, which is important to all of us, right? The food was served quickly. Eggs were perfect, the syrup was hot. Lots of little things done right. And the whole grain toast was crunchy and delicious. First watch is a place I have always heard about, but had not tried till about a month ago AND IT I AMAZING. FROM THE MANAGERS ALL SERVERS TO THERE KALE TONIC, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT HERE! Iam a server so going out I pay attention to more detail then most and when I tell u the time I was in the door till I left I was pleased. Kale tonic is a must have. Millionaires bacon is delicious. Breakfast farm stand tacos; superb. They consist of a real corn tortilla with eggs,chicken,chorizo, pico de gallo, and avocado! They combination on your stomach is not to heavy and all ingredients are fresh and taste right on point. The real good thick fresh whole grain toast is killer! I am never let down when coming here. We were on our way home from vacation and saw many positive reviews on yelp for this breakfast restaurant. We stopped and it was the best breakfast. I ordered the million dollar bacon and yes it was worth a million dollars!! It was bacon with brown sugar and maple syrup and cayenne pepper. It is to die for. We also had the pumpkin pancake since it is the day before Halloween. It was a large pancake with the best flavor of pumpkin without being overwhelming. We also had a tri athlete egg white omelette. It had mushrooms and green chili hatch peppers and homemade pico de gallo. The food is top notch and fresh beyond words. I strongly suggest anyone to try this restaurant. I absolutely love this place. My daughter and I are visiting family here and found First Watch on Yelp and were not disappointed. The menu is loaded w whole foods and clean eats. You're able to keep it lite or indulge.i started with the morning meditation from the juice menu which was cold crisp and delightful. Then I had the chikichamga that came highly recommended by other yelpers and it was delish. My daughter had the waffle w fresh berry compote and she ate it all and said she loved it. The menu is a little pricey for breakfast but I have always enjoyed what I ordered very much. This is an upscale restaurant. After hurricane irma hit, I was without without power. I was hot, tired, I needed to charge my phone. When I walked in, I felt so welcomed and was seated at a table with an outlet. I'm so disappointed. My first ever visit to First Watch was this location and I received just the opposite of most reviews. Service I arrived during a "slow" time at 10:30am on a Thursday with half the tables empty. It still took 6 minutes for someone to greet me to tell me it would be a few more minutes and proceeded to check out 2 people who came to the register long after I was there. I then waited another 5 minutes to have my order taken. My beverage (water) came after my meal was served. Only once did the staff check on me and it was a drive by. She said, "is everything delicious?" But before I could respond she was done. I didn't even see her leave my check! She was fast but service and/or any personality was nonexistent. The cashier didn't even wait for me to sign the check before he left the register. I looked for a manager the entire time I was there. I wanted them to know about my experience but they were absent. Might be why service was so poor. Food Quality Food selection was good with a bunch of healthy alternatives. I had the traditional breakfast and eggs had minimal flavor but were cooked perfectly. Potatoes, on the other hand, had numerous raw chunks in it. They tasted as if they were cooked where fish was grilled. The chicken sausage was OK but nothing I would order again. The toast was fine but only one slice with the meal! Food Value A basic breakfast without a bevrage was $10. Way overpriced for the amount, flavor, and level of service. Summary There are so many other options for breakfast with healthy alternatives, a fair price, and great service. I can't understand why this place gets such high marks. I must have simply been an exception. But it was bad enough that I won't return. read more

The food is very good, and uses lots of vegetables and less fat to be more healthy than your typical lunch or breakfast cafe. Many meals come with a salad on the side instead of the fried potatoes you would normally see. My favorite menu items are the avocado toast with poached egg or the lemon ricotta pancakes. Recently, I tried the Matcha pancakes with berries. Wasn't sure what to expect, but they were delicious. Pancakes at this restaurant are huge. The menu is a mix of regular items you will always see and a shorter seasonal menu that changes frequently. This keeps it interesting. Juices are tasty and change seasonally. We visit as a couple or as a group. They have several tables to seat large groups. The restaurant can be very noisy, especially on weekends when it is pretty crowded. Plan on a wait on weekends. There is a parking lot, but on a weekend, you may have to circle once or twice until a space opens up. read more

The food is very good, but restaurant poorly managed when busy(and staff doesn't seem to care either). The wait over the weekend is at minimum over an hour and the estimates are inaccurate. Service is also not very good when busy - you'll have to ask for basics (coffee, water etc) multiple times and it will take forever since they rarely check in with your table. A great place for breakfast. Usually get the ham and cheese omelette. Sorry, ham and gruyere. It comes with salad greens which isn't my taste, but home-fried potatoes are an option. Various other items on the menu are not really my taste, but my wife likes them. It's a little pretentious, but the food is good so I'll survive. I was going to get the multi grain pancakes, but didn't immediately see an option for bacon. it's that kind of place. "Healthier" and more "Organic" I suppose. The coffee is just ok. I would expect choices of coffee and maybe espresso for the price level. We talked about bringing our own. Still the food is good so we go back. read more

Well, i'm sorry to say I gave First Watch another try after being disappointed probably a year and a half ago. I had a gift card and I decided to use it for my second experience. After looking over the menu for 15 min which was way too busy and overwhelming, I decided on a biscuit with turkey sausage gravy, 2 eggs over easy and home fries. The whole meal was terrible. The only thing hot was my coffee which was served in my own table decanter and I appreciated that. My biscuit was hard and had approximately 2 tablespoons of gravy on it which didn't even cover the biscuit. The home fries were hard and very dry on the inside. None of the food was hot. My eggs seemed small, but were ok I guess if you like half warm eggs. I did enjoy my hot coffee and I felt it necessary to order a large orange juice to try and swallow down the horrible breakfast. The orange juice was great, cold and tasted fresh. Maybe their lunch items are better, if you have an extra half hour to read the menu, but that was my second time having breakfast there, so no thank you. I paid with my gift card. 20.13 for breakfast and left the balance of almost 5.00 for a tip. I won't go back... Again, No thank you. B. Ford read more
