Especially my pin number. My last contract in Waco I came here all the time because 1) I didn't know Specs was here and 2) I didn't know Spec's was here!. I went one more time today to see if it had improved any. Again no greeting when I come in this very small location. I wandered around for 15 minutes checking the beer wine n liquor selection. Not 1 perrson offered to help or even say anything to me at all which has been the same on all my visits. If you enjoy wine you will probably be satisfied with selection. If you are looking for beer n liquor not so much. Tend to have the small bottles of liquor and the big bottle. Not many of the mid size bottles at all. Beer selection is OK. Prices compared to Specs about .50-75 cents more. Liquor $1-2 more If you are coming to just get 1 or 2 items it probably won't matter so much. If you are coming for supplies or service go to Specs. My mom does not drink much at all and we didn't get a snobby vibe from the employees - just welcoming. There are maps of the countries the wine is from, which feels like a nice perspective. It feels worldly without being elitist. The small interior could be intimidating because there are no private spaces - all public conversations - but everyone we met was so warm and easy to speak to. If we lived in town, we'd take advantage of their wine CSA - 3 bottles a month for $55. We sampled 3 wines and had a glass of wine each and our total was about $18.
