Love this coffee shop! Excellent coffee and always great service!!!! This place is a WIN every time.

The place is really quaint and quiet. They have free Wi-Fi which many are using: college students. The server was polite and helpful. I ordered a hot coffee that's strong with no cream or sugar. I may have confused her a bit! My guest ordered a regular coffee and an apple fritter. He really liked his pastry. Honestly I was not happy with my coffee, it tasted weak and watered down. After a few sips I gave up on it. But still an awesome looking interior. UPDATE: Toilet is dingy and smelly 99.9% women read more

I had the sneakers latte iced - the size was a regular which was very small (I was disappointed). The service was good. The drinks came out quickly. I went through the drive through so I can't speak on the vibe inside the restaurant. I would have given more stars but I found a piece of plastic inside my drink, it was mixed in with the ice. read more

A super cool spot for a quick coffee or an hours long study session. Coffee is pretty good, but the donuts and pastries are by far the star of the show. Would recommend coming at an off time since it gets very crowded on weekends and in the afternoon. read more

I stopped by this coffee shop in College Station after visiting the George Bush Library. On the drive home, I still had almost two hours ahead of me and was feeling tired, cold, and in need of something sweet or caffeinated. I hadn't realized it was finals week, so the shop was packed with college students. There was nowhere to sit, so I ordered everything to go. They had a decent pastry selection, which appeared to be sourced from Daylight Donuts. I ordered a blueberry scone--it tasted fine, nothing exceptional. The main issue was the service. It was pretty slow, likely due to how crowded it was, but I still felt the order flow could have been managed better. I had to ask if my order was ready, as it seemed to get lost in the shuffle. I didn't try any of the drinks, but it looked like they offer a wide variety, judging by what others were ordering. I'd probably give this place another try when school is out and things are less hectic--maybe during a holiday break--when the experience might feel more relaxed and organized. read more

This local cafe has been a very unique place, not only to grab a coffee, or meet with friends, but the service and atmosphere are so eye catching that you feel as if you are in a old neo modern living space. The coffee and pastries are spectacular, and they give you free wifi access for two hours, which is great. The environment is relaxing, I will say if you go later in the day it gets very very packed and is loud since it is a place most students go to. I was back after 7 years, and this place still is rocking it! read more

Alix is a great barista and definitely one of the best baristas I've personally met. She's doing an amazing job and deserves a notice of her work and appreciation. Thank you Alix for your service! Also, the coffee was great! read more

Great crepes. Chocolate banana is fantastic. The atmosphere is very chill. Lots of art and eclectic seating.

I went during exams so it was extremely busy. I think the gentleman who was making drinks was new so it might've slipped to make my drink. They felt so bad and offered me another item of my choice on them. The staff were very friendly and patient. Overall it was a good vibe and the coffee was delicious. Everyone in there was mainly studying or doing school work. There's a lot of different seating areas and rooms to pick from. Definitely a good study place. read more

My husband and I took our daughter to a summer camp in Waco and were on our way back to Houston when we decided to stop in CS for lunch and coffee for the drive home. I frequented Sweet Eugene's during my days in Aggieland. The nostalgia is real. I walked in and ordered the same thing I ordered 25 years ago...the almond joy. I also ordered a scone. I'll tell you what was the best thing was my husband's flourless chocolate cake...wow! I sure do miss my college days; this pit stop was worth the trip down memory lane! read more

A bit pricey for the amount of food you get. The drinks were made with love and so good! We got different plates to try different things. The chicken with the beignets was okay. It was chicken strips well over done. The beignets were very fluffy and cake like instead of crispy air pockets. Pancakes were full of flavor and bacon was delicious. The staff were friendly and quick to help us. The restaurant had a lot of traffic but there was still plenty of tables available. Bathrooms kept clean and water was kept full. read more

I don't know how to explain it, but the donuts taste like the chicken from Popeyes. They have that Cajun seasoning flavor to them. It's off putting, but other than that they're good. read more

A quirky place, and I kinda like it! They have some interesting shaken cold coffee drinks, but it was freezing the day I visited, so a hot mocha was in order. Coffee was good. Service was nice, though they seemed a bit short-staffed that morning. Will definitely go back to check out again... read more

really good plac3e. Tends to cater more to Students. Crepes are super tasty. The coffee is a very bold flavor

The barista's were horrible. They forgot all my pastries, then got annoyed when I asked for them.

Rude, impersonal service and loud music unfit for studying and reading. Many places to sit with good variety.

The coffee is mid at best. It's very watery and completely lacks flavor. I have gone multiple times, trying to keep an open mind since people seem to love it, but each time I am highly disappointed by the low quality coffee. Maybe people around here don't know what quality coffee is...? For the price their charging?? Raise your standards guys I beg of u!!! The baristas are rude on the regular. Very unfriendly and bothered. Only positives are the unique decor, big space, and the food is okay. There are so many better coffee spots in cstat, don't waste your time or your money read more

I really like the interior - super cozy with dim, warm lighting and couches. It's great for hanging out on a coffee date. You can also study here (there are outlets by the tables). When you purchase anything, you can get a 2 hour WiFi code. All of the cakes I've had here (Black Forest, tuxedo, amaretto) have been dry and variable quality, I would rate 3/5. The tuxedo cake was way too sweet. The three cheese crepe was not hot enough, and the cheese inside wasn't melted (3/5). I liked their turtle cheesecake (5/5). I've liked all of the drinks I've had here. I've had the cappuccino, Iced Irishman, Iced Brown Sugar Bourbon, and Eugene's. The drinks come out quickly; the coffee is strong. read more

This place is a lot bigger than I expected. It was pretty cool bc it felt like there were 4 different rooms due to how it is set up. The atmosphere was perfect! The furniture and art pieces were pretty awesome and unique. It felt like I was in someone's living room. They had great music playing, although I will say it was a tad too loud for me to concentrate fully. But I was not too bothered with it bc the music was good lol. I got the lavender lemonade and white mocha were really good. The staff was very nice and answered some questions about the menu. They do provide WiFi however it is only accessible for 2 hours. read more

Love this place! This was my home away from home for many years. I make sure to stop by every time I'm in town.

Lovely spot close to A&M with delicious pastries. Parking may be tricky during the school year. Good WiFi.

I am so disappointed. what happened to what was once the best coffee shop in town? weak coffee. tasteless, watery "espresso ". it tastes like they used regular coffee to make my americano. read more

WOW. Worst service I've ever had. Staff consists of a bunch of college kids who have no sense of urgency and could care less about customer service. Coffee is alright! Fun menu. Ambiance is beautiful but be ready to deal with bad service. read more

Coffee is good , service is TERRIBLE. Lots of employees sitting around doing nothing . Ordered and waited and waited while nobody was even at the espresso machine . Wasn't busy so no excuse . If the owner is reading I would clean house and get some people in there that will actually work . I waited so long I eventually just asked for a refund. read more

I have been twice, they have gotten my order wrong both times. Also good luck getting your drink here, it'll get snagged at the counter before you can grab it. Finally, the cherry on top of my experience was an Indian man yelling at me because he felt I was taking too long in the bathroom. read more

Went here for years in high school & college...unfortunately their quality of drinks has went down as well as their service. Also, after all these years of going, I didn't realize that their iced coffees do not have fresh shots in them..I went in one day to get the same drink I've always gotten and asked for an extra shot..then I watched them pour a cold mixture from their fridge and did not make any fresh espresso for my drink. I probably won't ever go back here which makes me sad because I love to support my local coffee shops. read more

3rd time trying Sweet Eugene, 2nd time trying to work here. Recently tried WFH from a diff location & couldn't log onto a single wifi network in this place! Luckily my hot spot worked. Drink-wise, I went with a london fog on my most recent trip which was decent. I always get a bit worried when a black tea drink that should steep for 5 min comes out with froth & flavoring like 2 min after I order it. The other times I had lattes that were a bit too sweet for my taste. It definitely feels a bit outdated decor-wise - literally like walking into something from a 90s sitcom - but there's ample seating, with some tables being a bit small. If this were in any other city, i'd probably give it 2 stars but we're working with what we've got here. read more

Excellent service, coffee & asthenic! Maybe add a timer to the WiFi code as every seat is occupied for hours at a time? I'll be back again & again for the coffee. Have tried the donuts, croissants, not a huge fan - then again a pastry snob given my family's heritage as artisanal bakers. read more

super cute place. always a ton of seats everywhere, and the different decorations in each room makes it look super homey. the employees look like they genuinely love their job and they always treat me with great kindness (bare minimum ik, but they do it well). and the food and coffee are great!! awesome study spot. it's also convenient that it's open til late . only downside is the parking but they can't control that read more

Hidden coffee spot in College Station! It gives Friend's show vibes. Great food and pastries.

As a Texas A&M student, I have frequented this coffee shop during my college years. It has several pros, but it has cons as well. PROS: - Wide menu selection - Lots of seating - Open until midnight - Beautiful environment of artwork/chandeliers/vintage vibes, cozy - Usually good music - Friendly staff - Decent amount of outlets - Donuts are amazing CONS: - Majority of the chairs are uncomfortable, especially for longer periods of studying - Some of the tables have no leg room - Drinks are kinda pricey, they are good but not great - Generally fairly busy, if you come close to finals expect no seating - Music can be pretty loud near the front - Bathrooms are a bit smelly Overall I recommend it, but only for certain "moods". If it's a late weekday and I want a coffee shop to study at, I will go to Eugene's. read more

They have like 235 free wifi options to connect to but......not 1 connects. I assume if a cafe offers that many seats for students to come get some studying done then they should offer a secure and strong wifi connection. The interior is huge. lots of seating. but unless you're here to do something that doesn't require wifi (reading a book) then I don't recommend. Their coffee was good. I got one of their signature lattes and its REALLY sweet so if you don't like sweet coffee then I would say stay away from those lattes. Seems like they also had a drive thru option which was cool The service was great. The girl at the counter was very sweet to explain what each latte had in it. They seem to have a lot of pastry options and even some food items. But My boyfriend and I only stayed for about 10min bc none of wifis were working. What a waste I wish I could give this place some love. read more

Stopped in on a very rainy day and got soaked due to the limited parking near the entrance. However they had a drive thru so I really can't complain! The inside was so charming and fun and surprisingly large! There were college students everywhere, no surprise there. I ordered a waffle latte, hot and was pleased with how cheap it was for the size I got. I also got my drink so quickly!! The drink itself was good but nothing amazing. I was worried it would be overly sweet but it wasn't. If I would have had more time I would have appreciated the shop a little more for sure. Maybe next time! read more
