Most places are hit or miss but once you find a good one you have to share it! I was greeted immediately actually before I even walked in by the owner if I'm not mistaken. They asked what type of drink I was looking for & gave a run down of their food menu. I only had one sample but that was all I needed, she hit it on the head. Cobb Salad: I ordered it minus black olives & croutons (not braces friendly lol) but with avocado added. Yum yum! It served its purpose for dinner & lunch the next day. A small just wouldn't have done me justice. Oowee Daiquiri: Oowee is right! It was sweet with just the right amount of liquor granted the size I ordered included an extra shot. I intended on just drinking half of it & saving the rest for the next day. Guess what? I drank it all that evening - couldn't put it down. I've tried majority of the daq spots around DFW & I can say Daqs 2 Geaux is in the top 5 of my list. Thankfully it's not far from home so I will definitely be back to try some of their other flavors. Their customer service was amazing & they made sure to keep in mind me being allergic to pineapple when a sample was given & a free shot was selected for being a new customer. They even have reward punch cards, which is quite rare. Overall, I would definitely recommend Daqs 2 Geaux if your in the area !

As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted, seated and brought chips and salsa which I devoured. For starters, we had the guacamole salad and queso. We had to stop eating the queso and guacamole to save room for the main course because it was that good. My wife ordered the ground beef and shredded chicken enchiladas with all the fixings. They were very good with the red sauce and Spanish rice. The beef had a very good seasoning and the chicken had a taste like it had been marinated for a few hours. I had the beef fajitas. The beef was tender, succulent and seasoned well. The only thing that I didn't like was that the fajitas had a sweet taste to it. I believe the sweet taste was from sweet bell peppers or sweet onions, nevertheless, it was too sweet for my taste buds. We enjoyed ourselves, enjoyed the margaritas and the starters, but next time, I'll try some shrimp nachos. I give Ernesto's Mexican Restaurant three out of five drinks. Cheers!

It's rare to find a place that maintains such a high standard so reliably. Beyond the food, their bar program deserves high praise. The margaritas here are genuinely potent; they don't skimp on the tequila or water them down with cheap mixers. You get a strong, well-crafted drink that pairs perfectly with the meal. I highly recommend this spot for anyone craving great seafood and a serious margarita.

That's done for, I'm going to Soulmans from now on. Waste your time and money if you want, I'm gonna be smart.

I ordered the 10pc catfish nugget with fries and it did not meet my expectations. I expected the nuggets to be bigger or at least thicker. What I received, I could barely call nuggets. It appeared like cracklings... barely any fish at all. Because of this, I had to toss at least 4 of them (see video). On top of that, it was not seasoned well so I didn't even get a taste of satisfaction. Same with the fries - it was bland. The entire meal was a wash and I unfortunately I had to secure a back-up meal elsewhere. The menu seemed promising, but this experience left a sub par first impression. On a brighter note, the staff were very friendly and people seemed to have enjoyed their daiquiris.

At no point did my server tell me that there would be an additional $2 charge for the substitution. Had he told me, I simply would have kept the rice and beans that came with the meal. When the bill arrived, I noticed the extra $2 charge and questioned it. Instead of simply acknowledging that the additional charge had not been communicated to me when I ordered, the server sent the manager over. The manager ultimately refunded the $2, but his attitude was unnecessarily rude. He told me that the menu explains there is a $2 upcharge. Regardless of what may be printed on the menu, when a customer specifically requests a substitution that carries an additional charge, I believe the server should clearly mention it when taking the order. This wasn't really about $2. It was about communication and customer service. A simple, "Just so you know, there's a $2 upcharge for the vegetables," would have prevented the entire issue. Instead, I left feeling like my concern was treated as an inconvenience rather than a reasonable customer-service issue. I will not be returning because of how I was treated.
