First watch is an amazing breakfast and brunch place. The hostess and the waiter were both very friendly and inviting. Our food came very quickly and it was wonderful. The atmosphere is calm and casual and it is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a healthy meal. However they do have some sweeter options like French toast and waffles. I have personally had the AM Superfoods Bowl and the French toast. The superfoods bowl was something I wasn't sure about trying, but I'm so glad I did. It is now one of my all time breakfast meals. I even tried to make it at home - not the same haha. The fruit is super fresh and the granola and chia seeds give it the perfect added crunch. It is also served with their amazing toast covered in peanut butter/almond butter. The French toast is amazing for a sweeter option. It has a delicious taste and is cooked to perfection. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu. The biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, traditional breakfast, it's all amazing! I have had a taste of each from a family members plate. I've been dying to come to First Watch and we decided Christmas Eve brunch sounded like the perfect way to start off our day. I ordered the pork belly bacon and grits while my husband got the club for us to split, and my daughter rounded us off with French toast. We had coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice to drink. To say the food was great, is an understatement. It was amazing. We all shared bites and laughed together. It was an awesome experience. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and constantly check on us consistently. We all agreed that we will be back on a regular basis! Lord have mercy. We have been coming here for Sunday morning breakfast after church for 2 months now. Each visit something else happened to make our time less and less enjoyable, and the last visit was the icing on the cake- the kind that looks like vanilla but tastes like mayonnaise. We waited for 30 minutes to get a table after being told 20. We sat down and after ordering waited an hour and a half for our food. It was not hot, not cooked correctly for some of our guests, but we were starving and couldn't handle waiting any longer. Our drinks remained empty on multiple occasions and our waitress began avoiding us when she realized we were getting antsy. After everything though she did bring everyone coupons for free meals and did not charge us! That's what makes this 3 stars- because even though it was a nightmare, I woke up from it. So who wants my coupon? (Kidding) I'm going to update this every time we go. Today (12/2/18) we decided to use our entitlement- I mean coupon- and had another interesting experience. We waited about 5 minutes to be greeted and we wanted to order our food but our waiter came by the table talking so fast and started walking away before we could even tell him our drinks- he was literally behind us and I had to turn around to say "Diet Coke please." It took a normal amount of time to get our food once we did get to order and he brought extra preserves like I asked. The payment process was normal as well. read more

I met a friend for brunch here yesterday. The restaurant was extremely busy but the atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly while turning tables fairly quickly. I had the pumpkin pancake breakfast, which came with two eggs and a chicken sausage patty as well as a large pumpkin pancake. I drank coffee and it was good. My pancake was so delicious that I didn't want to spoil the flavor with maple syrup. The eggs were fine and the sausage was savory. My friend ate a frittata and it was delicious as well. We had a really nice time and stayed a long time catching up on the past 30 years. Nobody bothered us or gave us the impression they were anxious for us to leave. We were looking for Egg & I and were pleasantly surprised to find the now First Watch. We came on a Monday morning so it's not busy at all and our waiter is really nice and friendly. Love our breakfast - I had the seasonal cinnamon pancake and it was delicious! Hubby had the breakfast taco with chicken chorizo and avocado and that was REALLY YUMMY! I came here with some friends for Saturday brunch. It was super crowded. There was barely room inside the restaurant to stand and wait. The wait was about an hour long. They do offer some complimentary coffee in the front while you wait, so that was nice. They take your phone number, so you're free to walk around the shopping center if you so choose. Once your table is ready, they'll send a text. I ordered the chickichanga. They messed up my order, so it took a while for my food to come out. Due to this, my meal was free. Great customer service I must say! The servers were so nice. The chickichanga, however, I wasn't too pleased with. Despite the long wait, it was still semi-cold. We've given this place several tries, but unfortunately, they just can't seem to be consistent or get the order right. This particular time, instructions to have certain items on the side were ignored, sauce was missing, and despite the fact that we were there to pick up the food before it had come out of the kitchen, all the food that was suppose to be warm was cold. And I don't mean like, room temperature cold, but almost as if it had been cooked and then put into the walk-in cooler for a little while? Which doesn't make any sense, since we had arrived to pick it up at exactly the time the food was suppose to come out. When I asked for them to fix the order they said they were out of some items and instead of telling us ahead of time they tried to give us our order without those items. I really enjoyed brunch here, and give my total experience here 5 stars. While this place does not take reservations, I love that you can join the wait list on the Yelp app, this allows me to see what the wait time is and get updates when I am next to be seated! Even though the place was busy, the Sunday brunch team worked quickly and we had a short wait before our server came to greet us and our food was served. We had the avocado toast which was good, the toast was thick and the avocado piled and I enjoyed my basted egg on the side but there was some flavor lacking and I would have liked more on my plate for the price. The atmosphere was chill and not too loud, so a great place to relax and have a conversation if you wanted to stay a while. When traveling we try to search out local joints. First Watch is part of a small chain but from what I can see, they really try to be local focused and use fresh, healthy ingredients. On our visit, we were seated quickly and our coffee was hot and fresh. On this Sunday morning though, the restaurant filled up so quickly that service sagged a bit. When our food arrived, it tasted great but wasn't as hot as we would have liked but because of how busy they were, we enjoyed it as it. As we were paying our bill, we were asked how everything was and when we mentioned our concern, he immediately insisted on giving us a discount on our check. It wasn't really needed, but appreciated. Loved that our input was asked for and sincere concern addressed the issue. I'd eat here again as the menu has a great variety of healthy options not available in most breakfast places. read more

The good : best waffle I've had in a long time ... crisp and fluffy with a really good berry preserves served with it. I visited a location while in Panama City and loved it. This is the first chance I've had to visit a location at home. I wasn't disappointed. We arrived early, which was great because we were able to be seated immediately. Our server was very nice and gave honest opinions about the menu. I ordered the Trifecta with chicken sausage and a side of cheese grits. Everything was yummy and prepared the way I requested. The portions were large and I was full when I finished, but not stuffed. The servers sat all at once instead of being calm and coming to table one by one the servers are frantic . Me and my daughter woke up extra early to have this breakfast date now gone wrong my server.the food is not even that good absolutely overpriced. My husband and I both had the iced coffee and it was honestly the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the short rib omelette and I ordered the chickichanga. Both meals were so packed with flavor, perfectly portioned and so incredibly good, I was scraping the sauce off my plate.
