This location is highly recommended if you like first watch! The staff was amiable and easygoing. The restrooms and dining area were exceptionally clean, and I believe the kitchen must have been, too. I also appreciated that the staff were diligent about hand-washing. Overall, the staff appeared to be very happy and accommodating. read more

Great place, food was fresh and delicious. Had the million dollar bacon, sausage and biscuits, eggs and lemon ricotta pancakes. Million Dollar Bacon - 7/10 - really tasty! Sausage and Biscuits 9.5/10 - savory and delicious, side of potatoes had just the right amount of crisp, sausage and gravy was perfect and the biscuit absorbed it while holding its crunch. Incredible. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - 8.2/10 - a dessert for breakfast, but the pancake is buttery and crispy on the edges, the lemon curd pairs very well. At this point I didn't have much room left, but what I had was very enjoyable. Just the right amount of sweet. Had to try them! Service was pleasant - ambience is great (farmhouse feel), a must stop for breakfast if you're in the area! read more

The decor inside is nice. You can tell they are appealing to the hipster crowd. Unfortunately there is no carpet, so it is super loud! I had to almost scream to talk to hubby and my ears hurt. The food was average. I felt the prices were high for what you got and service was average as well. This place has potential, but needs some refinement. I ordered the traditional 2 egg breakfast which came with choice of meat and potatoes. When served, it looked like it was one egg at best or perhaps 2 hummingbird eggs. I substituted sourdough bread for the multi grain which was fine, but not enough jam to cover all the toast. The potatoes were...average. Hubby ordered the Bacado omelette which was much better. A better choice. *Note to self* Overall I probably wouldn't recommend the place, but it served its purpose. Not great, but not terrible. read more

Always a classic brunch spot for my family and I. You can't go wrong with any items on their menu and their homemade preserve is amazing! I always love coming here but expect for a lot air when you come here on the weekend. The staff is always friendly and very nice to you! Despite being a packed and busy place, it's not a very loud restaurant which is a major plus. Other than that, this place is worth it's price point! read more

This a good family restaurant. The food is good. And we love all the speciality juices they have to offer.

What a fabulous be breakfast. Started with the morning meditation juice. Delightful and reasonably priced. Tried the breakfast tacos minus chorizo and I was so satisfied. We absolutely love First Watch however, they missed the mark on our dine in experience this go round. Our server was awesome! But, not sure if they got a new cook because the food was not as good as it use to be. Maybe because it was a packed Saturday? Shrugs. I ordered the Roast Beef and Havarti sandwich with the Honey Pecan Chicken salad. My husband ordered The Works Omelette with a Carrot Cake Pancake. My sandwich was greasy. I don't think the bread was toasted to its entirety and the cheese was barely melted. I had to keep wiping my hands and mouth after every single bite. The salad was good. But then again, can you really mess up a salad. The carrot cake pancake shrunk tremendously in size (use to be as big as the plate) and was the size of a regular pancake. This was off putting since their pancakes are $6+ for one and was beyond dry and cold. The butter didn't even melt. My husbands omelette barely had any meat in it and was not seasoned at all. The potatoes were also under cooked. Not to mention, the water had the most bizarre taste that we couldn't even drink it. We don't complain in restaurants, so we stuck it out and ate the parts that where good. Not sure what was going on that day however, we will have to find a new location. read more

I am not a breakfast person but my family absolutely is. Grudgingly pulled to 'breakfast' I was pleasantly surprised at the range of other options. Their sandwiches are very well done with generous servings, taste balance and sides. I think First Watch sandwiches can stand up against some of the better sandwich shops in Tempe read more

There is a large parking lot as it is in a mini mall. You can dine-in, order and pick up. The decore is "down home", comfy, cozy. They have plenty indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is kept clean. Staff wear their masks. The atmosphere is pleasant. The food is delicious and fresh. They have a diverse menu selection. You get decent size portions. To wet your whistle, you will enjoy the Purple Haze and Morning Meditation. Shout out to the staff for being so friendly and making the guest feel appreciated especially during these uncertain times. Extra shout out to Zuzu, Samantha (keeping fingers crossed, wink), David and Newbie Erin for always making my sister and brother-in-law always welcomed. You are testaments to your employers Mission Statement, "...provide an enjoyable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.." Yup, I'm definitely coming back! read more

This place never disappoints us no matter which state we are visiting. The ambiance is laid back relaxing and our server was as friendly as expected. We had our usual delicious morning meditation drink but we also had their special drink with mango and it was delicious. We also tried their sangria pitcher and I will have to say that for a breakfast place (not Spanish) I will have their sangria again. The avocado crab toast was perfectly seasoned and loaded. If I had one bad thing to say is that the eggs were not over easy, my yolks were hard. My husband had the special with the tacos. The chunks of pineapple in the mixture gave it a delicious surprise of sweet and acid for a perfect balance. read more

First Watch remains one of my favorite breakfast chains in the valley. The food here is high-quality, and the atmosphere is always bright and enjoyable. I've come to this location a couple of times over the past few months, and even through the pandemic they are a fantastic option for a healthy brunch. Their pick-up system is great. I've ordered through DoorDash for pick-up and delivery from this location and all my food has been great throughout. They have a pick-up station right at the door, and I've never had to wait. Excellent service. Concerning in-person dining, the restaurant has taken great precautions to maintain social distancing while still providing the great food I've come to expect from First Watch. One of the biggest treats you can get here in the morning is the million dollar bacon. Topped with maple syrup sugary goodness, you're sure to enjoy it! read more

It's a hit or miss if I'm being completely honest. I love their fresh juice and french toast tho. Always super packed! Friendly service.

Today's wait was about 25 minutes because we didn't reserve online. However if you're in the same boat they have benches outside, couch and chairs inside and some water and coffee to start while waiting. The Elevated Egg Sandwich: smashed in avocado, melted gruyere cheese, Egg over hard (but was supposed to be over easy but I preferred over hard) a couple pieces of bacon, mayo, arugula salad all in between the brioche bread. I was expecting the brioche bread to be soft and fluffy but this one was not- however still edible. This usually comes with seasoned potatoes but I requested fruit instead which came with a melody of pineapples pieces, honey dew dices, grapes, strawberry cuts and two blackberries. Fruit was a bit on the unfresh side for my taste. SoCal Burrito (special of the season): vegetarian fed chicken, oozing mozzarella cheese, black beans, avocado, pico requested on the side and a side of fruit but requested seasoned potatoes. We basically switched out sides! Morning Glow: fresh oranges, beet, turmeric, agave honey and organic ginger Today's brunch was pretty good and the service by our server was superb. Owner/manager and hostess did a duo teamwork job in getting everyone seated for a busy time. Nicely done. Until next time..... Oh btw- my go to dish is usually the pesto chicken quinoa power bowl. My fave. read more

We came here one Saturday morning, the service was really good. The only thing I wish is that they didn't give us paper menus that they have to destroy right away and wish they would've promoted the QR code more or present that as the only option. I love first watch avocado toast. It is always on point. The server recommended the carrot pancake which I was not really a fan of. I was expecting something sweet and crisp, I wouldn't get it again. It's was very bland and dry. I also got the chocolate chip pancake. It was good but again very dry and bland. It tasted better with milk. I know when we got our food they only gave us a tiny bottle of Tabasco the little miniature version we had to ask for more, as well as ketchup since they have to serve it in a small container instead of the bottle. (covid) First Watch was empty when we got there and we did get seated right away. read more

I met a couple friends here for a 9:00 breakfast. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server introduced himself and took our beverage orders. My friends ordered the Multigrain Pancakes, Skillet Hash-Farmhouse and I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine. I can only review my breakfast which I thought was very OK. Bland is the perfect description. Though my dish looked very good the poached egg was well done. I did not make a big deal about it because I was with friends who seemed like they were enjoying their dishes. Service was good until the very end when we wanted the bill. Our server seemed to have disappeared. We had to stop another server to ask and still had to wait 20 minutes to be exact. Sorry, so many other places to go. read more

I was spending the day with two of my kids and we wanted to stop for some yummy breakfast. First Watch is one of our faves. Our last stop at this location wasn't the greatest, but today was awesome. Like everywhere else service is slow and I get that. It took a bit to be helped once we were seated, but Michael made our experience amazing. He did t seem to be our waiter, but took the time to stop and check on us once he noticed no one had. He was friendly, funny and had such a great personality. Thank you so much for being attentive and making our meal a great one. My son ordered a grapefruit juice which he realized after one sip wasn't what he should've done lol and Michael saved the day with a soda ha ha. Anyway; after my daughter and I had our morning medication juice (yum) we dug into our yummy avocado toast and Floridian French toast. My son had the traditional breakfast and we all enjoyed it. Again thank you Michael for being awesome. Restaurants need more people like you! read more

Great service; Ashley was delightful. Reserved reservations on app. Easy and no wait. Relaxing, comfortable vibe. Some of their seasonal food are outstanding, some average. Taco Al Pastor was average. The breakfast had more chunks of pineapple and a small amount of meat, however, it was tasty. Biscuit and gravy were acceptable. I thought they used too much salt, but hubby loved the gravy. Iced coffee flavorful if you like sweet coffee, highly recommend. read more

Online ordering is easy. The estimated time they give you is pretty accurate so don't rush over there on a busy weekend. I frequently order the avocado toast- it comes with eggs on the side. My hubby got the market hash which comes with toast and a small fruit cup. Prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly. They used to have this delicious mint hot tea, which they didn't switch to generic tea bags. Overall Recommended!! read more

I got the Farmhouse Hash with poached eggs and it was really good! It also came with toast and jam on the side. Their menu has a wide variety of dishes that will suit different preferences. It gets really busy for weekend brunch, so I would highly recommend adding yourself to the waitlist online before you get there. It will give you an estimate right away on how long it will take before your table is ready. The biggest disappointment was the lack of transparency regarding the coffee. After we were seated, our waitress brought us coffee with the menus. We didn't ask for coffee, but she just dropped it off, so we assumed it was complimentary. Throughout the whole time we were there, she never mentioned the coffee was not in fact complimentary, and I didn't realize it until we got the check. It's only a few bucks, but it seems shady for them to give a pot of coffee and not inform us that it is a separate charge. When I asked about it afterwards, they just brusquely responded that the coffee was not free and there was no room for further discussion. read more
