I'm so glad I got the extra dressing, it can be hard to order online, but the salad wouldn't have been as good without it. The only 4 stars was because of the avocado, is it actually their fault? Debatable. I paid $2 extra and I t was cut into really small pieces so I almost didn't notice it and they were super hard! If I ate there I'm sure they would have taken it off. Went back to BJs after enjoying our last trip for the monkey bread, but man was it a different experience this time. The ambiance was alright for a family outing, but that's where it ends. The service was pretty bad. Constantly had to ask for water refills, took her 15mins to come back and tell a person their beer wasn't available, and never asked if we needed anything after the food was delivered. The food was lack luster. I asked for extra cheese on my pizza and I paid for it, but this was the poorest case of extra cheese I have seen. Another person got a pizza and they barely had any toppings, so maybe it's just sad how little they put into their pizzas that are supposed to be "overhauled and better than ever". Wow, I've been to many BJs and this is by far the worst. First off, spent $100 for horrible food. Didn't get my drink, probably dashers fault. My wings came with no sauce, fine I'll use bbq sauce from fridge... my eggrolls were definitely undercooked and bottom was soggy, greasy, and mushy. And then my favorite entree which is the cherry glazed salmon was EXTREMELY over salted... I mean it was so bad I couldn't even eat it. I'm new to Waco but I've had BJs at several locations so I can compare. For the amount of money you spend here I expect better quality, much much better. I love popping in here on the weekends. Environment is usually not too loud or obnoxious. I like the dark (but not too dark) ambiance. Bar is spacious and had a pretty solid selection of drinks. Food is decent. I like the wings. The bartender, Anthony is awesome and a pleasure to have working behind the bar. Always informative of what's on tap and what's best. He's the man. Second time I've invited my wife for lunch. She works at Dillards. Twice I have found it empty of customers whether lunch or dinner. Service is good although I feel bad for the servers that have to serve that terrible food on behalf of the fast food cooks. Ambiance is good. Management needs to take it cooks to the casi di Brazil or the longhorn grill to learn how to cook. Prices are way too high for the food that is served. read more

My wife and I went to BJs for lunch today. We had decent food and my wife had a fabulous Expresso Martini. If you go to this restaurant, I would strongly suggest you ask for a server named Elena. We don't go here that often, but the last two times, months apart, we were graced to have Elena as our server. She is top of the line and one of the friendliest servers we have ever had anywhere. Oh my goodness! BJ's food was fantabulous! The service was great and the atmosphere was awesome! I got a steak and a yummy baked potato! My hubby had some kind of pulled pork and he truly loved it! The little rolls that came with the kids meals were sooo good too! Next time, we will have to order some of those for ourselves. The kids meal was a very healthy amount of chicken tenders and fries! My adult daughter got a great scampi pasta meal that I had the pleasure of tasting as well. It was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent. This restaurant appeared to be clean and tidy! I went here for the second time, and I was not disappointed the first time I went here I had the original wings which was crafted by a cook named Jacob. This being my second time I asked Jacob still worked here but he was on pasta tonight so I decided to order the deep dish ziti and it did not disappoint. It reminded me of the way mother used to cook it back in the old country it was so amazing with flavor And wonderful presentation that I decided to order a second one to go once again Jacob astonished me with his cooking skills and I will be back for a third time. Spent the evening with the local PD in the parking lot (who were amazing). I would not go back because their cameras were broken and we lost over $20,000 of our daughter's chemotherapy drugs. Jason Scott Adkins was our waiter, originally it was supposed to be some other waiter that just made us wait without greeting us or even drinks. He goes by Scott, anyways. Scott was awesome! Took good care of us, amazing personality, great attitude, he was actually a waiter that enjoyed his job/serving others/and HELPING. Instead of a someone with no personality/horrible attitude/and one's that just want to go home and not be here serving customers. I ate here several years ago and really enjoyed it. But when my daughter suggested we eat here while we were in town I was a bit confused by the low reviews. And I still am because we had a great evening. We were seated by the manager who made us feel welcomed. And although we were a large group and the place was quite busy the service was impeccable. We had a variety of drinks including the sangria flight and everyone enjoyed them. I had the Grand Cru, a Belgian Style Ale which, having lived in Belgium for 3 years, I can say was spot on. We started with the calamari as an appetizer and I had the Spicy Peanut Chicken. Delicious! We finished with dessert which was a great end to a wonderful meal. read more

Went to Bjs 12/06/24, the service was horrible and had to tell the waitress 5 times to please bring my salad. She obviously had a very bad attitude and I didn't get my salad until my main plate came out. I ordered the sirloin with shrimp, my steak was completely raw, couldn't eat it at all. Not cooked...wait...WHAT? not cooked? (APOLOGIES FROM THE MANAGER) who didn't come out. Ok. But we were gifted a pazooki. (Little consolation) Fries came out after we ate the burgers. Location is great... the service is pretty good. The staff is fast & friendly. The Pizza is great but the other menu items are not so great. I have tried 4 other items besides pizza and they all were not good. The AVOCADO EGG ROLLS were very bad. The "wonton wrap" was not a true wanton. It was dry & tasteless and more like bread. Definitely not thin & crispy... which makes me sad because I love these at Cheesecake Factory. So if you want pizza, it's good but if your wanting anything else it's probably not a good place to go to. read more

Worst service ever. First, we never got utensils. I had to ask for them. Our server, will call her "Rhonda"never did she once come to our table to see how we were doing. Never got or asked if we needed refills on our drinks. No condiments were brought to our table. I spent $140. I could at least gotten a courtesy of acknowledgement that we were there by our server.
