Less than stellar visit, which was surprising, given visits to other First Watch locations. Quality of the food was great, but the ambiance and service was a bit odd. Stopped in with a friend early on a Sunday, door was opened for us by one of the employees, and a big friendly welcome. Looked promising. Hostess wanted my friend's name and phone number, as if we needed to be put on a waiting list. Place wasn't even half full, and apparently she was going to make us wait, because the server that opened the door told her, "that's ok, I'll seat them", and he was the one to take us to our table. Not sure if he was a server, or a busser. No greeting after he greeted us, hostess didn't even look up from her papers when talking to us. Service was slower that other First Watch places, and the server had to be reminded about drinks ordered. Overall, watching other tables being served, the vibe was off from other locations - not a lot of smiling or movement with purpose - got the impression that most could've cared less if we were there or not. Don't expect my butt kissed, but at least would like to feel welcome. Pay at the table wasn't an option, and the server only got motivated when she dropped off a QR comment card, and basically fished for a good rating, as "we're having a competition, and my birthday's coming up". Weird. First time I've been solicited for compliments like that. When we left, 2-3 employees at the hostess station, ignored us again, no, "thanks", "come again", "have a nice day", don't even think they noticed us leaving. I was embarrassed to have recommended this as our breakfast stop, my friend agreed the food and coffee was good, but the whole experience put this in the "never again visit" category. read more

This is a great fast paced family breakfast/brunch spot. Highly recommend the omelette or waffles.

Had the godfather bowl, which had great polenta, sausages and arugula. Classic breakfast was also good, and you are given your own pitcher for coffee! Wait staff was very friendly. The only con is the whipped butter- I hate that stuff. But you can buy the real maple syrup, so happy about that read more

Great place to have a nice country breakfast. Excellent coffee and service. Reasonable price.

Enjoyed the 5-star food and amazing service on 6/23/26. Sorry I don't remember the wonderful blonde waitress' name. She was GREAT! We mentioned to the manager, she should be a trainer. read more

Arrived, was seated immediately, which I was excited about since we live here in a college town and the wait time is always very long because they're so busy. We sat 15 min and no one greeted us. I counted 7 waitresses walking around and other people getting tended to that arrived after us. It was not busy . Several waitress walked past us and we made eye contact with them. trying to get their attention. They never attended us. We left . I told the three host that were standing up front gossiping as I was walking out the door. read more

Good server, very friendly and great personality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Sydnee.

Maci was great fantastic service terrific food very kind and considerate thanks will return.

Maci was great terrific service very friendly and kind. Terrific great atmosphere. Thanks

Service was slow, food was cold, the coffee was old and the table was sticky even after we asked the server to wipe it down.

Perfect breakfast/lunch spot right off the main drag near campus. Large parking lot, spacious inside seating and the staff was super friendly. My favorite part was the menu, lots of options across the board from healthy chia seed puddings to a burger. I got the chia pudding bowl with their homemade granola, fresh fruit, and almond butter toast which was all yummy. A little pricey for what you get but enjoyed my meal overall. Their drink menu was great too. I chose a fresh juice which was delicious! read more

Totally impressed by the menu inviting soo many vegetarian and healthy food options! Multi grain pancakes, power bowls, salads, brown rice burgers, mixed juices, you name it. The morning meditation drink with ginger and turmeric was so refreshing and veggie burger with side mixed greens was delicious. Our server was friendly, helpful and quick. Totally recommend this cute spot if you are around the College Station area. read more

Can't wait to visit here again! Food was phenomenal! Try the million dollar bacon!! Doesn't cost a million dollars but it sure tastes like it! My husband had the traditional breakfast and enjoyed every bite!! I also liked the hash I ordered! The preserves were delicious!! Good coffee! Great food. Excellent service. Bathrooms were a slight issue but they made accomodations! My husband cut himself on the seat and they brought him a bandaid. read more

This is honestly the best breakfast place around. I ordered the Chickichanga, which was really good. Our hostess and waitress were both really nice. And I also like the vibe in here. It feels like home. If you are looking for a great breakfast spot, check out First Watch! read more

The million dollar bacon was okay, but probably the best you can find in the area. Have not tried specialty coffee so cannot tell, the refill coffee was okay. I in general don't think there is much you can tell about the usual coffee. I love the first watch for the interior, service and how things are run. These probably would be the things I would return for. read more

I joined the waitlist online. It said 45-50 minutes. So when we got here the guy at the front desk said 45 min. I reiterated I joined the waitlist online list 35 minutes ago and it said 45-50 minutes at that time. He says the time doesn't start until we get here! I asked him why is there an online waitlist at all, It literally says on the chalkboard "no one likes to wait- download FirstWatch app". I double checked with another guy he said yes another 40 minutes or so! We only have a party of 4 not like we're a big party or anything. read more

We had a wonderful experience here! Our server was Madelyn, and she was fantastic! She was so courteous and took such great care of us! The food was really good, as always, and I love the Morning Meditation drink. The restaurant seemed to be well managed and things appeared to be running smoothly, making if feel like a very comfortable experience. We also appreciated the manager stopping by to make sure we were pleased with everything. We'd go back in a heartbeat! read more

This is relaxed and cool Brunch place that is known for its fresh and seasonal flavors. Expect some waiting on Sunday as it is a go to for many students. The service is super friendly and well organized. Selected their Baja Turkey Burger a lean white meat turkey with avocado, some house made pico de gallo and mayo with a brioche. This is an epic place! read more

I'd like everyone to know that this was genuinely the worst thing to ever happen to me. I am incredibly hungover and decided to Uber Eats breakfast as a treat. I think they fried the bacon in complete salt and the tears of their workers. My boyfriend's eggs were raw. There was no toast. It was just bread. Are we birds? Please help us. Heartbroken. read more

Decided to give this place a try today. Being new to the area; I'm going at a slow and deliberate pace through all the eateries in the BCS area. Upon arriving, I saw a fairly busy dining room filled with smells of delicious food. I waited about 2-3 minutes before someone helped me, and again, they were a bit busy. I chose the turkey burger, thinking it was a regular turkey sandwich. And as a side, I chose the tomato bisque. I then waited about 15 minutes for my to-go order; which was fine as it gave me a chance to catch up on work emails. When I got to work, I found the sandwich, not a regular turkey sandwich but a turkey burger, and soup were both still hot. However, there were no napkins or plastic ware. The turkey burger was flavorful and delicious, as was the soup. The lady who helped me at the restaurant was both polite and helpful. However, she missed those tiny details, which are so important. Plus, I think she was training someone new, so double yikes for not paying attention to detail. Anyways, I'll definitely be back. Their breakfast menu looked amazing, and I'll probably dine in next time. Hopefully, whoever waits on me has that attention for detail! read more

Ate here for the first time with my wife. We ordered the elevated egg sandwich and brisket corned beef hash. The dishes were both delicious and flavorful. We also ordered the Kale Tonic drink and it was surprisingly delicious and refreshing. We will definitely be back. Overall, cheap prices for a good amount of quality food. Our server, Alicia was awesome and helpful. She recommended our dishes and drink and they were on point. The parking lot is large and they have a lot of seating area. read more

I've been wanting to visit this place due to the delicious-looking menu, and I have to say, the food was definitely good. However, I'm subtracting a star due to the service we received. The drinks we ordered were the Morning Meditation Fresh Juice, Kale Tonic Fresh Juice, and Purple Haze. Out of the three, the Purple Haze left a great impression from the start. The taste of lavender was surprisingly great. However, it became very sweet quickly. The next juice that left a great impression was the Morning Meditation Fresh Juice. The different layers provide different flavors, but when combined, it tastes really great--it isn't too sweet but it's flavorful. Last is the Kale Tonic Fresh Juice. You can just taste how healthy it is! It definitely wasn't my favorite. Moving onto our meals--we had the Smoked Salmon Benedict, Market Hash, Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl, and the 2 For You. Comparing Kerbey Lane Cafe's Egg Benedict to First Watch's Egg Benedict, I'd have to say First Watch is the winner. Although it had a very strong flavor of tomato, the salmon provides great flavor and the eggs were cooked perfectly. If you're looking for a light meal with light flavors, try the Smoked Salmon Benedict! The Market Hash was the best dish we had, minus the fruits it came with. The Market Hash tasted extremely similar to Cheese Fries, so if that's something you like, the Market Hash is a must try! The Whole Grain Artisan Toast with Jelly was a favorite of mine--it's quite addicting. As for the 2 For You and the Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl, they both tasted great and clean. Now, onto the disappointing factor, the customer service we encountered. We felt like our server wasn't attentive. When we were seated, we asked for utensils and an extra cup of water when we ordered our drinks. Our water never came, so we had to ask again when our food came out. We also had to ask for utensils again until we finally received them. As we were eating, we were handed our checks prior to finishing our food so we felt a bit rushed to get out of there, even though there was ample time prior to closing (about 30 minutes). Overall, the food was definitely great. It was filling and definitely worth it for its price. The service, on the other hand, wasn't great, even though the place was crowded at the time. read more

The double bacon Parmesan hash was amazing! Our waitress Halle was also really sweet and efficient.

Food was tasty but not served hot. Additional guest had the ckickichanga and said it was delicious. Cocktail cranberry sunrise was tasty but lacking alcohol and a bit pricey. Had the Florentine Benedict. Salad was plentiful. Place was clean and friendly. Price $$. read more

Gianna was a great waitress and the food was delicious!the restaurant was clean and nice.

Here is a place to have a nice breakfast. The traditional place comes with two eggs, a meat (ham, bacon or sausage) . Toast and jelly. Great choice. Coffee is very good. The water is on request and it comes cool with no ice. Knowing this I requested that on my glass I wanted some ice. If I want to experience the Europe lifestyle I would go to Europe. In America we are accustom that water in the summer comes with ice. The waitress did not comply with my witches. My wife order strawberry jam and she another jam instead. I know that they are busy in Sunday morning around 9:00 am. But they are poorly trained. The Customers come first and this was given the priority that should be given. I was disappointed on the service received on this ocasión. Maybe the owner of the franchise takes note of this suggestion. read more

The food was great, in and out, clean restaurant. Very convenient for quick pick me up.

Viri was amazing!!! She did so good and was very thoughtful and very attentive, the food was so good as well!

We had a group of 20 (adults) and went here for brunch on my daughter's birthday. They do not take reservations but we did call ahead about an hour and a half to let them know we were coming. We also got on the waitlist online. They were so nice and told us they would be ready for us and that they had a back room that could accommodate us. There are games like corn hole and Jenga outside while you wait. We arrived and were seated shortly after the area became open. The servers were very efficient in getting drinks and orders. The food came out quickly and everything was so delicious! I had the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl and a side of grits. We also had the Million Dollar Bacon which is such a guilty pleasure and a must have. The bowl was packed with flavor and so fresh. The grits were cooked perfectly which is always a plus with grits. One of the servers happily took a group photo of us. We were in and out in the same time as if we had a party of 4. They really made my daughter's birthday special and took care of us. I highly recommend this First Watch as we not only had great food but a great experience as well. read more

This a farm-to-table restaurant. It is a wonderful breakfast and lunch restaurant. The menu has a good variety to suit most regardless of your diets. Fresh food. I ordered Monterey club. Bread is toasted. This is not instant food, so be prepared to wait for your food to be made to order. It came with a nice salad, I didn't know. I am allergic to lettuce so I asked for something different, and they were able to bring me grapes! Very nice wait staff. Be aware you can no longer turn left into their parking lot, and no u turn is allowed at light at University Drive. Nice ambiance. They get very busy at breakfast time. First time customer food was delicious service was excellent my new favorite breakfast spot.

Food and Service was great. The Hostess well that's another matter. Black headed girl looked like Spock from Star Trek had an angry attitude and not at all welcoming to arriving customers. I asked the cashier about her attitude and he just replied that was just her. That is not a good way to go through life acting angry all the time. If she doesn't like the work she should work elsewhere. read more
