The only thing I wish was better was the Sprite--it wasn't cold. Thankfully, they were able to give me a cup of ice so I could pour it over and enjoy my drink. The ambiance was nice, and the staff was friendly. They also have a bar, and from what I saw, they have live music at night, which sounds like a great vibe. One thing that really sets Halls on 5th apart is the bar. Unlike many food halls that only offer beer and wine, they have a full-service bar with an excellent selection of cocktails and spirits. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding service, which made the experience even better. Between the variety of food options, the full bar, and the great hospitality, Halls on 5th is a place I'll definitely be returning to. If you're in Apopka, it's well worth the visit.

This is going to be THE breakfast spot for a while, you can tell. I loved that they opened the door for me as I walked up this morning. Very nice staff here and my server, Akaisha, was a doll. The Avocado Toast comes with big chunks of avocado and I didn't even need to salt my eggs, they were just right. Seriously, though, I could drink gallons of that orange juice - delicious! You can easily pay your bill by scanning the QR code on the back of your check and there's ample parking and seating inside and outside the restaurant. I'll return for the lemon ricotta pancakes and to try lunch here. A (very) welcome addition to Mount Dora, indeed.

On a Saturday morning, my boyfriend and I dined here around 9am. We were lucky to score one of the few parking spots since there isn't many and parking is tight. Upon walking in, I was fairly surprised at the size of the place inside since it looks much smaller from the outside. Service was pretty decent. Not overly personable, but had what we needed. I ordered a scrambled egg plate with patty sausage, home fries, and a blueberry muffin. The blueberry muffin was my favorite, it was really good. The home fries were less desirable. I wish they were crisper and maybe had onions with them to add more flavor. My boyfriend ordered his breakfast with an extra order of toast and we had to ask our server to bring it out because it was forgotten about. The food could of overall used more seasoning. Also for the quantity and quality, I thought it was very expensive.

Food usually comes out quick. Lots of options to choose from. I am usually a breakfast person, so when in the area, always try and hit this spot. The close just after lunch, so breakfast and lunch are their thing. I got the pancakes, mmm so good. I enjoy a good pancake. The potatoes are good too. My husband got a bacon, egg, cheese sandwich. Easy, delicious. Always a nice experience when else eat here.
