I've recently began to be more adventurous and try new places but when it's a recommended eatery by your best friend, well, you gotta go! I went with my best friend this past Saturday and wasn't surprised by the wait but that didn't matter because the food was super delicious. I ordered the Chimichurri Chicken Farm Hash with multigrain toast and was truly blown away by the flavor! I had quite the appetite and was definitely satisfied without feeling groggy afterward. This is our new go to place for breakfast. It is one of the only organic, locally-sourced restaurants in town. And it is delicious! The restaurant is clean and the staff are courteous. The portions are a little small, so even though we're small people, we have to order extra sides to feel full. One of the best things about the place is that you can download the app and get in line for a table without having to sit there while you wait. Too bad they're only open half a day. read more

The wait is so SO long it's incredible... they originally said 30 min but ended up being more than an hour. Then I came with a party of three, they only gave us two glasses of water and took another 15 min to get another... highly suggest increasing the amount of waiters you employ, ours was super nice but just busy because she was in charge of so many tables. I have eaten here twice now and both visits the food was delicious. The first visit was worthy of 5 stars as the food and service were spot on. The second visit the food again was really good. Every time I eat here, I love my food, although most times something is off. Today my avocado was missing and when I asked about it I wad given two little slivers. If it had been my mistake I would have been generous. I was with a friend and we're finally had to ask for drink refills. Again, I live the food but said next time we will meet somewhere else. Last time they brought regular bread when my friend had asked for gluten free. I kept looking at it and when she asked it was replaced, but she ended up sick and they didn't offer anything to help make up it up. read more

I visited First Watch with my family. We ordered the waffle, plain pancake, the lemon pancake with fruit on the side, bacon & eggs. Every thing was delicious, especially the lemon ricotta pancakes. The waffles are not heavy like most waffles. I even tried the fresh juices. read more

Let me first start by saying the food was beyond amazing! However, the service and sense of urgency here was completely ridiculous. First of all it took 10 minutes to even be greeted then were told it would be a 30 minute wait when there were at least 5 open tables. When asked why the host stated it was because the kitchen had just done an 11 top and they were running behind. Having been a server myself for YEARS, if your kitchen and wait staff cant handle an 11 top, you have some major internal staffing issues! It took us about 10 minutes to just get water to drink and another 55 to get our food. Will not eat at this location again unless they address the issue of urgency with their waitstaff and kitchen staff. read more

The food is okay. I had multigrain pancakes, egg whites, and turkey sausage links. The pancake was cooked a little too long so it was crispy on top and on the sides. I did like the Kale tonic. Was skeptical at first but it tasted rather good. read more

Nice place for breakfast and brunch. Coffee is really respectable for restaurant. Broccoli and cheese soup is great, turkey burger is great. Only problem was the waitress didn't understand the menu and gave me a bowl of soup with the sandwich instead of as a side. Little more expensive but the soup was decent so no problems. Horrible management. We checked in online. We checked in when we arrived. We watched four plus parties of our size walk in and be seated before us while being told "you're next". I finally stood at the hostess stand to make sure we were next. We were finally seated and watched ten servers walk by and attend to tables around us without offering us water or coffee. We came here for brunch today. There was a 35 mins wait, although the yelp app allows you to put your name on the waitlist and I forgot to do so until remembering when I got to the restaurant and saw a little group of people waiting. The host gets my name and number and told us we will receive a text when a table is ready. A couple came before us and was able to be seated outside and we saw several tables available. I assumed they were on the waitlist so I didn't question the reason we didn't get seated since there were also other people waiting outside. We ended up just taking a walk around the plaza and came back to sit down outside to wait. I noticed there were still empty seats still on the outside patio and overheard one of the servers saying to someone there is an option to sit outside. I went ahead and asked the server to be seated outside which he was happy to. It'll been nice the host gave us that option rather waiting. So I gave First Watch one less star because of the lack of communication. After we were seated, we waited a little longer for the menus. We finally get our orders, my husband ordered the tri-fecta which include bacon, a lemon ricotta pancake with strawberries as topping, and eggs with a large glass of orange juice. I had the farmhouse hash plate with bacon, onions, peppers and potatoes and a morning meditation juice. All of our food was really good. The lemon ricotta pancakes were flavorful that we didn't put syrup on it. My hash plate was good, I wish there was more bacon. And the server, Ryan was very accommodating. The prices for food were really good for the quality. We would definitely come back here again and add this place to our list for places for brunch. read more

Wasn't bad...wasn't good. Service was good. Our food came out warm not hot. When asked if they could simply microwave it, they replied no microwave. Which is part of the concept of eating fresh. However, please at least make sure the food comes out hot. Uncertain as to if I would go back as the eggs were the only thing that stood out. My wife and I went here for brunch yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. Most places that flaunt organic and kale-like ingredients think they're better than everyone else and have an arrogant aura when you walk through the door. Not here! Everyone is really nice and they don't throw whole grain soy free gluten extracted BS down your throat. I had the chickichanga, which is a menu favorite and I was not disappointed. Drove from Austin to visit Arlington and found this restaurant on yelp! We loved the food, I would totally come back! Lots of choices for food and drink...food is fresh and looks as pictured. Only down turn was the 20-25 min wait for a table and they do not serve alcohol...aka no mimosas for brunch :( Overall, we loved it! read more

I'm not gonna lie, First Watch had me in the first half. Advertising healthy, farm fresh, and delicious food options will definitely get me - and many others - into the door. Unfortunately, the stop and go service and then poor quality of food had me ready to run out the restaurant. Our server was nice enough but looked to be quite busy, as she was not easy to find for little things, nor did she go over the menu options with us. I can understand being bogged down during the lunch rush but it almost bordered on us being ignored for most of our meal. Upon receiving our food, everything looked good, upon first bite however, everything went downhill. The food was cold. I ordered eggs benedict florentine, the english muffin was quite burnt around the edges, the avocado on top was browned and the side salad (that i didn't ask for and was just given to me because the server did not go over the menu options until AFTER our food was given to us) had this awful lemon vinaigrette tossed into it, it completely turned me off to the rest of my food. My girlfriend ordered the trifecta, and again the food was cold and our server didn't go over the menu options so again we didn't know what sides came out, and to top that off they only give you ONE tiny sausage. All in all, I won't be coming back to this establishment, nor would i recommend it to friends that I actually like. If you're a foodie of color or someone who generally enjoys their food tasting good avoid this place. read more
