My sons and I have visited this location a couple of times now, and each visit has been a really good experience. On Easter, I called ahead to make sure they were open, and the employee who answered was so warm and inviting. She said, "We'd love to serve you. Come on in." That kind of energy makes all the difference. When we arrived, we were seated right away. Our server, Caden, took great care of us from start to finish and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The food came out hot and delicious. I ordered the fiesta lime chicken, and wow... the flavor was spot on. Perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of cheesy goodness. We also took advantage of the 2 for $25 deal, which includes an appetizer. We chose the spinach artichoke dip with chips and it did not disappoint. So good. Had an early dinner on yesterday. "Rocky" was great! Definitely a 1-man show. He seats people, takes orders, delivers food to table and take out and curb side, bartends, and folks I wouldn't doubt that he stops by the kitchen to cook the food too. We had a really fun time at Applebee's last night. We sat at the bar and came for drinks and appetizers. The fun holiday drinks were only 5 dollars and were yummy. I got the brew pub pretzels. They were really good with a good dip! I tried my friend's onion rings and they were perfectly cooked, tasted good and were served with bbq sauce to dip which I had never had with onion rings before but I definitely liked! Let's start with the pros. This restaurant is still taking COVID-19 precautions. You must wear a mask to enter. They are actually spacing out patrons so we were definitely at least 6 feet or more from other customers. Our server was very nice. The $5.00 drink special I ordered was really big so I definitely got my money's worth. The cons. My husband was the only one who enjoyed his entire meal, which was fish and chips (fries). I had a chicken and broccoli Alfredo that just wasn't great. There wasn't enough sauce on my food. The broccoli was bland. My oldest son had steak. He liked the steak, but his broccoli wasn't good either. My younger son had a cheeseburger. He said it was alright. They also forgot my youngest son's side of yogurt, but they did eventually bring it out. I'm a foodie so I want to eat good food when I go out. The food wasn't bad, but it just wasn't good either. Came here for dinner on NYE around 930pm. There were open tables but many needed cleaning. My sis and I were seated promptly. We waited at least 15-20 minutes, no one came. Finally a manager walked by and took our drink orders. We ordered a cocktail that was on special and waters. She said our waitress would be around soon. Natalie (our waitress) arrived at our table at 10:01pm. I looked at the clock. We both ordered chicken quesadillas and I ordered thre AYCE special, with riblets! After about another 15-20 mins, the quesadillas and cocktails came. We were pleased. I only ate two, because my plan was to mostly eat my AYCE entree. We waited... the people behind us got their apps and entree even though they'd been seated AFTER us. (Same waitress and section). I was heated and hungry! Also, I could see Natalie dealing with a large group that was clearly stressing her. I didn't say anything, the manager came by at 10:50pm and saw the grief on my face and asked if I'd gotten my food. Uhhhh no! She then said she'd take care of us when the check comes. Natalie came over soon after to apologize and say that the entree was otw. I was so annoyed! She asked if I wanted her to go ahead and enter a refill... I said yes since it all taking so long. Of course, yes! My food came out after 11pm. The main plate looked great. The refill plates were filled with fries but only 5 shrimp and 5 dry boneless wings (facepalm). I ate half my main plate and asked for go boxes. When the check came, they charged for two AYCE specials when we only ordered one, then after the manager said she'd take care of it, she only comp'd $5 off the bill. I still felt like she should've taken care of the entree since that caused the hassle. They removed the extra entree. All in all, Natalie was pleasant-tempered, but her non-verbal communication was not forgiving. I tried to remain pleasant since I knew she was stressed from the other table. The main entree and apps were good but those refills looked horrible and tasted mediocre. Today here at Applebees was a huge disappointment this location is clearly not the same as it use too be. Me, and a few friends decided to come here for lunch and one of my friends ended up ordering the Bahama drink and it turned out to be not so good of a drink. I know that every restaurant is different and some places add more liquor in drinks than others but you should not end up tasting more juice than liquor in any drink and to make things worse that the server acted like he wasn't even trying to solve the problem, or make the situation better. To me it seemed like our server had a careless attitude. The wait was horrid; 30 minutes waiting for an unusually slow night? Check. The host stating he would text when the table is ready but instead call. People, I don't answer unexpected unknown numbers due to scammers so if I didn't have my caller ID on fortunately, I would have missed my party's table call. Annoying. After getting to the host, my party and I were seated in the coldest area of the restaurant under the AC unit. It was 45 degrees at night and the AC is on... Re-read that last sentence. Yeah. We wait for waiter which took about 5-10 minutes and he takes our drink orders. We all order adult beverages but a good waiter normally offer water to be safe and courteous. Now we wait... And wait... And wait... Turns out the GM and waiters are talking near the bar only discussing heaven knows what. After 15-20 minutes of just waiting, our waiter comes back ready to take our order. We place orders which included 2 appetizers. After waiting forever (10-15 minutes), we get a different server temporarily to serve us chicken wonton tacos. He then leaves and gives our pretzel bread sticks to another party... This pretty much tee'd off the table. Our original waiter comes back and I inform him that our second app was given away. The only positive experience was the bartender. She was friendly and attentive for the most part. Other than that, the food came out cold and stale. My fries were cold and my chips were stale. The burger quesadilla looked nothing like the picture and was just ok. I requested that the artichoke dip be comped. The bartender gladly obliged. My parents and I go to this location about once every month. Gradually, the service has declined and so has the food. Our server this time (and last time) was quite incompetent. We all ordered side salads and they never came. Both my parents' meals came out, and my food finally showed up 10 minutes later after I asked the manager for my food. When I got my salmon, my parents were already done eating, and I was so hungry that I dug in. After the first bite I noticed it was "extra fishy" and when I looked down I saw that it was "extra raw". At this point the manager was called again and took the salmon back, and I told him just to make a new one Togo. Overall, they need to get it together.
