I stopped in to cash a simple check from a friend for $1,200 since I live in the area. The guy I…read moredealt with, JENO SINGSON, was a complete clown. Ironically his job title is "Relationship Banker" and said he's been there for six months. It shows. He literally spent 45 minutes typing, staring at me, typing, squinting, and then went to the back to call the check maker. He came back and admitted everything was good but continued to ask all kinds of questions like he was on the verge of cracking a huge crime syndicate. I said if the check maker confirmed the check was good why do you look so upset? No answer. Maybe he called the FBI and they were coming to get me for removing the tags on my mattress 3 years ago. Hope not. Finally, he snapped out of it, probably because it was closing time. He handed me the money and I said is this really the way you treat people? No response. I said you're seriously a "Relationship Banker"? He stared at me. I left quite impressed with the business skills this "relationship banker" had accumulated in his 6 month banking career.

Very nice , very friendly. they submitted the request. Later that day late afternoon person called me but I missed the call. I called back immediately since I was sure the answer to my request was what they were calling me for. Upon calling back was informed the person was on break but would call me back. I said no problem they could even call me the next day in the AM. well it's been 3 days and no call. I didn't bother to call back as I can assume my answer was NO to the loan but it would have been professional and courteous to speak to me and tell me. I've been in sales and dealt with customers for years and I never would have thought of just not calling back. Sad.

I rarely use ATM but Monday is basically the only free day I have to go to the bank this week because my son had no school due to Juneteenth. Unfortunately, banks are also closed. Was trying to decide which to go to during my lunch break (Santa Ana versus Tustin) yesterday and opted for the farther one from my work (because I'm from Hawthorne, not tryna die and know better) to withdraw money from ATM that's in a riskier area. Both my iPhone and Yelp say Tustin is still open, but this branch is def shutdown. Begrudgingly, I drove to Santa Ana and immediately noticed a dude sitting in a parked beige Lexus SUV with his rear view mirror in perfect view of the ATM. In a vacant bank parking lot. Where there are other spaces he could have taken. I thought, meh, I really need to use the ATM, so I did my thing but the card didn't work and went on my way. Aftering calling the bank on my drive back in to work my conscience got the best of me and I called the Santa Ana police to report the sketch dude in the vehicle sitting in the empty bank parking lot facing the ATM machine on a day it's closed. Be careful, everyone. Times are tough. Turns out when I got my wallet stolen from my office by a student at the trade school I worked at in November and had a new debit card reissued I forgot that I had switched a toggle button on my app that blocks use of my debit card at an ATM until I go into my app to unblock it that's a pretty nifty anti-theft feature. And reason #28373 that I'm a geriatric millennial. ‍

Just when I thought I had the best Chase financial experience figured out the day prior( review) in Fontana, California - Andres, Jose and their awesome team and stellar care pulled me back in and hence this review. This is a cool branch with a nice design. Andres greeted me with a big smile and welcome right away and upon inquiring the nature of my visit took me over to the fantastic Jose who had the deposit slip and blue pen ready. Loved it! Jose was a bundle of energy and a great worker. Great conversation while taking care of the transaction 1-2-3! He covered everything and ensured all was good and if I needed anything else. Andres then took the baton again and did the extraordinary finish with the offer for a bottle of water( by the way no Chase bank in the US has done that) and walked me to the door. The other team members here were happy and relaxed. This branch is in the back of a shopping center and is next to the Mother's Market & Kitchen and Starbucks and across the street from the LA Fitness. Waze takes you right to it and you probably will not see any markers or signs until you are smack in front of this location. The " Chase" for the # 1 Chase bank branch has taken an interesting turn.

We truly appreciated how approachable and supportive she was during the entire process. We also had a wonderful conversation with her while we waited for things to be resolved. Fernando went above and beyond. He was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making sure everything was handled correctly. He took the time to clearly explain each step, worked through the issues with care, and made sure we understood exactly what was happening and how to move forward.
