I love a good bagel and unique coffee, and sunbeam didn't disappoint. Extensive seating, quick service, and great food! Definitely a win on every factor except parking - their lot is small but there's street parking within a couple blocks.

Great little bagel place that becomes a bar (The Owl) at night. Really good lox bagels and pretty decent espresso. This place, Zeitman's, and Champion's Pizza are the only businesses in College Station that remind me of New York City. I recommend all three businesses. The only problem at this location is that parking can be tricky, especially during the weekends.

A cute little bagel shop with sammiches, coffee and sodas. Service was quick and friendly. And real bagels, savory bagels, traditional bagels, but larger. You judge a Mexican food place by their enchiladas. For me a bagel shop that has onion bagels ROCKS! Cuban sandwich was tasty too!

Sunbeam Bagels - Downtown Bryan, TX Walking into Sunbeam Bagels this morning, I wasn't sure what to expect as someone who has to be gluten-free (not by choice!). I asked if they had anything gluten-free, and at first, the quick answer was "no." But here's where the magic happened--one of the team members, clearly a seasoned pro, immediately came over with a smile and said, "We can make something work for you." Next thing I knew, they were in the kitchen putting together the most delicious breakfast bowl: crispy hash brown, perfectly cooked egg, fresh tomatoes, sizzling bacon, sausage, and melty cheddar cheese. They took what they had and turned it into something incredible, just for me, without hesitation. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare these days--and it's worth bragging about. Sunbeam Bagels already has a reputation for their fresh, hand-rolled bagels, sandwiches, soups, and coffee in a cozy, welcoming space. But what impressed me even more was the team's kindness, creativity, and "we've got you covered" attitude. These Aggies bring the kind of friendliness and warmth that makes you want to come back--not just for the food, but for the people. If you're in Downtown Bryan, whether you eat gluten or not, make this your breakfast or lunch stop. And if you do eat gluten, well... those bagels looked amazing, too. Pro tip: They're open 7-3 daily, so get here early, grab a coffee, and let these folks take care of you. You won't regret it.

a great place for scrumptious smoked salmon cream cheese bagels by day a classic cafe vibe, by night a trendy bar. sunbeam is adjacent to the owl, a local pub. during the day they serve coffee, sandwiches, and bagels.

I came in to Sunbeam Bagel with a friend looking to establish a new go to spot for me to study at or just grab coffee. Immediately when walking up to the door, my friend and I were astonished by the patio with the red fabric awning over the outside seating that casted a red tint over anyone that sits under it. The sun hitting against the awning created such a warm and inviting space for someone to get work done. Not to mention, there was more than plenty of outside seating which I personally enjoy. When walking into the shop, the sunlight that reflected off the red fabric awning made its way into the the room through the large windows which resembles a garage door. The red hue that was casted into the room also made a wonderfully warm and peaceful vibe for reading or studying. The customer service was great and the person my friend and I talked too answered all of our questions and even gave us some suggestions . The cafe was out of certain bagels, but the chive cream cheese on the plain bagel made up for this. Truly incredible cream cheese that I can not wait to have again. If you love garlicky tasing things or just garlic butter, you will love this. Discussing the bagel, I can only assume they make their bagels homemade considering they tasted and looked so (this is a good thing lol). Now for the coffee, I had ordered a cold brew with brown sugar and oat milk alongside my friend. Personally, I was not a huge fan of this drink because I did not taste the brown sugar and the coffee did not have a bold flavor. Now, I have yet to try their espresso, so I can not fully give my full opinion on all of their coffee. I am definitely coming back to this spot to try their espresso but to also give their cold brew another try. One thing to note is that my experience with the cold brew may not be what everyone else tastes when drinking it, but I thought I would share my honest opinion. Overall, Sunbeam Bagel offers a vibe that can not be missed. The ambience is one that makes anyone that decides to sit in feel like they can take a moment out of their busy day to bask in the red glow of the sun and feel at ease. I enjoy the abundant seating they have outside, but if you are not looking to sit out, I will say there is not much seating inside due to the size of the place itself. If you can or choose to sit in, you will be met with cute decor and red walls to match the beautiful red rays trickling their way into the room. The customer service is excellent and adds to the welcoming environment. I am excited to come back again!

Ok I LOVED this place! The shop is so so aesthetically pleasing and cute. I'm obsessed with the way the red roof outside created a hue inside. You can really tell they put thought into the design. Loved the location close to downtown Bryan I got the iced brown sugar latte w oat milk and it was perfectly made! The owner said she makes all of the syrups in house and it was tasty! I do wish there were sugar free options, but still loved it all nonetheless!

Great bagels, and cool tea selection. Wife had the bacon egg cheddar bagel on plain and I had everything bagel with espresso cream cheese. Really good!

I hadn't realized it was finals week, so the shop was packed with college students. There was nowhere to sit, so I ordered everything to go. They had a decent pastry selection, which appeared to be sourced from Daylight Donuts. I ordered a blueberry scone--it tasted fine, nothing exceptional. The main issue was the service. It was pretty slow, likely due to how crowded it was, but I still felt the order flow could have been managed better. I had to ask if my order was ready, as it seemed to get lost in the shuffle. I didn't try any of the drinks, but it looked like they offer a wide variety, judging by what others were ordering. I'd probably give this place another try when school is out and things are less hectic--maybe during a holiday break--when the experience might feel more relaxed and organized.
