The expressway was so backed up because of the accident it was going to take my brother forever to even get to us to take us all home. Mark loaded up my Jeep and had us hop in with him and had us put our dog on our lap so he wouldn't be by himself in the Jeep and took us to an exit where there was a gas station/subway so it was easier for my brother to get to us. When we got to Subway he jumped out of his truck and went in and got a cup of water for our dog and stayed with us until my brother got there to make sure we were okay. Please see google review for additional information, but I will just say that dispatcher Christine did a great job of being forthcoming about who called to have my car impounded. It was a disgruntled resident who did NOT have prior authorization to call a towing company for cars parked in the carport. She was unable to even provide documentation that she herself was allowed to park in the carport. Driver Thomas was unwilling to allow me to resolve this issue with cash, but he drove off without towing once the cops showed up. He did not speak to a LEO and claimed, "It's Easter and I don't want to deal with this." I will be seeking legal counsel to discussion next steps in this process, as the unlawful towing attempt resulting in my car being scraped. Based on the other reviews, this company has a horrible track record in professionalism, service, and fees associated with their services. Of course the car needed to be towed. As her parents, we were called immediately and got to the scene of the accident as soon as we could. Before we were able to get there, a tow truck had already been called. We are AAA members and our daughter had asked to call AAA. The officer prohibited her from making the call. This forced us to deal with Wall Street towing and left us with a very large bill and much inconvenience. We were there twice cleaning out the car. And then when we were there to turn the title of the car (which was totaled) over to Wall Street we were presented with a bill for $600.00 which needed to be paid for in cash. We were not made aware of their cash only policy. Since we were there at the end of the day we were not able to get $600.00 from the ATM because it exceeded our withdrawal limit for the day. We returned the next morning to close the transaction which was a big inconvenience. In addition, when you open the door to the office, you are overwhelmed with the smell of cigarette smoke. Very offensive. We were not informed of the amount of the bill or the fact that we needed to pay in cash. I am guessing that very few people carry that much cash around and we have not encountered other businesses that have this policy. In fact, we have had several experiences with cashless businesses. The policy of 'cash only' is extremely inconvenient and very outdated. Especially when we were given no choice about who we were doing business with. The manager did not show any interest in providing good customer service. She only stated her right to run her business the way she saw fit. By her tone and quick arguments, we suspect that she has had similar conversations with other customers. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WALL STREET TOWING.

They REPEATEDLY told him that "a driver will be there in 15 minutes! He waited from 3 PM to 10 PM. When I called the number for them online, the first thing that I asked was who contracts them the most frequently in Ann Arbor. The man said " What?" I said "What businesses or institutions contract you the most frequently in Ann Arbor?" He replied, "MA'am, do you need a tow truck? We're busy and it's cold out" then hung up on me. They literally forced someone to wait outside in the cold for 6 hours, always saying "15 more minutes and a driver will show up!" It's so unprofessional to have multiple names for the same business, NOT have a website, NOT accept credit card payments, lie ("15 more minutes" turns into 6 hours of waiting outside, refuse to answer questions AND rudely bring up the fact that it's cold outside (don't customer service reps sit inside)? This isn't even a business. Y'all need to stop leaving negative reviews and instead contact IRS about the company potentially not paying taxes and potentially committing tax fraud. They don't have customers, leaving a bad review won't help. But contacting an organization to investigate them might put them out out of business if they go to prison for "accidentally" not reporting the entirety of their paid ONLY in cash earnings.

I had no idea what was wrong with my car. I explained the issue to the tow driver, who arrived in about an hour's time. He didn't offer any solutions or suggestions, but I was still grateful for his professionalism and timeliness. He also allowed me to ride with him to my home - which was supremely valuable.
