This shop is absolute garbage. Had my car for 20 days and couldn't even put it together properly. Failed to reinstall bolts securing the front bumper cover to the front fenders, failed to install the fender liners properly (hanging down from the fenders), left sanding marks in the base coat so it looks like it was painted with a paint brush, failed to have the alignment done after being hit at the right front fender and wheel, and has yet to call me with a replacement right headlight after installing one that leaks (first attempt was to plastic weld the headlight brackets and it was completely crooked). If you value your car at all, take it elsewhere. I thought going to a local shop would be my best bet. Boy was I wrong. Nothing but cutting corners and excuses from them. They do not stand behind their work and does not honor their warranties. read more

Our daughter was Involved in a small non injury accident while sitting in our parked small SUV. A gentleman backed into her. Insurance information exchanged, insurance contacted. Not sure how we came to the decision to use First Aid Auto, wait yeah nevermind, we pass it constantly heading to Lowes, Target, Ross, Persmart, yada yada yada! You get the point. So we stopped in and had our daughter who was involved in the wreck to go in ask for estimate and when possible work could be done to our bumper. No dents just paint removed by accident. Our daughter is young (22) and don't like social interaction! She had an attitude body language all off. Makes no difference to us go do as we say. I know right shocking a young girl attitude, never! So she went in and right away Christine picked up on it and could tell she was not feeling the situation. We explained, we laughed and she understood! Friendly and professional she remained. I was very, very impressed by this body shop! Any time you go to a collision center you are putting full trust that they will treat you fairly, and I had no doubt with this center. It would have been very easy for them to declare my daughters car undriveable, and keep the business for themselves, but instead they did a quick fix for FREE, and sent my daughter back to Chapel Hill where the full fix will be done. They missed out on about a 4k repair, but recognized that having it fixed locally would not be in our best interest, and put our needs in front of their business needs. I dropped a watermelon when taking it out of my car. It caused a dent in my new 2015 Civic. I went by some competitors and checked quality and pricing. First Aide did the job to the highest level of perfection for a better price. Dent FX, another company, tried to rip me off in pricing. I went by First Aide without an appointment. I was in and out in under 45 mins completely satisfied. Its like the accident never happened. They did the job for $75 less than Dent FX. I recommend First Aide highly. Review of My Experience with First Aid Auto 369 Rockwood Rd. Arden, NC Stopped by and got an estimate for a complete detail and a touch up of a nick on top of the driver's side passenger door. Was quoted $175 dollars on 10-21-13. Made an appointment to drop off the car Thursday morning, 10-7 at 8 AM, was told it would be ready late afternoon, around 5:30 Thursday afternoon. Went to pick the car up at 5:30, it wasn't ready. Dakota Thayer told me they had to take extra time to get the dog hair out of the car and they wanted us to be happy with their job and the car would be ready Friday morning. Dakota called me the following morning Friday and I told him we would pick the car up around 5:30 Friday afternoon. We walked into the office and were met by a puzzled looking Dakota who after a few minutes said oh man I need to mix some paint to do the touch up, or words to that effect. We looked the car over before we went into the office and I told him that there was a new nick on the passenger side door. He said that was there and it had rust on it so it couldn't have happened there. I didn't see any rust and by this time I was getting pissed. (odd, I point out a very small nick for them to touch up and miss a much larger one on the passenger door) Instead of blowing a fuse, I told him to take the quoted price for fixing the original nick deduct it from the price and paid him. The car was supposed to be washed and hand waxed, couldn't prove it by me. When I got in the car to go home I noticed white residue on the dash and that the windows were still dirty. Just want to let folks know that this is the most expensive vacuum job on the inside of a car I have ever been aware of. Two days they had the car, I could have done better in 30 minutes at Gorilla Car Wash for less than $20 dollars. Wasted $150 bucks. Tony Brewer Arden, NC read more
