Love this brunch place! Gets busy sometimes and requires wait time but it's worth it! Recommend

Ate here yesterday for breakfast and everything was fantastic! I will definitely visit again to try their other menu options!

This was not my first time coming to this restaurant. I have been here several times and the food was always good and my fiancee loves to eat breakfast here. I stay within walking distance of this restaurant but with the current Covid situation my family and I have not visited. Today we said let's order from First Watch via Door Dash. The food arrived in a timely manner but it was stone cold. I was so disappointed and upset, how can the food be so cold when we live less than 5 minutes away. Not sure if it's Door Dash fault or First Watch for preparing the food to early also the pancakes were dry, hard and tough. Not sure if I want to eat here again. read more

First time at this location. The service was okay. Our waitress did NOT return to our table to check on us until we stopped her after she passed us several times. We only wanted napkins and clean silverware. My spoon has a full dried egg. My friend's fork was dirty. My "The Works" omelet was the worst I've ever had at First Watch. Overcooked hard eggs, mostly large chunks of mushroom buttons inside. Definitely not the usual. We will probably skip this location next time we're in Columbus. This place is very racist. Our waiter served 5 non black people that came in after us. We sat there for 1hr and 30mins on top of us having to wait a hour to be seated. Even after I complained.. there was not much done about the situation other than complimentary drinks. Then when I went to pay they checked out a caucasian woman before they check me out and I was already standing there waiting to check out. If your non black you will be fine. But go at your own risk. The service is horrible and racist! This was the last time. They apologize for the bad experience and then came with another bad experience... done with this place. You can never go wrong with First Watch, first time I had it was in FL, and I recently moved to Columbus and found out that there was one here and had to try it! Service was great and the food was delicious. For me the wait time has not been bad but I do know that it can get really busy but definitely worth it. read more

This restaurant used to be my favorite go-to for breakfast or brunch. I have visited twice in several weeks and come away disappointed. The coffee is bland and merely colored hot water, and our food arrived to the table cold and flavorless. It was like eating hospital food! I'm done with chains and taking my business back to the small neighborhood diners. read more

Place was PACKED on a Sat morn. Had biscuits & gravy (potatoes were delicious) & banana granola crunch pancake was a treat! My little guy enjoyed his pancake & sausage from kids menu. Place had a cool vibe, but service could have been a little friendlier & quicker. They do offer a small military discount. read more

First time to Columbus to have a family day with my son that is in the military and in our last day we decided to eat at "First watch", food was edible but by far not on our top 100 list for sure. Eggs were not cooked all the way and service was slow. Bread was great and the two stars is only for the "million dollar bacon" which was the best thing we ate. I wouldn't waste another $100 bucks here for breakfast. Would have been better off cooking at the Air BNB. Don't waste your time! Go to Smokey Bones place was awesome! read more

This is one of the few times that looking at the menu found me thinking, "This is going to be a good breakfast!", and I was right. My wife and I had fresh...everything for breakfast. The Orange Juice tasted freshly squeezed, the BREAD was unbelievable. To show you how conscientious they were about the pandemic, they had a mission statement in front of the restaurant. When we got paper menus, we ordered, they then discarded them. All the wait staff and the supervisor had masks and gloves. If I lived in Columbus, I'd be a regular. Had a simple Friday 9:00 AM breakfast. No waiting. Server was quick getting our drink order and food order. The works omelette and an order of grits and butter for me. French toast and cheese grits for my friend. Specifically ask her to be sure the grits were hot enough to melt the butter. The omelette was overdone and barely warm and the grits were just warm, no where near hot. My friend asked the server to heat up mine and my friends since it wasn't hot and the server was willing. The menu has something for everyone. Pancakes and waffles are super fluffy. The staff is friendly and I've enjoyed every dish I've tried.

Had a party of 6 and half ordered breakfast and the other half got lunch. Everyone liked their meals. They were unique, healthy and good sized portions. The server wasn't very attentive, we ran out of water multiple times. And had to finally ask another server to bring our checks. The don't have Coke Zero. read more

This is probably the healthiest breakfast/lunch spot you can find here in Columbus and this is my go to spot. They have better ingredients compared to other places here and fresh greens and fruits. Everything is just more fresh! FYI - it gets pretty busy here in the mornings on weekends. I ordered a few things here for breakfast and lunch. Their breakfast plate, juice blends, avocado toasts, quinoa bowls and sandwiches and so far I liked everything. You don't really find any breakfast spots like this here in Columbus. You see Waffle house in every corner and mostly Southern inspired breakfast spots. You see restaurants like First Watch more in bigger cities so I'm glad they are located in Columbus. read more

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! Hubby and I desired to eat something healthy for brunch that wouldn't make us feel weighed down or sleepy. Didn't feel like cookingso we googled "healthy eats locally" and Thank Goodness we were led to First Watch. Meal and drink choices, staff kindness, and cleanliness were all 5 STAR! UPDATE: I added a star...not because I went there again, but because the management took the time to contact me privately about my concerns and even offered a complimentary meal to give them another chance. Unfortunately, I won't be back in the area for a while to take them up on that, but it's worth something to me when a restaurant cares enough to ask their critics to better themselves! Came in on a Saturday morning and it was quite busy but we decided to wait about 30 minutes to get seated. When we got to our table our water glasses had sticky jam on the rim and the utensils had food stuck to them still. Even when we asked for another set, they were still dirty. Ended up washing it ourselves with the water and napkins provided. We were seated at 11:53am--it's now 12:55 and we are still waiting for our food. There's no good reason to wait over an hour for pancakes and eggs. Within that hour, the waitress stopped by around 2 times. Food may be good, but not worth the wait at all. Not to mention, the dirty dishes. When the food came out, it was lukewarm and worst part--the pancake was NOT COOKED ALL THE WAY. Unbelievable. read more

Great breakfast cafe with many menu options from healthy to the full southern biscuits and gravy, even grits. Each menu item has the ability to be altered to suit any special needs. Staff are eager to help and each one has their own favorite. DO NOT ORDER TO GO FROM THIS PLACE WITHOUT CHECKING EVERYTHING. Paid 26 dollars for an egg white omlet and biscuits and gravy. As you can see I got the egg whites and a box of tomatoes to go? Best part of to go is not having to wait for food. Worst part...driving back home to find a meal down....very disappointed...even with the "fresh preserves"..which is a pack of smuckrrs. C'mon man! I have been here several times. I must start out by saying the waitress our waiter depending is always phenomenal. I have never had bad food or a mistaken order over the past two years. Those are the pros. Now for the con. The price is very steep for the establishment being considered a breakfast brunch themed restaurant. Now the food you receive is very good quality food but I do believe the price to profit ratio could be closed a hair.
