What a disappointment they took 1/2 piece of gluten-free bread and divided between the two eggs which hardly gave any bread at all because gluten-free bread typically is smaller than regular bread..They could've at least used one slice per egg. otherwise the food was decent, but I can make my own eggs Benedict for a third of the price at home. read more

I was in town to spend time with my Girlfriend and her family and me decided to come here for breakfast. This was my first time. It's a healthy twist with friendly service. Its comfortably decorated like you are at home, with complimentary coffee as you wait to be seated. I had the chorizo omelet. It was honestly not quite what I was expecting. The best way to describe it, as a healthy twist with a chorizo influence. All in all, however, it was a very flavorful and healthy tasting breakfast. I enjoy this breakfast spot, stopped in with a friend, perfect place to chat over nice breakfast. Coffee is descent nothing amazing. Their breakfast however is delicious. I ordered the avocado toast and their million dollar bacon which is amazing. The avocado toast was given a very generous portion of avocado. My friend ordered the Parma skillet hash which was also delicious. They have outside patio available for seating as well. Good customer service and nice atmosphere. Haven't been it awhile due to the lines and popularity of the restaurant now. I decided to give it a shot due to my bday coupon bogo. Made a wait in line reservation at 10:30 saying 45-1 hour wait. Okay cool, stopped and got gas then arrived at 11:15 (45 min from reservation). Check in and told top of list maybe 15 minutes. No, another 45 minutes. Waitress was friendly but ran out of coffee and food was good yet warm-wonder how long it sat before it was brought to us. Great food and packed. Not sure if we'll be back. If you have reservations or wait in line app -Please use it correctly. Made us wonder if the young gentleman doing reservation was playing or sitting people he knew because the family spoke as if they didn't have a reservation but were sat within 15 minutes of arriving. I love this place. We live about 25 minutes away but it's worth the drive for some healthier options. My husband doesn't eat as healthy as I do but he really enjoys eating here. Arrived around 10:00am. We were seated immediately. Unfortunately we had to wait around 10 minutes before the server came over and said she would be with us shortly. What I found surprising is there were several food runners handling tables around us and not one came over and offered to bring us water or any coffee. My family and I came in for a late brunch today. The hostess was not friendly, did not greet us and did not smile. I shrugged it off as someone having a bad day. The service was ok, could have been faster, but I felt like it was ok overall. When I was checking out, I noticed that the same hostess that had helped out earlier was pleasant and chit chatting it up to the elderly white couple in front of me. When it came time for me to pay, she didn't say one word to me, took my receipt, didn't make eye contact and proceeded to ring me up. She did say one thing was whether or not I wanted a receipt. Seriously??? Where was the cheery and amiable hostess that was having a pleasant conversation with the elderly couple?? As someone who is a minority, this sent me a hostile vibe. Was I treated differently because I was Asian? Was I treated differently because I was in yoga pants? Because I was overweight? Who knows?? I know I felt like I was treated as a second class citizen. I told the hostess that she needed to be nicer and as someone who has worked in food service in the past, she should treat people the same. She had the audacity to look outraged. I did leave but walked back in because I wanted to talk to her manager. She saw me walk in and proceeded to avoid me by walking to the back of the restaurant. I had it and lost my temper and yes I did yell at her to get the manager. By the time I spoke to the manager, I was in full blown rage. While I was explaining to the manager the situation and my point of view, I ended up calling the hostess a name. I did apologize for this to the manager. I will never come back to this restaurant again. The experience that I had here made me feel like I was no better than dirt. No one should be made to feel like they are less of a person because of how they look. They need to train their employees to be better. read more

I have a very sweet person that's been a friend of mine for 20 years she got out of surgery this morning she had to stay at the facility overnight she was was called NPO nothing by mouth during surgery and before the surgery. After I picked her up from the facility she told me she was hungry and I completely understand because she hadn't had anything to eat since the day before the surgery because you don't want to have a full stomach when they put you under general anesthesia it's called being NPO. She asked me if I would go over to first watch and get her a BLT sandwich you would not think comes with eggs and you would not think that it comes with spinach. I wouldn't think that it would come with cheese either why can't they make it the way they are normally made ? I took them home and my dear friend could not eat it because it had all of this thick layer of bullshit cheese had a shit load of scrambled eggs on it. Who won the hell thinks about scrambled eggs being on a BLT ? So I dropped them back off at first watch. They made two more of them for me exactly the way I wanted them but they had to put cheese on the crap. The two new sandwiches do you know where they're at they're in the fucking parking lot scattered all over the place. Their email address is. Ordered online and realized we did not put the pick up time I needed. Immediately, I tried to call the establishment thinking it shouldn't be hard to ask to push the order back 15 minutes. Unfortunately, when I asked, I was told that I needed to cancel the order, and re-do the whole order. As I was online and still with them on the phone trying to figure out to cancel the order, they stated it is in my email. Believing the staff member that helped me, I hung up, checked my email and there was no way to cancel my order. Within the email at the bottom though, it states: "For order issues, please contact UNION HILLS at (623) 561-0555", which I did and my issue was not addressed. I have never thought just trying to push an order by 15 minutes would cause such an issue. Though the ordering on my end was wrong, not being able to help your customer for an honest mistake is not right. It should not be hard to request such a small change. read more

Been coming here for some time now. Started before they merged into the First Watch brand. Always have good time and good food here. Waitresses are always helpful and smiles. Chickichanga is usually what I get. Eggs, chicken, chorizo, green chillies, cheddar, Monterey jack, onions and avocado in a tortilla with a side of seasoned potatoes. Today's taste is Carbonara Benedict. Poached eggs, parmesan crusted ciabatta, this bacon, arugula, parmesan, black pepper, chives with mixed greens. Nice mild tastes. Not over the top and just right. I took some time to myself this week and wanted to go out for breakfast- the first place was horrible so i left and came to first watch- several years back i actually did my real estate school in the same parking lot.. & recently was reminded of this kind and inviting place. With a fantastic staff i was immediately greeted at the door and seated - my server Gabrielle was kind warning and immediately offered me coffee water or a mimosa ! She kinda changed my morning - good service and kind people are hard to come by this day and age- now i don't eat meat or eggs so my options where limited but she wasn't the cook- she was patient - kind - and took her time with all of the patrons she served. Plant-based foodie review Service- 10/10 Debra was absolutely wonderful! Upon walking in she greeted me with a smile beneath the mask. Since I don't eat any animal or their by products for health and compassionate reasons I asked for a crazy order...... $20 worth of kale tonics! Debra was able to fill my request with a pleasant demeanor. I really do hope in the future, I will be able to order something more than just the kale tonic. For now I appreciate the Juice option. It would be really cool if this restaurant carried some vegan cheeses, vegan sausage and even Justegg. Us Vegans love to eat to and we would love to support this local restaurant. Thank you Brooke for us seating us quickly! We did not get the name of the lady who was our waitress, which is always a bummer. I like to know and address our servers by their names; she appeared fairly busy so that could be a reason. My food is always great; however this time the season fruit was really sad. 1 pineapple, 2 honey dew and a grape. Wow. I would have preferred the response was we have no fruit vs what I received. For a GF option the frittata is a great choice and would recommend. The others all enjoyed their food as well. We love the farmhouse look and seating. It's open concept and this time we sat in the last booth near the restroom, which was also a good spot to see everything! I will say it was rather odd to enter the bathroom and find a woman brushing her teeth and washing her face etc at the sink. Maybe she was preparing for her shift, maybe a drifter but certainly was not in the restaurant from what I could tell. We will make our way back as this is an easy go to breakfast place. This place is a local favorite, especially on Sunday's! Be prepared for a wait (unless you get in line on their app), but a wait that is worth it! Their menu is extensive and has some great healthy options. Their juices are divine, but maybe a little too much ice. My favorite is the elevated egg sandwich, or the chia seed coconut milk pudding and toast. The menu is well priced, every dish we have ever gotten has been delicious, and the servers are excellent. Worth the wait if there is one. I came with my wife and son. They told us a 45 min wait, it was about 30 minutes and one of the hostess' saw we had been there for a while and made sure to seat us asap! Food is always fresh and high quality.
