I contracted them to completely repaint the walls in a townhouse that was between tenants. Luis accepted the 4 day window of time and the estimate beat competitors by thousands of dollars. What I didn't expect was the exceptional preparation and repair prior to painting. They did so much more than simply filling nail holes. They spackled and sanded every imperfection in the walls. They laid plastic and drop cloths over every floor, including the stairs. After seeing the great look of the walls, I asked Luis to paint the trim as well. The estimate he provided for this late request was unbeatable. With a ten man motivated and very personable team, they were nearing completion by the middle of the second day when I decided they should also paint the ceilings. Again another unbeatable estimate. These guys are great and fast. They even repaired a damaged base board molding next to the refrigerator at no extra cost. The completed job was great. I wanted to write a review of the great work that Hugo and…read more Noel did refinishing our living room, kitchen ceiling and three doorways in November. In the living room, Hugo and Noel replaced our dated wood paneling with drywall, refinished one entry way, the baseboards, shoe molding and the room's bay window trim and sill. In the living room, the drywall work was made more challenging as they had to fit it up against the ceiling beams and a fireplace mantle. In the kitchen, they refinished the ceiling and re-framed two doorways, that had dated louvered doors, into beautiful entryways. All work was meticulous, with perfect fit and finish. One example of the attention to detail and craftsmanship was the bay window sill replacement. Hugo took stock sill molding that was wider than the original molding and cut it to size. The result was a sill replacement looked exactly like the original. He even hand sanded the sill's corners to match the curve of the original sill. In all they did, their care for fine workmanship was evident. Words to describe Hugo, Noel and their work: professional, meticulous, prompt, courteous, friendly. Communications were great. Hugo and Noel always explained the work they were going to do that day and at the end of the day, relayed their work schedule for the next day. Each day, they arrived at the time they said they would be at our house. With all work, they took the time to ask and understand what we, as customers, wanted. Throughout the project, they asked for feedback on their work to make sure they were meeting our expectations. We were very satisfied. We highly recommend Hugo and Noel!

I then asked what the difference would be between getting a particular cabinet color (not knowing what my options were or what would be in stock without a company name), and she said custom vs semi custom are just words and that it's all pretty much custom so it wouldn't make a difference. Upon asking a few more questions, she proceeded to tell me "I'm not sure if you saw, but our company has almost a 5-star review and that's almost unheard of". I didn't know what to make of it, but considering what some of their reviews mentioned, I felt as though we were going to get the same treatment. She said she'd get back to me by Friday with a quote and a visual of the kitchen updates-- it was Tuesday that day. We gave her a call that Friday afternoon to follow up and she insisted that the cabinet company was taking a while and that she'd get back to us by Monday the latest if not over the weekend. We waited and got nothing so my husband called her the following Wednesday without ever hearing from her. She continued to reassure us that she hasn't forgotten about us and that she'd get back to us by Monday for sure. It's now been 21 days and we got no updates or any communication from them.
