    Cedar chest,boxes marked fragile,patio sofa.

It took about a week and a half to get our stuff. I guess I should be thankful contractually they are allowed 14 days, it still sucked living like a squatter and eating out every day for every meal. They stuffed a bunch of stuff in the cedar chest including some framed artwork and it looks like they drug it here behind the truck (see photos). Many boxes marked fragile are crushed severely. The only reason they get 2 stars is that the "crew" that showed up, a young man and his wife who couldn't have been much more than 200lbs combined did a great job bringing our stuff in and setting up the beds. Oh yeah the price quoted, around 4000.00 doubled to 8000.00 in the day of pick up. Apparently there's a guy in Sacramento who is legit. These are the guys I'm reviewing: Customer Service at 708-575-6655 or via email at service@firstclassmovers.org. We have a very high call volume; email is the best way to reach us. We appreciate your patience and look forward to updating you soon. Thank you! Sincerely, Dana S. Sideboard wet and disintegrating due to sitting in water

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOUR BELONGINGS TO ARRIVE undamaged/destroyed. As others have documented, First Class movers does not care about you or your property. Once they have your money no one will speak to you or respond to texts. EVERY piece of our furniture was severely damaged. All of the furniture and several boxes were soaking wet. The furniture was growing mold and disintegrating due to sitting in water. Several boxes were so wet that they literally were falling apart. When I reached out to the owner Doug, it took 4 calls and a few texts before he responded 'contact customer service'. No one in customer service (Elizabeth) returned any of our calls. She did send a claim form. The damage to my property is clearly from being stored in a wet building/storage locker while waiting to be loaded on the truck. This is First Class movers mistake - it had nothing to do with the way items were packed by me. I have included just a few of the photos showing how badly damaged our possessions were.

Organized it in my garage instead of just dumping and leaving..this shows true professionalism!

Being in the military I move quite often and seen the best and the worst when it comes to moving companies, but I had an Awesome experience with this company..professional individuals that introduced themselves and got to work ASAP! scheduled a light move that's less than 2 hours (140$)..fellas work fast and efficient. I needed a few major items (Washer, dryer, mattress) moved to the second floor of my new home and these guys moved the items carefully, making sure they don't damage the home or any of the appliances.. You can't beat the price and professionalism of this business Keep up the good work fellas!

He even tried to upcharge me for the 4th mover but luckily I saved the quote that Alex gave me. Well it took 11.5 hours (not including their lunch break) with 4 movers and they still didn't move everything. We just had to stop the time because it was getting so late. 3 of the guys were nice and they did most of the work, but Eric was a bit pushy and was always on his phone or going on a break. They took too many breaks (lasting 15-20 min each) and their lunch break was 2 hours. So they were off to a slow start in the morning. I really did not like that Eric tried to convince me to go to Home Depot to buy more moving boxes because they didn't have enough. As a moving company, you should have enough boxes. They were careful with my stuff, wrapping everything very carefully, but they were slow. They didn't clean anything up after they were done, left their cans, bottles, runner paper throughout the house. All in all, they were okay. Just really slow. This job should not have taken 11.5 hours

I sent out a moving request on Yelp and received a message promptly regarding price and availability. After getting the necessary information, I went ahead with booking. A couple of days before the move, I saw rain in the forecast and reached out to see if things would still move forward. Rain or shine, everything still went on as planned. Manny and Trey arrived on time and got to work ASAP. They loaded everything on the truck at the two requested locations and headed to Sacramento. Once we got to Sacramento, they started unloading everything. The move was to the 3rd floor of an apartment building with no elevator and down the hall from the stairs. Though it was a tough move, Manny and Trey were both patient, kind, and efficient. They even cracked a few jokes, and we shared some laughs. It began to rain at the end of the move, and they still continued with a positive attitude. I am so grateful for their hard work, amazing service, and dedication to helping me get moved in. They got the job done in under 3 hours through everything. I would 1000% book with Affordable Movers again. The service was great, the movers are hardworking, and it lived up to its reputation for being affordable, too. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your service.

The crew was easygoing, efficient, and careful with our belongings. They handled a tough Sacramento-to-Los Angeles move in a single day and stayed within our budget, which we really appreciated. Overall, this was one of the best moving experiences I've had in a long time. A few items weren't handled exactly how I might have expected, but that's partly on me. I probably overpacked some boxes and assumed certain things would always stay on top. Nothing was seriously damaged or broken, and that's what matters most. I'd definitely recommend them and would use them again.

When I first reached out through Yelp, they responded within minutes. I truly valued that, especially during such a challenging time around the world. On moving day, the two movers arrived right on time. They worked efficiently while handling all my belongings with great care. They also went the extra mile by helping place boxes and furniture exactly where we needed them in the new apartment. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their service and would highly recommend them. If you're looking for a reliable, affordable, and professional moving company, I would definitely suggest giving them a try.

From start to finish, the move took just under 5 hours. They made the move fun and packed while playing some old school jams! They used blankets and plastic wrap around furniture for extra padding. Not a single item was damaged! They even lower the dolly very gently when unloading boxes. They packed everything like Tetris masters into the 26ft truck and made it 1 trip. When unloading at the new house, they confirmed where we wanted each box and piece of furniture unloaded.
