Good place for a quick bite. We stopped for brunch on our first trip to Fort Myers. I had the Frittata Rustica which I liked a lot! My husband ordered the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Our kids got the pancakes for the adult menu and they couldn't stop eating them! The coffee could have been better, but overall the food was great, and the place was clean. If you just want ham and eggs, don't go here. The menu is so interesting. I had a hard time choosing and the next time we're in the area we will definitely have to go back probably more than once. I enjoy their food, their atmosphere, and their service. But I will say the portions are pretty small for what you're paying. If this is one of the only options near you then definitely give it a shot. Parking lot is really small and it gets really crowded on weekends, I wouldn't wait longer than 10 mins for this spot though personally. read more

Most first watch restaurant's are decent but I stopped in to this Bonita Springs location and it was really bad. The food was really dry and tasteless. The potatoes were still under cooked and crunchy. The dish need a sauce of sorts. Our waitress was friendly and tried to get me a new order of potatoes but of course they were the same. Always consistent dining for us! The only issue is if you don't get here early enough the wait time can be an hour! We live close by and when it's an hour wait we go somewhere else. Not our first time at First Watch but our first time at this location. We thankfully got in right before the brunch rush! We normally order off the regular menu but decided to try some of the specials this time around and we were NOT disappointed! I had the watermelon wake up which, true to name, woke me up with its cool refreshing flavor! My dad and I both ordered the elote corn hash which was AMAZING; everything cooked to perfection and totally delicious! My mom ordered the banana foster french toast (which I'd debated ordering) and absolutely LOVED it! Super sweet and tasty, tasted just like banana foster! Our waitress Julia was super attentive and sweet too; she checked up on us often and also recommended my mom order a more savory side to balance the sweetness of the french toast with which was a great idea (and remedied by a side of their delicious bacon)! First Watch in For myers has never been a hit and miss restraunt. We can now say that after trying both of their locations, off of Cleveland Dr and the newer one in Gulf Coast that we literally watch build. I had deliberately waited to write this, one, because we hadn't went yet and two, i wanted to hit them both within a reasonable timetable. Fulfilling these just recently, I am so happy to write what everyone else already knows. This place is delicious. That you already know. So how about the Service?... its ok to be honest. Cheery isn't the word I'd use. Tired, kinda groggy but friendly is how id describe it. No one here has woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Which is great for a place that opens at 7:00 am. If pancakes for lunch are wrong, I don't want to be right! Looking for some late morning grub, and this chain fit the bill. My wife wanted breakfast and was happy with the blueberry pancakes which were served with scrambled eggs and thick cut bacon. She started it, but I got the job done, so I got to taste it, and corroborate her story. I was more in it for the lunch menu and had their "two for you" combo. The grilled veggie sandwich was great and I asked for it on sourdough. My other choice was the chicken pecan Dijon salad. I enjoyed it but the dressing was applied a bit too liberally, and not for those squeamish about the pungency of mustard. Price was in line with food quality and quantity, but they lost a star due to an overly long wait to get our food. First time at this place and a bit shocked at my bill for what we we ordered. 2 orders of eggs benedict came with no sides but a handful of raw greens and sitting on top of 1 piece of bread and few pieces of meat. I really like this place. Mom and I have eaten here twice, and each time we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Mom likes to order the half sandwich with the soup. The bread is fresh and chunky, with plenty of meats and lettuce. Very filling. I can't remember what I ordered the first time, but it was good enough for me to want to return. This last time I had the skillet, and it was filling and delicious. And, again, the bread was wonderful. I just wish the servers were a little more enthusiastic. The service was barely okay. Crayon in our food! My wife wore a Trump T-shirt in to your restaurant this morning. When she got her food there was a Blue Crayon in her salad(Blue as in the color of the Democratic Party). We reported this to manage who did non-sincerely apologize and removed the food from our ticket. The apology was very cold and without any emotion. We are new to the area so didn't realize this is a multi-location spot until afterwards. The food was so fresh-tasting, I wouldn't have expected it. Creative, healthy options (fresh juices, avocado toast, breakfast bowls), alongside chocolate chip pancakes. The omelettes come with a delicious multigrain toast which tastes homemade and lightly dressed mixed greens (or potatoes).
