Over the last six years, I have had my Chrysler 300 fixed by them 3 times. Each time the car has…read morelooked as good as new when I picked it up. Two of the times were for minor body damage where they had to match the paint color. When I picked my car up, I couldn't tell where the damage had been even though I knew where it had been. The third time I was hit head- on from the driver's side to half the passenger side hood. Again, they did an excellent job. The car looked great! They are also very reasonably priced. My insurance company has accepted their estimates without question. Just as important, they have never talked down to me in a condensencing way. They are very courteous and polite, even when other men are gathered around. I will take my car back to them anytime it has a body problem. I also recommend them to anyone who needs to a body shop.

We were turning into the motel parking lot when someone rear-ended us and we needed to get a temporary fix on our car so we could get back on the road and have the more extensive work done closer to home. The desk clerk at the Ramada Inn recommended Carolina Auto Craft, so we took it there hoping they could do something to make it road-worthy, at least. They took the bumper clear off and taped the taillight in place, and when we went to pay them, they said "no charge". Unbelievable! They were just wonderful and kept telling us how bad they felt that this happened to us. The desk clerk told us he wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as they have always been completely honest in his dealings with them. We heartily agree! Highly recommended.

I rescheduled over the phone just days before,but I had not been contacted for this most recent change. I stated no one called she proceeded to tell me she called my husband he yelled at her & told her to never call back. So they rescheduled & did not reach out again. I said my husband would never fo that , she said he did and was very nasty.. I stated we received no call. She called me & my husband a liar. I admit I got upset & I said well this if F×!ked up. Then she called her managers both sided w her. Then I showed she had called the wrong number and she started to backtrack on statements. My husband number is listed on my estimate. She had the correct # just didn't call it. Then both managers proceeded to make me the villain. I started to cry my husband showed up proved he didn't get a call. We had driven 40 mins to drop car. The management & the woman at reception were in a word RUDE.

If we could give it a minus, we would…read more My wife brought her car in for two simple repairs. $400 later, a tank of gas later, and two days of waiting in their filthy waiting room - guess what? No repairs, no gas, and there isn't a darn thing we can do about it. Repair Number One: The mechanic kept saying to my wife that he couldn't explain to her what was wrong, but the truth is he was incompetent. Also, they ran the engine constantly while the mechanic walked off to work on other cars. Second Repair: They left her sitting in the filthy waiting room for hours and never even looked at the second repair. Their incompetent fix stopped immediately when she drove off their lot. Of course, she already paid them. Results: When she asked what the next step was they came up with a totally different diagnosis on the first repair which would cost another $300!!!!!!! The money is gone and she cannot afford another effort. Her words: If you are a woman, don't go here. Gee thanks guys, you really did a great job taking advantage of me. In the future, if you cannot repair someone's car just admit it and let them go to a mechanic who will actually repair the car.

Carz was $400 more expensive than jzm for the exact same tires on the same car. The price difference was unbelievable. A few months later, I had some lights on on my dash on my Prius. I had the red triangle of death and the check engine light. Since it seemed like it could be serious I had two different repair businesses do diagnostics. After the diagnostics JZM's price quote was $300 less than the other business I tried. I'm glad these guys are right down the road from me.

This was near closing time. They said yes, and told her the car checked out fine and their mechanic even took it for a drive to make sure. By now it is past closing time. I'm just waiting for my inspection to be done. The lady asked his much she owed....he told her "nothing." I will never go anywhere else! I was also reassured that my tires were fine but air pressure was off. They topped off all my tires and told me to bring it back in if the light didn't go off. They get as many stars as you give and then some!

After my car was totaled and the other driver's insurance did the bare minimum, I was stuck. AAA Asheville recommended Rickman's, and I'm so thankful they did. The damage to my car was almost as much as I paid for it, and insurance barely lifted a finger. But Jessica and Daniel worked incredibly hard to get the cost way down--at their own expense and time spent--just to help me get back on the road. When I couldn't pay right away, they didn't pressure me. In fact, they offered to cover a large part of the cost themselves! I did pay them, but that offer alone showed me the kind of people they are. This is the most generous, honest, and compassionate business I've ever dealt with. Each time I've brought my car in and drop it off, I have had to call 5-6 hrs later only to find it's been ready for hours. No communication at all. When I go pick up my car, he cannot explain what they did or why. I am always charged the higher amount and when I try to find out why, all he can do is walk off and try to find someone to answer questions. And then they come in and speak to me like I'm an idiot. I have a feeling they have dishonest practices- esp upselling women. This time I brought my husband who didn't fall for their false explanations. He agreed- they are dishonest and rude. Even though they are 3 minutes from my house, I will drive to Hendo or Sburg so I don't have to go back.

The hitch and bumper were smashed, and this meant we could not tow our camper back home to Phoenix. With less than a week to leave for home, our insurance company and a (unnamed) national body shop was less than worthless. So we looked around for a local body shop, and found Cran Auto Body. Mark came through quickly with a very reasonable estimate, was incredibly reassuring and explained the whole process to me. Even pointed out things he could reuse and did not need to buy. Super honest guy! The insurance company actually agreed with his full estimate! He got us on the road with a new bumper and hitch in no time, and we got home safe and sound. Very high quality work, factory OEM parts and everything. I hope to never have to use him again, but if any of you need that level of work, Crain's is the way to go. Also, a PSA. Always buy local, never go to the Walmarts of the world if you need quality work. Unless you need a whole lot of toilet paper in a hurry. In that case, go to Walmart. Though if you are in that kind of situation you perhaps need to rethink your life choices. Otherwise, buy local, spend local. You won't regret it.
