The food came out quickly and as ordered. It was a good breakfast. First Watch is pretty consistent no matter which location you visit.

We went to the South College location for breakfast. We arrived around 9:30am on a Saturday morning and were seated right away. This place is so cozy, clean, and has a great vibe! The service was great; our waitress was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious! We ordered the Tri-fecta with a blueberry pancake, the chile chorizo omelette, and a side of seasoned potatoes. Great experience! We will definitely return and recommend

Today we went in here with our toddler and our baby for breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. But while we were there our baby had a blow out. His little onesie was a hot mess so I just threw it away. (There was a dedicated garbage can so I felt okay doing that). On my way out a waitress saw him and said she had an 11 month old and she felt my pain. I laughed and told her his onesie was now in the trash. She laughed too, but a few minutes later she stopped by our table and GAVE US A NEW ONESIE! I was shocked! It was such a kind gesture! Best service I think I've ever had.

    Crispy Breakfast Rice

The crispy rice breakfast square turned out to be one of those dishes that looks simple on the menu but makes a strong impression once it hits the table. The rice is seared until it forms a thin, golden crust--crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and sturdy enough to hold everything without falling apart. It's a clever base, and honestly the thing that lingered with me the most. The avocado is sliced into a neat fan and gives a cool, clean contrast to the warmth of the rice. The drizzle of Kewpie adds just enough richness without turning the whole thing heavy. The soft-scrambled eggs are done right--creamy, not runny, and not the usual overcooked rubber you get at too many breakfast spots. A spoonful of chili crisp on top brings a little heat and a little crunch, tying everything together. The whole dish feels thoughtful but not pretentious. It's comforting, a little playful, and something I'd come back for, especially if I wanted a breakfast that feels lighter but still satisfying. It's the kind of item that could easily become a signature without shouting for attention.

Outside is a bit hidden and a bit of construction going on next door, but nice and clean once you get inside. Ample parking available. Waitress also seated us and was amazing! Happy, smiling, friendly and really took care of us. Had the Works omelette and the biscuits and gravy. Both were outstanding, well seasoned and filled us up, which is no small feat! Highly recommend for breakfast and a reasonable price.

This was my first time in since first watch bought out egg and I. Egg and I used to be my husband and my breakfast spot for Sunday morning any time he was in town that is what we did. we were both incredibly sad when it was no longer egg and I. their menu changed a lot. My husband went one time after the change over and he didn't enjoy it so we never went together. This morning i was trying to go to breakfast at urban egg with my son. He finally had a couple of hours off. We were really sad that urban egg was not open but was happy this place was open. I called to see if we could make a reservation. They said it was slow at that point but i could make a reservation by going to their website and making one that way. I didn't want to do that. If I could have made one on yelp i would have. But its okay. we got there and we were seated right away. The service was friendly. out waitress was very peppy and happy. They have a few gluten free options, but if you are vegan its a little tougher. i ordered a "kale cooler" juice. you can either get with ice or no ice, not light ice like i used to order. Then i put together a breakfast for myself. I ordered the vegetables that they have sauteed - mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and a few other things that i can't remember. Had them mixed with their potoatoes. It is similar to what I used to order all the time at egg and I. But back in those days the staff knew us and they knew what i wanted. The food was good however and came up in a decent amount of time. You can't send your payment with the waitress. You have to go and stand in line to pay at the front desk. The line to pay was a little long today and took awhile to get through. not sure if somone was having a problem on payment? training? or if it just usually takes awhile to check out.

A great place for breakfast. I'm sure lunch is good as well. Clean dining room. Great service ever FW I've been to and we have been to at least 5 different locations. All have been top notch I love the million $ bacon. I Love the lemon ricotta pancakes, I love the juices. Well I love everything and the COFFEE is good. Has taste and flavor. I hate restaurants coffee that is colored water/ no flavor but that's one thing I know about FW. Good coffee. Good coffee is important to me.

Needed some grub so my niece brought us here. I was debating on lunch or breakfast but the chorizo green Chile omelette caught my attention. It was good but basically all green Chile and onions. No cheese. Not sure I saw any chorizo in it. Lots of avocado inside. The toast was delicious but the side of greens was just that. Just greens, no dressing. My son got the barbacoa Benedict quesadilla and it was fabulous. I think a crispy tortilla taco shell would have been better than a quesadilla but it was still yummy. The sauce had amazing flavor. My niece enjoyed her bowl and enjoyed every last bite.

They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.

Melt in your mouth! One of our party likes cuts of meat on the pink side, the other prefers more well done cuts. Off Kelly went with our plates, returning having divided them into two and having the beef done perfectly for both of us. Get some extra BBQ sauce/gravy with it. Perfection. Mashed potatoes were also quite good. We were stuffed. I would go back in a heartbeat. Yum. We started with a beer for my husband and a mocktail for me. The mocktail (blueberry lemonade) was simply not worth the $7 price tag. Mostly ice - filled to the literal rim of the glass. So full when I took one of my first sips, ice fell to the floor. There was just a splash of ginger beer; it could've used more but, alas, no room with all that ice! When I mentioned it to the server, she explained that's how they make them. She offered to bring me another, but it seemed clear she meant I'd be paying for it. No thank you. Next, my food. I tried the salmon burger (new to the menu, I'm told) which is actually a salmon croquette on a bun with some lettuce and vinaigrette. It's HUGE and not in a good way. The first few bites were okay, and I thought the heavily breaded effect was due to biting into the edge. As I continued eating, though, most bites felt like a mouthful of bread. I can only hope there was minced salmon in it, but the ratio was so heavy on breadcrumbs that I couldn't detect it. Not the slightest hint of pink on the inside either. I ate about 1/2, my hungry hub finished it. The flaws of the salmon burger didn't seem worth pointing out to the server after the response I got with the drink. Later, as we walked around downtown, I felt like I had a lead sandwich in my stomach. My husband had a better experience than I. His bison burger came out great. No complaints. Unfortunately for me, I think I'll just have to order very specific things when coming here now. Austin's has sentimental value for me - it's the first place we dined after moving here 27 years ago. Because of that, I keep giving them second chances after they fall short. I just wish they'd return to the days of "you can't go wrong", everything is awesome.
