I needed help moving a bedroom + living room + dining room in within San Francisco…read more Sunny quickly and clearly communicated with me, and they were available both via Yelp and by phone. It was easy to make a moving reservation. The movers were punctual and worked quickly/diligently. They wrapped all items and took care to protect our furniture. They moved us at a good price. I would use them again and recommend them to any friend moving.

Reliable, efficient, and a good value!…read more We found them by Googling and looking at Yelp, they have very high ratings which I now know why. This was for a one-way move from the Bay Area to Nevada, about a 4+ hour drive. Cost: reasonable and better than some other companies which wanted much much more. Fixed price based on what I described we had to move. I conferred w Nancy via phone, text, email. 4% fee if credit card is used. $200 deposit, can pay by cash/check/Venmo or Zelle. I used a cash app. There's no written contract. Moving day: Last month: movers Bao & Deng, don't speak English but seemed to understand us. Owner/supervisor Nancy came to out house to see, a surprise! Their moving truck was clean. Moved items from house and storage facility. They padded and plastic wrapped bigger items like sofa, dresser, desk, etc. They are efficient and know their stuff - what would've taken me and my family 3-4 hours to move they finished in 30 minutes! Nothing broken, nothing damaged. Payment: $200 cash tip each. $2,100 final payment via Cash App. Reliable, efficient movers, would use them again!

Both times they were remarkably punctual and professional, and all of our belongings and furniture were perfectly intact. Special recognition for Roberto and Jose, who handled everything with grace despite the Bay Area local help not showing up, and the new apartment being pretty much all stairs. They were tremendous, and we will absolutely use WCMS for any future moves.

Just talked to them to get an estimate and they told me they charge 11% fuel charge based on the…read morehourly rate and number of hours worked. I asked why when fuel is not being consumed while loading / unloading. The answer that is what we do. Wow, that is strange to charge $13.00 per hour for a truck not using fuel. Additional there is a min 30 min travel time charge which would be an additional $65 for this move. Not using them! This also appears to be illegal in California "Unfair Competition Law (UCL): Charging for a service not rendered (like fuel not used) can be argued as "unfair or deceptive" under California Business and Professions Code § 17200, especially if the surcharge is used as a hidden profit center rather than a cost recovery tool." Below is a reply and here is my response: The information about the fuel fee was presented to be based on a percentage of the total move time. Not your actual cost, which I would have been okay with. I'm not asking for anything to be waived, just transparency. Your remarks about your family are completely out of line. It's clear you want to change the subject from your questionable practice and make this personal. It is not personal. I don't know you other than how you have presented your business here. Very Questionably. I see you removed your statements about your family business. I provided the law that it appears you are not following in a private message. Here it is again: Unfair Competition Law (UCL): Charging for a service not rendered (like fuel not used) can be argued as "unfair or deceptive" under California Business and Professions Code § 17200, especially if the surcharge is used as a hidden profit center rather than a cost recovery tool.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!…read more The movers showed up on time and SWIFTLY moved my 20 self packed bins, disassembled a bed frame, took my old desk and chair for recycling, beat me to the new address and got me moved in with the bed reassembled in 2 hours COLD! Added bonus: the move came to just over 500.00 for a move from El Cerrito to Oakland. A few years ago, Starving Students did the reverse move in 5 hours and charged me more than double. I'd move again just to have this level of service!

Not sure how I drew the short end of the stick with this one…read more.. I hired Jay's Small Moves for a packing job only. I had alternative plans for the moving portion. My packers came on time and ready to go and finished in close to the quoted time. That's where the positiives end. I needed help due to physical limitations and I feel like I've been taken for a ride. Everything I owned had been haphazardly shoved into boxes with minimal padding (and in some cases, my own clothing used as padding). Things were sloppily labeled and it took me weeks to wort thru all of the boxes labeled vaguley (i.e. "Closet Stuff", "Kitchen") with no further indication of what was actually in most boxes. My laptop was shoved into a box without padding and pressed against the cardboard. It's now dented and wont turn on. Empty boxes from the pantry and essentially trash had been packed away, even though I requested no perishables or open items be packed. Items of note that were thrown into a box without care/packaging: - glass scale - my MacBook Pro (not functioning anymore) - culinary spray bottle (broke) - dirty pans from the stove (I requested these be left on the stove for future use) - matching shoes in DIFFERENT boxes - various office/computer electronics (jostling around, no padding) I still need to do a full audit of damages caused by careless packaging, but just the laptop and immediately noticeable damaged office equipment is thousands of dollars of damage. So the realtively affordable packing job costed me much more than anticipated in damages, time, and overall effort. If you hire these guys, you'll need to watch them like a hawk and I pray you're not disadvantaged in a way they think they can take advantage of.

At first when I sent him the $100 deposit through PayPal for some reason it sent an echeck which would take awhile to clear. Hearing Clayton's concerns I sent the $100 again through Venmo and paid the rest of the balance on Venmo. I asked him that once the echeck clears to please send back the $100. He gave me his word that he would. To this day he still hasnt and in his own words "measley $100". This attitude change all started when he took my shrink packing that I purchased and btw he was going to charge me $80 to use his own! So i decided to purchase my own and of course he took it when he knew it was mine. When you see the text thread you will see how becomes very rude. It's unfortunate because I wanted to give this guy a chance. But once trust is broken I WILL NOT REFER ANY BUSINESS TO THIS LOWLIFE. Again to this day he still has t returned my $100 not given back my shrink wrap. If you look at the owners comment to my review that should be enough to decide that this guy is delusional and had a few screws loose. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this "company" Note to Clayton, grow up, be a man, stop playing the victim and have some integrity! Was this worth $100 that you stole from me?!

Didn't present contract and took total advantage of me,they snuck out of my home and left things everywhere even their packing materials. I have items and screws missing nothing is back together or in place this has been the worst experience. Update Clayton the owner reply's after blocking my attempts/Calls He calls me sick and a liar (very professional) he also states that I paid him for 1300 (false) to move furniture from Concord to Antioch (tops 45 mins) & within the same statement he makes claims that I wanted him to work for free ? You removed and tore furniture apart including the Tvs. Notice how he didn't clear up disappearing with my furniture for hours claiming to have run out of gas but used the excuse to go through my personal belongings and take my items! Thank god for calls being tracked and the camera footage which shows what he left with but didn't return. He doesn't present contracts because he's not legally able to. I hope that you get well and stop taking advantage of our communities to support your drug habit. Shame on you!
