This was my favorite CPR class that I have attended! Marianela did a great job ensuring that we understood the procedures for CPR in different situations (Pool, choking, adult/child, or infant, etc.) as well as plenty of hands-on practice. I came dressed for a good compressions workout, and this class delivered that! Marianela shared some real-life examples to bring home why the procedures are in place. She was friendly, articulate, and efficient while still taking time to ask if we had questions and to make sure we understood the material. I plan to be back in two years for renewal! read more

I was completely dreading having to renew my CPR card. The thought of having to be in a classroom was not my idea of a fun day off but, I was totally wrong! The BLS class was so fun and informative I'll never renew my card anywhere else. The instructor was AMAZING he really made the class enjoyable and made sure everyone knew what was going on. I love that the class was so hands on and you weren't just sitting in front of a tv watching videos that don't really help you get the real affect of what you could be dealing with out there in the field. The class went beyond the norm by adding the elements of stressful situations to help you stay focused on your steps & repetition count. Best CPR class ever! It was engaging and interactive. Our instructor was Evan and he's a police officer with so much experience as well as a great sense of humor. We had the opportunity to practice hands on the entire time. We applied the techniques with immediate feedback and I especially enjoyed the simulation of a real life experience with sirens and a stress induced situation. As a teacher, I feel extremely confident that I could perform CPR on an adult or infant. If you need to get certified, this is the place to go! Taught by active duty Police officers, Firefighters, and sheriff officers.. instructors teach also in police and city/County fire departmens. Came into this class with no clue how to do CPR. The teacher was fantastic and I felt confident in my skills by the end of the class. He made sure we knew the procedure and tested us under stress. So, i took the BLS class today with Evan. It was my second time renewing my card at that place, and also my husband has been here and also loved it, but just like the first time they did not disappoint. It was pretty packed, but he managed to get every single person to participate in class, so it was not an issue. This is LITERALLY a hands on class, so if you don't like any human interaction and just want to sit in a room and watch a long video, then you're better off doing that. The instructor was funny, but very knowledgable and straight to the point. I'll be coming back in two years, and also recommending this place! read more

Took this class to renew my cpr certification and it was the best experience I've ever had! The instructor gives you his background all the experiences he's personally been though and the hands on was the best part no boring videos just all real scenarios and stories , they even have you give cpr with sirens and dim the lights and put on blue and red sirens just so you can get the feel of what it might be like in a real like emergency with all the chaos they try to teach you how to react and be calm under stressful situations. Came for BLS for Healthcare Renewal. As a nurse I have taken several BLS classes and this was by far the best. The real life stories were useful. Although many were sad, hearing the reality of them left an impact. Class cost $42 (cash), $45 (credit) and cards were received at the end. Total time spent was a little less than 1.5 hours. I've taken several Classes to renew my BLS. Every 2 years I try to motivate myself to make it through the mandatory 2-3 hr class. Renew my card and move along. I actually stumbled on this particular course on Groupon. Alright, a discount. Why not? So I called, made an appt for Saturday and called it a day. I expected the usual. In.. Run through the protocols and procedures. Out. What I got was someone who is genuinely passionate about what he does. The instructor has years upon years of experience in the field ( the instructor I got is a police officer) - bonus. He was extremely nice. Super funny and just made the class an enjoyable experience. Oh my gosh. I thought I was going to be bored but this was 2 hours of informative fun! I needed a cpr certificate for a deadline for school and found them from a friend! The instructor was informative and always lightened up the mood with jokes but made sure to be serious enough to instill the procedures! I recommend this place to anyone! I take CPR every year for work but I still have to take the AHA BLS for HCPs every two years. This is by far the best CPR class I have ever taken. It's very hands on and entertaining. Not the typical CPR class I am used to. Real life scenarios and great examples from an instructor with hands on experience. Very glad I decided to come here. read more

Credit card is $45 and cash is $42 for BLS for Healthcare Provider. Not that big of a deal, but it would've been nice to know there would be an extra $3 charge when I called about payments the day before. Family run business. My instructor on Tuesday was a cop (forgot his name already sorry), but he has a firefighter brother and nurse sister who teach on the other days. He gets right to the point of what we really need to know. Same day card. I was only there because my work wouldn't let me renew with them. My card had just expired the day before so I had to go outside. I'm kind of glad I did though. Quick class. Two hours. I would highly recommend to others even though I probably won't be back myself. read more
