Move summary: One bedroom's worth of items moving from a storage unit, roll up door, ground floor, truck pulled up a couple feet away, into studio apartment two flights up, no elevator.
Total move: 6 hrs
Expected: 3-4 hrs
Movers: 2
Drive: 50 min
Overall, I must say that I'm quite unsatisfied with First Class Movers and their level of professionalism, care for my belongings, and speediness in getting the move done.
Received verbal confirmation the day prior. Morning of, I was notified of the arrival time. An hour before the movers were expected, I was notified of the service having to be changed to mid-afternoon due to some unforeseen circumstance; accidentally, they had my phone number mixed up with a different client for whom they did have to switch times on - my move was on schedule - phew.
The movers were slow and pretty rough with some items. I've done moves with my same belongings a handful of times in the past (minus a few boxes plus one table), and no where close to six hours did it take. This move usually takes 2-4 hours to complete with a 25-35 min drive in between (4 hours for when there were 1.5 flights of stairs and the guys helped me pack about ~1/4 of my items into boxes as well as wrap all my furniture). This time, there was a 50 min drive and two flights of stairs, with a couple of pieces of furniture needing wrapping, other than that all other items were packed and stacked in the storage unit. First Class Movers took 90 minutes to load the truck, and in a less organized manner than other movers), for a job that typically takes 45-50 minutes for two movers.
What could have saved time was if the guys didn't spend almost 10% of the time on their phones and 10% of their time standing around chatting with each other.
At one point, one of the movers commented, "the stairs were too much." The other mover even called out at least twice about trying to hire someone off the street to help with the move. I think, that's why I hired movers.
Not only was the move delayed and slow, a few things were broken and damaged, including the stand upon which my plasma TV was mounted. The movers didn't want to take responsibility for it and, rather, adamantly blamed me and what they call my "reckless driving" in breaking it. (I'll have you know that I drive a 6-speed manual transmission and that I drive well and safely). In securing the TV to the truck on the move up, one of the guys strapped it in to the truck wall quite snugly and cranked down on the strap such that the TV was angled off perpendicular noticeably, by about 5-10 deg. Upon unloading, the guys found it broken. Both sides of the mount broke in half, with the TV still on, and now, the TV no longer stands up.
Unpacking, I found shards of broken ceramic lining the cardboard of the dish set I received from my relatives. And yet another box of dishes and glass, of which I pointed out to the movers twice as being a box of dishes, sounded of ceramic clinking as one of the movers whipped it off his shoulder and placed it onto my kitchen floor, suddenly asking what was in it. I haven't gotten to unpacking it yet and hope I won't find anything broken.
Additionally, the corners of the wooden legs of my couch were damaged. It was a very expensive couch and I've had it for 10+ yrs. The guys dismantled the legs from the couch as well as the door from its frame in trying to squeeze the couch in through my doorway. They struggled getting the legs back on, didn't at all notify me of the issue. When moving my couch into storage the following day (because it ended up not fitting), I discovered the center screws on all legs protruding several mm, they no longer sit flush with leg bottom. The other issue is that my front door is now misaligned: it takes a yank to close it, and the deadbolt is sticky. The movers said they screwed the door hinge back in just fine and the door was fine. I will need to call building maintenance to have it fixed.
Overall, this was my worst moving experience. I would not recommend this moving company, at least, with the two movers that helped me unless they can treat their jobs more professionally. I was just coming off an injury where I was on crutches for 8 months and had to step in so the move would get done. In the beginning, I clearly pointed out my injury so it didn't seem that I was just standing around setting some standard for less than optimal work ethic.

ETA 11 AM Actual 11:15. Plasma TV wouldn't fit appropriately in backseat nor was the idea suggested. Items were clearly delineated prior to move. On moving day, there was less one couch. Yes, wear-and-tear on walls OK. Mishandling of belongings, not OK. I should have noted that we agreed 50:50 blame on the TV, and they reduced my fee 1 hour, initially having offered me 30 min (cost of TV: $2000). Broken dishes etc and lost time, I have not been compensated for. The movers worked hard only in the last 2 hours of 6. Yes, great job in the last 2 hrs read more
