After…read morethe Palisades fire, we hired Fernando to help with debris removal and restoration work on our property. Unfortunately, he was unable to complete the job because he did not have the proper licensing required to perform the work. We waited over four months for him to obtain his contractor's license, but he failed the test and never became properly qualified. We ultimately had to hire another licensed, reputable contractor to finish the job correctly. To make matters worse, after our new contractor completed the cleanup and restoration, Fernando illegally dumped debris from his roll-off back onto our cleared lot. When I confronted him, he admitted doing it and promised to reimburse the cost we incurred to have it removed -- yet three months later, we are still waiting for payment. Adding insult to injury, Fernando is using a set of photos of our home on his Google profile as an example of his "work" in the Palisades. This is completely misleading -- he did not complete the project and did not have the proper HAZWOPER certification to handle or dispose of debris. We trusted Desert Dry Restoration during a very difficult time and were met with unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and additional expense. I strongly recommend verifying licenses and credentials before hiring and would not recommend this company based on our experience.

Highly recommend Night and Day Restoration for your consideration!…read moreIt's been close to 2 yrs since first meeting and discussing options and about 18 mos since Kian and crew came and worked their magic. They were referred by our plumbing contractor, who found the initial signs of water leakage and eventually, the mold. Once Kian's crew began, they meticulously handled everything. It took a good week to week and a half for the team to carefully box and clear everything from a bathroom, bedroom and closet, where the mold had travelled, and tear out the affected moulding, wall board insulation and carpeting. Upon removal of all the damaged materials from our house they also took care of the disposal. They then left a few turbo fans in the rooms for several days to thoroughly dry the areas. And when our gen. contractor was finished reinstalling and painting everything, Night and Day came back to move all the furniture back into place, just like the end of The Cat in the Hat story! LOL We were SO happy with their work - professionalism and friendly demeanor - that we hired them to remove our 20+ yr old carpeting from an adjacent room which we decided to redo with LVT. Again, they did an excellent job with removal and disposal of both carpet, pad and tac strip and thoroughly vacuuming all the very fine, settled dust that got filtered through over the many years.
