It is hands down the best, and that is not even including the pricing. It's an absolute steal. And nothing in comparison for the area of central Texas. What Valley Mills Vineyards has cultivated goes far beyond the bottle. We had the honor of Gabe pouring for us on a calm Saturday early afternoon. He asked our taste preference and began pouring zippy sparkinlings, skin-touched roses and deliciously balanced reds! I'm actually going to Paso Robles on vacation soon and Gabe gave me great reccomendations and a sample pour of a Paso wine he loved (I will now be visiting that vinyard)!! This was my first trip out to Round Rock. A sleepy but adorable suburb of Austin (30min no-traffic from downtown) and Swallow adds to that charm with a relaxed living room energy (think Mad Men vibe if Don Draper drank wine instead of martinis and adultery)! Some locals elbowed up to the bar and we made fast friends (it's easy to bond over wine)! I hadn't planned on buying anything but walked out with 3 bottles!! One of the patrons next to us walked out as a wine-club member!! No up-sale needed. The space and service do all the work!
