Very Disappointed - Will Not Return Had a terrible experience at First Watch. There was a hair in our omelette -- absolutely unacceptable for any restaurant. On top of that, the omelette came with only half a slice of bread, and they had the nerve to charge us $2.50 for it. We also noticed ingredients in our omelette that we never ordered, which made the whole meal even more frustrating. To top it off, the bill was incorrect, and we were charged for things we didn't order. No apology, no effort to make it right. Warning to other customers: double-check your bill before paying. We went today for breakfast our first time. The place was hopping and the wait staff were on top of it all. Our waitress Jaynee was great. The water wasn't good but lots of lemon helped. Ice tea was fresh brewed and was good. I had the market omelet it was great. Loved the amount of mushrooms spinach and goat cheese it had in it. I chose the salad side. All the leaves were clean and not bruised dressing was tasty. My son had the lemon ricotta pancakes w curd. OMG it was good lots of lemon hints and the strawberries on top looked and tasted fresh. Amazing. Absolutely fantastic every single time we eat here. The million dollar bacon is an absolute MUST. The grits were a little dry, but I have zero experience with grits. I had a special breakfast burrito. The sauce it came smothered in was spicy and flavorful and outstanding. My fiance ordered the special green pepper hash and he was thrilled. I have yet to get anything but great service and food from First Watch Restaurants. Kale tonic is so delicious and healthy. We sat outside on this pretty darn hot day because there was no wait time. Have yo say with the umbrellas over the tables and the way they were placed it wasn't uncomfortable for us. The place is always super clean and the waitress was very cool, friendly and on her game. Consistent and average. On the upside, usually a clean restaurant and fairly friendly service staff. The menus are professional, the decor is nice, however, the food is extremely ordinary. Even the dishes that sound like they might be special usually result in a mediocre fare. Either way I do enjoy first watch however, if I were looking for something special, this is probably not where I would head. And like so many other restaurants, the prices for breakfast meals are through the roof and make it more of a treat than something most would do regularly. read more

This First Watch in Bradenton was an excellent experience. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was well prepared and to our liking. I believe this restaurant opened in December of 2023. So far a great place to eat. Will definitely return as our go to restaurant on Mondays, our regular breakfast restaurant, is closed on Mondays. read more

We went here for the first time as we were a little slow to rise and our regular spot was an hour and a half wait. So we decide to try them out instead and we are so glad we did. The decor is rustic farm and ties in with their farm to fork approach to food. With so many options to choose from the Mrs and I struggled but the craft of coffee helped to get us started. The Mrs got the grits, one buckwheat blue berry pancake and a garden vegetable omelette. While I went with the biscuit and Turkey gravy with two eggs and side of breakfast potatoes. The meal was delivered in a timely manor and with awesome presentation. Everything was piping hot and even the maple syrup was delivered warm. The pancake piece I stole was very tasty and perfectly crisp on both sides. The Turkey gravy was perfectly peppered and the biscuit was nice and moist. The meal was so filling we skipped having lunch and I'm only now need to eat and wishing they were still open to go back for dinner but then they would have to be called third watch. read more

It looks pretty. It tasted OK. It was filling. But it was not classic or simple. The shrimp and grits had way more in it than your standard shrimp and grits. Let's add some of this it will make it look more colorful. And some of this, this and this. While it had good taste the shrimp and grits got lost. The half sandwich and salad was good.
