Unfortunately, when I arrived shortly after 11:30 AM to pick up a cake that was supposed to be ready at 9:00, it wasn't finished. After multiple trips to the back by staff and nearly 25 minutes of waiting, I was finally told my cake had been placed in the wrong area and they were just then working on it. By the time I received the cake, my party had already started. The cake itself was clearly rushed. The writing was sloppy, the piping was uneven, and the overall finish looked nothing like the quality I expected based on what was promised. I understand custom cakes won't be identical to inspiration photos, but this wasn't even executed well as a much simpler version. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability. Beyond a quick apology for being behind, there was no effort to make the situation right despite a three-hour delay on a prepaid order for a time-sensitive event. This was a special occasion, and the experience added unnecessary stress to an important day. Unfortunately, this will be my last time ordering a cake from Cretia's.

The custard is made with condensed milk, so it's definitely still sweet. The Coconut Joy pairs together coconut cream and Humble's chocolate pot de cream, which married deliciously together. Next time I'd really like to try some warm pies with ice cream! We were the only ones inside for a while, and it was such a nice space to just hang out; the tables had activities like checkers and dominos, and there was a bookshelf near the front door with plenty of reading material.
