He was busy, but he shuffled his schedule and arrived at my house early Sunday afternoon. He assessed the damage, gave me a very reasonable quote, and proceeded to repair things properly sending me photos of the various steps along the way. Before dinner he had completed everything and my roof looked great as the tiles he replaced matched perfectly. I was very impressed with his professionalism and workmanship. I really like John Trevino, the owner and operator of JET Quality Drywall. He's an honest,…read morehardworking guy who cares about doing the job up to the customer's expectations. He helped me and Jonathan W. complete some drywall repair and painting that had to get done in a hurry, and I'm pleased with the results. John worked on our drywall with his nephews Andrew and Jonathan, who were friendly and nice but not as meticulous as John. But all we had to do was point out problem areas and John made sure we were satisfied. John took the time to explain technique, too, which was helpful since my husband has done and will continue to do repair jobs as we remodel our house. John even offered to come back out and help train us on how to spray wall texture. I don't think it's JETs standard protocol, but John and my husband painted the kitchen together, which I thought was cool. Again, it gave my husband a chance to get the benefit some professional experience, and it made the job go faster. John was also able to get good paint at a lower price than what Pittsburg Paints offers to the public, too. Our loft area proved too daunting, since we didn't have any scaffolding, so we called JET again. We'd already taped and floated the ceiling when we removed the acoustic texture, and my husband had corrected some of the popped seams on the walls, but the highest areas still needed repair, and the whole room needed paint. My husband wasn't able to be home for the first day when they were re-taping and floating some areas. When I got home, I was really upset. It just wasn't the same quality we'd gotten from them before, so my husband called John and explained our concerns. The next day, they walked through the area together and John agreed to correct the issues we had. Though it took an extra day, he was able to make things right. We would have had a tough time doing such a good job (especially on the 20 foot high areas) ourselves. John's prices are very reasonable, and I think he's a trustworthy person to have working in your home. Though we had one disappointment, John made sure the final product was satisfactory. I would call him again.

Honey will you call around this week and find someone to fix that hole in our bathroom?…read more (2 weeks later) Hey hon, did you find someone to fix the drywall? (oh yes dear, called around, one guy is suppose to call me back) (2 weeks later) Did the drywall guy call back? (oops forgot, no he hasn't) (1 week later) Honey will you please make it a point to have someone scheduled to at least come by to give us an estimate on the dry wall by the end of the week? and possibly fix it before my parents come? (oh yes, of course dear) (end of week rolls around) *in an annoyed voice* So you didn't complete the one task I asked you to complete? (I guess this was a dumb question, since that dreaded hole in the wall was still staring me in the face.) I learned my lesson. Ladies out there, if you want something done, do it yourself. Don't ask your man to do it..it seems they don't understand what "getting things done" mean. It doesn't mean after the football game is over, it doesn't mean after they get to the next achievement level of god knows what shoot 'em up Xbox game is IN these days, and it certainly doesn't mean 2 months later. I called JET (John Trevino) on a Saturday afternoon, after yelping "drywall repair". I read Jill's review and was sold. After all she had JET listed in her "House Remodeling List" and well..I'm kind of starting that process. John agreed to show up and take a look at the damage later that same day. Maybe hubby just picked out duds when he called around. Maybe these duds really never returned calls or called back when they said they would, but John certainly wasn't a dud. He gave me a specific time window of when he would arrive and stuck to it. So for one, this guy is punctual. Calls me back when he says he will call me back. Arrives when he says he will arrive. Calls me if he is running late. Seems like a pretty simple trait that everyone should have, but unfortunately that hasn't been our experience with other contractors as of late. The price was reasonable, no surprise added costs at the end, the work was professional and completed on time as scheduled. On top of that John and his helper (brother, cousin?) were very nice, easy to talk to, and just overall I got that "he seems like a good guy" type of vibe, which is good considering I'm going to need more help around the house. My walls are bare. I've got a fever, a fever for more color. The only remedy now is more JET Painting.

Some screws got water seeping down around them and water drained through to my ceiling. At least one so far, of the screws was not sealed/repaired properly and continued to leak. I called Texas Roofers several times and sent several emails after they made the repair to both the main owner and the secondary owner of the company. The main owner did reply once and said the secondary owner would get in touch with me and that he would contact him to make sure he would call me. The secondary owner/president never returned my phone calls. I was told his wife had a baby and I was patient in waiting, but he never followed through with a return call or email. The secondary owner is the one that did the work or had his staff do the work. I asked the main owner to follow up again. He ignored that email. I had another roofer come out because I had no choice and they showed me a video of the repair from before. It was not done well and not done with proper materials. I am more upset that the Texas Roofers decided not to call me back. I don't know if they were worried about the job that they did or if they worried about having to come out to provide some part of the follow up service for free. Texas Roofers was unprofessional both in quality of work and customer service.

PERFECT experience from start to finish…read more In short, my whole neighborhood required new roofs because of the last April hail storm so I got to see hundreds of roof companies come in and out of here. There was one house in particular that had the most beautiful and professional result so I decided to knock on their door to see who did theirs and the happily referred me to Cardinal. Boy am I ever glad I did! Even while still being fully busy Curtis treated me like I was the only customer in the world. He was quick to come out and give the quote and full service in working with my insurance to correct the bid and pricing that was ALL WRONG. I literally did nothing and he worked with them to make sure it was at sorted out. Roof day came and it was all swift and very professional. The crew was expert, professional and kept the grounds very clean. Check out my before and afters, gorgeous! In addition, I had some really bad water damage to the back of my house and Curtis went above and beyond to have a crew come in and correct it. It required new siding, trim and even a new back door. The back of my house looks and feels like a new house now! Again, all the crews who came on site were professional, nice and delivered the highest quality work. I am beyond pleased with my choice. Curtis is wonderful and someone I would recommend whole heartedly. Besides being the best at what he does, he is a great human that cares about other people. I'd give my money and business to Cardinal again and again. And I hope you do to! You will LOVE the results!

There were several inspection issues that needed to be addressed. Joe himself answered the company phone number, he came right out with a couple of guys to give us an estimate, and he fit us into his schedule right away. He doesn't use salesmen; he looks at your project and gives you the estimate himself. His quote was very reasonable. He replaced over 100 feet of rotten fascia wood and all the gutters on my son's house. He painted the new wood, added more downspouts, installed new gutters and even painted the downspouts to match the blue siding of the house. I don't even know how he matched the color! In addition to the gutters, he created a new chimney cap that went OVER the siding up the chimney, instead of under, which prevents water from seeping behind the siding and causing rot. He also painted all the thru-roof flashings. We couldn't have been more impressed with the end result. In short, Joe is a good man who does really good work. Capco has an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, they have been in business for 42 years as of 2025, and they do so much more than roofs and gutters. If you need work done on your home, give Joe a call and include Capco in your list of estimates. I believe you will be glad you did. Best wishes to you.
