Absolutely no stars. We've waited over 5 hours and there's still no sign of them. Initially, they promised a window of 60-90 minutes. That soon grew to include another 45 minutes, followed by an extra 20, then yet another 20, and finally, they claimed it would be only 10 more minutes. That was well over 5 hours in the past. Regrettably, instead of providing an alternative towing service, Progressive Insurance just asked us to continue waiting. I'll be posting my critique of their services shortly. Honestly, don't bother spending your precious time or hard-earned money on this service. read more

I'm lucky. My battery died at home. I called Progressive and this was the number they sent with the ETA for help. They were at my home within 45 minutes, and the awesome guy who jumped my battery gave us all the info we needed. He tested the battery and checked the date, and suspected it would not last long even after the jump and shared his company would bring a battery and replace it if I requested it. Initially, I thought this all had to be done through Progressive, but nope. I called them on my own and get it done. And so I did. Tee took 22 minutes to arrive to my house and within 15 minutes my battery was changed, and the car was ready to go for less than it would have taken to be jumped and driven to an auto parts store for the right battery. I was given advice about how long it would last, and I am considering taking on AAA at some point just because of how great the experience was. Very thankful for them, but also super lucky that I was already home and safe. read more

My insurance company's roadside assistance program called this company - their original estimate was 1-2 hours, then they updated to another 45 minutes later, then another 30 minutes later. A total of 4 hours so far and they're still not here. Do not use this company. UPDATE: After waiting 5 hours, they cancelled on me. Another tow company came within 45 minutes. read more

If you like excuses and sitting for hours along the highway, this is the company for you. If you want a professional company that will show up in a timely manor and take care of business, definitely don't call these guys ! If I could give them negative stars it would still be to good for this company. read more

This company is absolutely horrible, after contacting my insurance company. They contacted this so called company. They lied and said they showed up. Let me guess I just left and drove away with a flat tire. They were a no show and their reviews online clearly show why no one should use this company. read more

no stars! Horrible. I've been waiting sins 1pm for a tow through AAA. They said at 2pm they arrived how ever its 4pm..... they still have not made it here. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING REGARDING AAA TOWING SERVICE. I ultimately canceled my AAA request and submitted another one and got them again. I ended up canceling that one as well after 1 hour wait. read more

ZERO stars. Waited 5 hours and they still haven't shown up. First, we were given a 60-90 minute window. Then it was extended another 45 minutes. Then another 20. And another 20. Then we were told 10. That was more than 5 hours ago. Unfortunately, Progressive Insurance keeps telling us to wait longer instead of sending a different towing service. Their negative review will be coming next. Seriously, don't waste your time or money on these guys. read more

Stay away from these guys. To be fair to them, the service was relatively fast and effective. However, the moment they had all of the leverage; when it was midnight and I wanted nothing more than to get my car to the shop so I could go to work the next day, they POUNCED. They hit me with the $60 "cleaning fee". They couldn't explain its necessity or defend its integrity other than insisting it was I who was lucky to be paying only $60 and not $120. I paid it, as I lacked any other options. When I called the next day and asked for a different explanation, none was given. My insurance company must have dealt with these guys before, as they reimbursed me in full. PROTECT YOUR WALLet FROM HIDDEN FEES AND YOUR TEMPER FROM FLARE-UPS-- stay away read more

Would be zero stars. Set up a tow through my insurance. Driver showed up, said it was "too icy" to tow me out of the snow bank, then told me the insurance wouldn't reimburse them due to these conditions? Hmmm..that's odd since triangle towing pulled me out of a snow bank just 2 nights ago with no problem. Then the dude tells me it would be a $175 charge to pull me out. What a scam. Clearly trying to make double the money by charging me and collecting an insurance payment. Was also super rude, didn't explain anything, and totally unprofessional. I called my insurance company and they sent out triangle towing, who towed me out with professionalism and ease. This company is lousy! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My car was parked in front of my home when Michigan Roadside came to tow my neighbor's car, apparently the driver didn't know what he was doing and let the car he was loading roll back into my car. Michigan Roadside Assistance will not take responsibility they say I have to call the driver's personal insurance? The driver will not return my calls. I am now going to have to make the claim on my own insurance and pay the deductible myself. I wasn't even present at the time of the accident. This is a very shady company, I would have given them zero stars if I could have. read more

Just bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. Waited 2 hours for roadside...to change a tire. I even called and talked to a girl who said the guy was just dropping off another vehicle and would be right to me. After an hour my time was revised to 45 more minutes. I finally asked for a newly provider, which came within 20 mins and had the tire changed in 10. I cant wait until my insurance company calls and asked while I was dissatisfied. Like why are you even doing business with this "company"? Really it's ZERO stars. read more

Left me stranded after telling me they'd be here. Had to have insurance dispatch a new truck

I have waited for 2 DAYS now for Michigan Roadside Assistant Assistance to tow my vehicle. Waited 2+ hours both times and the were a no show both times. Didn't even bother to call me and say they were not coming!! Terrible service. DO NOT USE!!! read more

I called them through Verizon roadside assistance and they told me they would be here in 90 minutes It didn't happen so needless to say I was very upset I canceled their service and have Verizon get another provider read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. I have roadside assistance through Progressive. Needed a jump, car was in the city, in a parking lot. They originally gave me an ETA of 45-60 min. I contacted them after 70 min and got a new ETA of 15-20. After 20 min I contacted them again and was given a new ETA of another 50 min. When I got upset and asked what was the problem they canceled my roadside assistance and it was ultimately picked up by another company. The lovely woman who canceled my assistance said her name was Nicole. She was probably promoted. I was stranded and my phone was dying, and she canceled. Nice. read more

Allen came to rescue me and he was extremely knowledgeable and good natured. He even guarded me on the highway while I got into his truck. He was very friendly and good natured. read more

Worst experience I've ever had with a towing company! Do NOT use them! They "completed and cancelled" my service even though the truck was not taken to destination. Nor did they contact insurance company to communicate that they did not take it. Do not allow your insurance company to dispatch this company if they try. Just horrible. read more

This service is horrible. If I could give negative stars I would! I was told 90 minutes...4 and a half hour later I'm still waiting. Finally someone called and said they were coming from Farmington. Why couldn't they do that 3 hours ago??? read more

If I can give no star it would have been that. My daughter had a battery problem in Ann Arbor and called this guys. They came and offered her to change battery on site instead of towing a reliable battery shop. They took advantage of her inexperience and gave a credit card payment receipt charging almost double price. On the receipt there is nothing to explain battery change and warranty information. I called them several times, sent several emails through their website and through my email requesting a complete receipt showing the date and warranty information about the battery. No answer. It happened on April19, 2018. Still waiting. Stay away from them read more

Never showed up then told my insurance company they tried calling me many times but they did not call once.

NEVER use this company. They lost my keys during the tow. How? I'm not sure. They refuse to help. And blocked my number so I am unable to talk to them. The driver and the truck smelled like weed. The driver almost ran a red light and got in an accident on the way to the body shop. Terrible company. NEVER use this company. If you see this company run the other way! read more

This was the provider setup though my roadside assistance program for towing, they gave me a four hour estimated wait time. An hour after the time I was quoted I called and found out it would be another half hour. An hour after that I called and was told it would be another 90 minutes. Fast and friendly they are not. I tried to email them though their own website to deal with this without leaving a review to have my email pop back undeliverable. At this point I'm still waiting for someone to pickup my car 7 hours after my first phone call. read more
