A BIG shout out to Kaitlyn Pacheco with First Resource Bank! We have been with First Resource since they came on the scene around 2005. They are consistently helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable, patient and understanding. It is rare to find such remarkable customer service. Today I received assistance from Kaitlyn Pacheco with First Resource Bank. She helped me figure out a messy and confusing issue I was having. Wow! What a gem she is! She is the epitome of an employee with fabulous customer service skills. When I got off the phone with Kaitlyn I felt pleased she solved my problem and I wasn't grumpy like when I am after dealing with a certain huge Philadelphia health care company. I was shocked to see only three reviews for First Resource Bank here on Yelp. I rarely write reviews but this time I feel compelled to do so. I have had my business since 2006 and have been with T* B**NK, P*C, and most recently First Resource Bank. There is absolutely no comparison. The level of personal service I receive from First Resource is unmatched. I contacted them recently to add a Money Market Account and it was done in 10 minutes...literally! At T* B*N* or P*C it would have been days to complete...been there! One of the main reasons I switched was a phone call...actually several....to PNC "Customer Service" to fix a botched deposit. I wasted hours repeating myself and on hold to solve a problem that never should have happened. I was NEVER able to speak to the same person twice and had to re-explain the problem over and over. That was the end. Every time I need something from First Resource Bank, it is done without issue and always in a timely fashion. Everyone is extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the request gets handled properly the first time. My husband and I have conducted business in the Exton, PA branch and most recently the new Wayne, PA branch. We live in Philadelphia, and we rarely, if ever, get the level of service and professional, helpful, well spoken, caring individuals that we have had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with at both First Resource Bank branches that we have visited. They do an incredible job of following up and responding to their customers. What a breath of fresh air dealing with people who care. The only down side is that they currently do not have a closer branch to downtown Philadelphia. read more

This is as good as it gets. As a small business owner, I appreciate a bank that takes the extra time to do what banks used to do. They keep an eye on my accounts and alert me when anything seems out of place. They alert me if I forget to transfer money from one account to another, unlike other banks that are more concerned with collecting fees. I also like a bank that gives your that personal attention. Can't wait for them to open their West Chester branch. read more

Unfriendly and distinctly unhelpful to Start-Up or young and struggling businesses, though they themselves are one. Notice the protestors along the road most days, they appear to have angered small area contractors struggling for business. Intolerant of even constructive criticism in my experience they can exhibit surprisingly petty and vindictive behaviors. There are too many other mediocre, average, good, and great local banks locally who will treat you better to waste your time mulling around with these jokers until they fail and you have to move on anyway. Do yourself a small favor. Make First Resource your Last Resource! read more
