Went here to grab breakfast with my family. the experience wasn't a very good one. The coffee we ordered tasted like it had bacon grease inside of the coffee container we sent it back. they still charged us for it. I got the avocado "toast"(bread was not toasted and very soggy) with a side of home fries the bread was not warm or toasted at all which it says on the menu, the bread became very soggy because it wasn't toasted eating soggy bread is not the move. So I moved to the home fries and sadly they tasted like they accidentally dumped a whole salt container into the potatoes. only reason I am giving this place three star review was the rest of my family's meals tasted alright so I was able to take a few bites of theres since mine was inedible. read more

A Saturday morning. Got on a wait list at 11:04 am online, it said 20-30 minute wait. Arrived at the restaurant and checked in at about 11:20... received a text at 11:48 that we were next. (44 minutes on the wait list.) Went in to be seated, the server (Tifany) was friendly and took our whole order, explained they're busy and food was a little slow, ok.... 12:39 (50 minutes at the table) the server come and told us they haven't forgotten about us and the kitchen is struggling... um, ok... She went to check on the food. 12:42 she says there's one order before us... Food came out at 12:47. (Almost one hour from the time of order) Food was good over all, the order was correct and delicious. The server was sweet and understanding about the wait but we never saw a manager (we didn't ask for one, maybe they were helping cook, I don't know.) Walked out at 1:05. Two hours for breakfast... The place just opened and food is great! The staff are nice as well. Don't come on the weekends because line is wicked! You sign up online to be in the waiting list - wait time is about 30 minutes. Then you get a text to check in when you arrive. You get to the restaurant and you will be told "You wait a few more minutes to get a text that your table is ready. " Those few minutes are like another 30 minutes of wait outside in the heat. They need to change this policy because it's ridiculous to say the least. Why just text the customer once the table is "ACTUALLY" ready? I love the service at Keke's down the road at Wekiva Riverwalk - waiting there is a lot better than Firstwatch. My spouse and I had breakfast here and the service was above average. Our server was Skye and she was attentive and friendly. Many servers that walked by asked if we were doing okay and were genuinely concerned. The manager visited our table even though it was very busy with customers. At that point, it was easy to tell her about the great service and everyone's kindness. My spouse had the avocado toast and coffee, both were delicious. I had the 'Elevated Egg sandwich'. It contained an egg over easy, bacon, Gruyère cheese, smashed avocado, mayo, arugula on the tastiest, softest brioche bun with a side of seasoned diced potatoes. It was big, so go hungry! This whole plate was so delicious! We ordered a pancake to split and it was huge, fluffy, and tasted good. Don't miss out on a terrific place to have the most important meal of the day. read more

We have always loved first watch so when we heard that we were getting one literally 5 minutes from the house I was so excited!! Even though they were only open for a few days when we went we still have a fantastic time and it was pretty busy! I'm sure there was a wait around 11:30-12 but we got there at around 1:10. Tiana was our host and she was fantastic. Our server was Caitlyn and she also did a fantastic job! Had an amazing time here for brunch. I came with my mother and sister and we had amazing service and the food was delicious.. Our waitress T was so sweet and helpful. Ok Orlando mom and pop restaurants seem to be struggling in regard to taste and "crafting" of their food. So I had to stop by First Watch to get a breakfast that wasn't gonna miss. Hot chocolate, carrot cake pancake with eggs and seasoned potatoes all on point. Well, the pancake was a little dry, but flavorful indeed. Fluffy eggs and the potatoes were crispy. The hostess and server were both very sweet and helpful. Cleanliness in dining area and music was excellent... but let's get to that men's bathroom- Atrocious! It's 7:40 in the morning. No way should that trash can be overflowing with trash. The floor was pretty nasty as well. That toilet was even worse. Seems like someone blew it up last night, then another person followed up redecorating it. Yuck! The biscuits and gravy were amazing I highly recommend it And I personally recommend Samantha as your waitress she was amazing and really everyone was very kind you may think it will take forever to get a table but it doesn't take that long. the food is great here, but the service today was very poor - they had some issues with staff today but still we did not even get to place our order for 1 hour. I asked 3 times to get some water and asked for a service and everyone said yes but we didn't get it. We went and got the manager and he did come over but just said sorry we are short staffed - they need to have better training during these situations because it was I thought they were helping you and they said I thought they were helping you and we received nothing. This relatively new location does not live up to the quality of other First Watch locations. We arrived at a 1/2 empty restaurant and had to get on a "30 minute " waitlist. Waited about 40 minutes. After seated, we ordered and waited 20+ minutes to be served food that was not hot, except 1 order of breakfast potatoes that was hot. The main entrees were lukewarm. If you like First Watch,the 434 location is much better. This one simply doesn't have enough help. Unbussed tables all around us, long line of people waiting, even while there were plenty of empty tables. read more

Went to First Watch to enjoy a nice breakfast with my family, but unfortunately we never even got to taste the food. We requested to sit outside because we figured inside would be too crowded for it being a Sunday. We sat there for nearly 30 minutes waiting for someone to come take our order. A couple came in 25 minutes after us and was seen in less than two minutes. I understand that it was Sunday morning and the wait would be a little longer than usual, but 30 minutes is a tad bit too long. I can't speak to service because no one ever came. We eventually just left. I did mention to the manager what happened to ensure other patrons don't experience the same thing but I honestly don't know if it mattered since it seems they pay more attention to their indoor patrons than outdoor. read more

My dad and I went here today around 11:00 am and when we ordered we told the server No Cheese on the sandwich my dad ordered, I saw the server write no cheese...the cooks obviously can't read No cheese....the sandwich came with cheese....if my dad had eaten that sandwich he would have gotten so I'll.. We told the server and they had the sandwich remade.. in the mean time, I was eating my meal. My husband and I had been to first watch different locations and was excited that one finally came to Apopka. He normally would get the Montecristo which they do not have now on their menu which was a disappointment. But what was more disappointing was there "seasoned potatoes" Which were more like burnt hockey pucks no flavor whatsoever. I know they haven't been opened long but if you can't do a breakfast potato somethings wrong especially for the money that you have to pay.When they came to pick up our plate she ask was everything OK even though she could see that all the potatoes were left on both plates. Went to First Watch on Sunday morning 3/5. Took 20 minutes before anyone came to get the drink order. Took another 25 minutes to get the food but the order was wrong. Instead of apologizing, the waitress argued with me over what the order was and then said that I should just try what she brought us. Seriously, why does it seem that 20 something year olds are all entitled and argumentative? My wife's order was correct but the food was not good. We should have gone to iHop who has much better tasting food for half the price. Lesson learned, never again. read more

I've been looking forward to eating at this new restaurant. Went there for brunch today. We waited 45 minutes for our food and it was cold when it arrived. I know it was there first week open and they were very busy. But this was sloppy at best. The manager was good enough to comp the meal and give us a $20 gift card.
