My company received am online inquiry from an individual named Karan Moorjani, who according to his…read moreLinkedIn profile, works for this company. We contacted him back in a timely manner and had a lengthy conversation with him about an account he wanted to try and place with us. Apparently, he (or BatchOut) has a client that was recently shut down by their upstream provider and they were looking for a new home for the client. Karan was unable to provide basic information to us as to why the merchant was shutdown. He insisted that he had all of the merchant's information, including social security number, tax returns and past merchant account statements, but he could not provide basic information as to why the merchant's previous provider terminated them. After a lengthy back and forth, we told Karan that we were not a good fit and did not want to pursue the opportunity and then we ended the call. Karan Moorjani apparently did not like the fact that we didn't want to work with him or his client and immediately wrote a negative review about us on Google. In his review, he mistated the truth and said we abruptly hung up on him after speaking for 15 minutes when in reality, we spoke with him for more than 30 minutes and respectfully told him we were not interested before the call was disconnected. Watch out for Karan Moorjani and BatchOut. Their professional conduct is lacking and if they don't hear what they want, they appear prone to responding in an immature way and trying to hurt you or your business. I would avoid this individual and company.
