What you say Daqs ?! Yeah I got you. After searching for a new daiquiri place to try I finally decided to stop by based upon previous reviews. Most places are hit or miss but once you find a good one you have to share it! I was greeted immediately actually before I even walked in by the owner if I'm not mistaken. They asked what type of drink I was looking for & gave a run down of their food menu. I only had one sample but that was all I needed, she hit it on the head. Cobb Salad: I ordered it minus black olives & croutons (not braces friendly lol) but with avocado added. Yum yum! It served its purpose for dinner & lunch the next day. A small just wouldn't have done me justice. Oowee Daiquiri: Oowee is right! It was sweet with just the right amount of liquor granted the size I ordered included an extra shot. I intended on just drinking half of it & saving the rest for the next day. Guess what? I drank it all that evening - couldn't put it down. I've tried majority of the daq spots around DFW & I can say Daqs 2 Geaux is in the top 5 of my list. Thankfully it's not far from home so I will definitely be back to try some of their other flavors. Their customer service was amazing & they made sure to keep in mind me being allergic to pineapple when a sample was given & a free shot was selected for being a new customer. The cheesesteak was good. Everything else was meh, obviously designed to be just acceptable once you are already a few drinks in. I didn't have any of their alcohol. Uber eats delivery was slow and half their menu is always sold out. I ordered what was pictured as tacos but they sent a taco salad that wasn't good. read more

So happy to have this option in Mesquite! We really needed this visibility in this area. I was pleasantly surprised by the awesome customer service! This is the main reason I will always give them my business. All the staff is personable, kind, helpful... makes you want to come back! The daiquiris taste so good. There are many different flavors and combinations to chose from. They let you taste test before you buy. The have Jell-O shots, non alcoholic drinks and food, also. I haven't tried any other food than the nachos.. they are sooo delicious!! They have everything on them and a large is enough for two people! It's worth every penny you spend. Patronize thus business because the people who work there are so nice on top of everything else. I really enjoyed my meal here especially since it was my first time trying the Cobb salad. I loved how much was out on the salad, they definitely are NOT skimpy with the toppings. I do wish the chicken wasn't so dry but the drinks were delicious & the salad was really good overall! I will definitely be back to try to taco salad! read more

Daqs 2 Geaux is phenomenal. The daiquiris are a part frat ratio of flavor to alcohol (ONE had me feeling fly) and the food is bomb. I ordered the jerk wings and they were REAL jerk wings, not the kind some places serve with fake jerk sauce poured over some basic chicken wings. Today was a great experience at Daqs 2 Geaux! When we arrived we were greater by a energetic and helpful staff! The environment was clean and professional. Their menu has been updated since my first few visits years ago and they added pictures for the drinks! It makes it even more appealing to the eye. The staff had plenty of helpful suggestions for drinks and we were easily guided in the right direction! We also got to try their BOMB chicken Parmesan sliders and pulled pork sliders. Both were delicious! We will definitely be back ASAP! We actually ended up there after attempting to go to another local daiquiri shop in oak cliff but their hours weren't up to date online and they missed out on some good business because we are definitely regulars!
