I rarely leave reviews, but these guys truly deserve one! They were incredibly kind, efficient, and quick, changing my flat tire. Excellent service and a great experience. Highly recommend! read more

I had a great experience today at Firestone. Mike helped me and provided me with various options based on what I was looking for. He came in with the best price, compared to Costco and Just Tires, and took me in an hour and half after our conversation. The other places did not have immediate availability. So glad I decided to call and give Firestone a chance. read more

I cannot say enough about this Firestone dealership!! We drove up to Elmhurst from St. Louis and upon arriving and turning the car off... were greeted with the Low Tire Alert! I checked each tire but was unable to really tell WHICH tire was low! Not knowing the town I decided to call the local Firestone dealer as that's the brand tires that I have on my car and they suggested that I bring it in and leave it with them as they were already booked solid from the "regular" customers! We dropped it off around 8:30 and true to their word... they checked all four tires, brought the pressure up to the recommended level, and.... reset the car's alert system... all before 1:30!! Top it off with restaurant suggestions, a complimentary map of the city, two very professional and personable owners and sponsoring such a wonderful cause as therapeutic horsemanship and that's five stars in my book!! I/We can now drive back to St. Louis with the confidence that we are safe and secure thanks to the Elmhurst Firestone!!! read more

My initial visit was for a tire change. However; within a couple of days while driving; the front end of my car started pulling and shaking. This resulted in my car being towed back to Firestone (at my expense). It was simply unsafe to drive. Now, prior to this tire change. I hadn't experienced anything Remotely close to this. It was scary....my safety was at risk. So, once they finished, I was told my wheels were bent really bad. I had a look of disbelief; for one the explanation. Then two; being charged $50 to look at a problem they created. So; rather than say the truth, which was my lugs we're not properly tightened. I was asked to believe the nonsense and pay for the side show as well. What happen to fairness and customer service. read more

I've driven by this place almost every single day for the past few years and just assumed they only did tires. Wrong. They're full service. I dealt with Mike and he was great. He didn't try to oversell me and did not pressure me into doing anything that I didn't need. Great place! read more

Update: The clutch kit that I had replaced here wore out after 20,000 miles and had to be replaced within 2 years. The one I had previously lasted me 130,000 miles/7 years and it has always been the same drivers in the car. When I took it to the dealer to replace the clutch kit I got here they were shocked when I told them that it was only 20,000 miles. I'll let the obvious conclusion be reached by the Yelp community. read more

If I would have read the reviews first it would have saved me a lot of time and money .I bought a used tire it was saying the tire needed air before I drove off but the installer said it just needed to be drove around the block well needless to say the next morning it was flat and I had to catch a 34.00 uber to work I call Firestone immediately they asked if I could get the car back to them which was a negative because I live in the city, so I had to call AAA to put the donut on my tire thus using up 1 of my 4 services that I get yearly. OK Fast forwarding they supposedly put another tire on but how do I know I dropped it off well now its 4 weeks later the same issue dejavu all over again tire flat, uber called to transport to work and AAA has to put the donut back on ,so this time I have a friend look at it and he says it's dry rotted I take it to a reputable tire shop they say the same thing ,but the owner of Firestone is saying something else and refusing to issue a refund...this is overall a subpar business please take your vehicle else where ...Jeffrey D review from 8/22/2014 was right on the money read more

I've been getting new tires for my truck every few years as I drive a lot for work. Mike and his team have always delivered quality service. They have also serviced my two jeeps since 1996. And my 2001 jeep runs like a dream. Thank you for always taking great care of me and my car! read more

Walked in for a scheduled oil change and immediately stopped in the doorway after seeing two employees working without masks, no plexiglass shields nothing. When I asked if they were masking the man at the desk just said no. So, I went down the street to jiffy lube where everyone was appropriately masked and distanced. When I called to give this feedback and ask to speak to the manager, he originally told me the manager was not in and could he take a message. After explaining the situation, he then identified himself as the owner and said that he did not require masks. I expressed that I would be sharing my feedback with the corporate offices, he sarcastically thanked me and then hung up on me. My family has been customers for years, and we will no longer visit this location. read more

This is not an authentic Firestone! They give free air I went here and they told me 5 dollars!!!!!!!! Who charges five dollars for air? They are complete rip offs and lazy BEWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS read more

Went here to have a tire repaired. Very friendly, fair prices, service was fast. I will go back here when I have to replace my tires.

I asked to have the Oil Changed , tires rotated and check the belts to see if they need replacing. After four hours I call to check status, I'm told 15 minutes. I walk in, they tell me they didn't rotate the tires because my tires were evenly worn all the way round? I ask that the tires be rotated and they weren't. Belts weren't checked and $41.00 for a basic oil change. FOLLOW THE CUSTOMERS INSTRUCTIONS!!!!! Now I'm reading that these oil slicks aren't even a Firestone Dealer!!! I won't be back!!! read more

I love this place. They are helpful, courteous and kind. I don't know the first thing about tires but they have been great to work with my car. I've been coming here for 20 years. They are always honest and willing to accommodate a tire emergency. Fair prices, honest service. read more

I've been a satisfied customer for years. It is a good feeling to be able to trust the people that are working on your car and I trust these guys. They have maintained and repaired my vehicles for the last twenty years. Always sensitive to my financial situation they help me to prioritize what repairs need to happen now and what repairs can wait. Last time I took my car in it took a few days to diagnose and fix the problems and they loaned me a vehicle. That loaner saved me a lot of money. After failing the emissions test they not only made the repairs but actually took the car to the testing station for me. I passed. So if you are looking for an honest, family owned, neighborhood repair shop give Elmhurst Firestone a try. read more

Great friendly service. Don't tell you things that doesn't have to be replaced. Good quality work. Timely service as well. Been there multiple times and now this shop became my go to place read more

Absolutely terrible. Could not fix my flat tire. They told me they fixed but an hour later my tire was still leaking. The rate to fix a flat was absolutely ridiculous as well. I found a place later where they could of done it for cheaper and got it right the first time. Don't let the name brad fool you. They are an "affiliated dealer".I definitely do not recommend any Firestone because I still had a bad experience with one in Naperville. read more

Terrible....way overpriced and my car has had nothing but problems (what they "fixed" and more) since spending $2000 on my car here. Find yourself an honest, talented mechanic elsewhere. read more

One star because I can't give it negative stars. Emergency situation my car overheated. I'm 50 miles from home and I pull in off the highway. 20 minutes to closing time. One guy in the place says he can't do anything because they're closing. Wouldn't stay an extra 15 minutes for the car to cool down and give some water an no place around is open. My husband had to come get me. Then I used the bathroom which was filthy. Mustn't have been cleaned in months. I let him know and just got a blank stare. I buy my tires and oil changes from Firestones near my home and would never get service like this. read more

I've been here several times and the staff has been friendly, open and up front with me regarding services I requested. From options/alternatives to communication throughout the process I've been very satisfied. read more

Worst place ever! Don't take your car to get fixed here - trust me, you will be ripped off. The management (Mike, Bill, and Ted) are the most unprofessional poor excuses for human beings I have ever met in my life. First of all, they over-charge you (they basically charge you double than what it would cost elsewhere); I learned the hard way... they quoted me a price and I believed them but then the price was double, I asked them about the first price they quoted me but they pretended that they didn't know what I was talking about... whatever, so I paid. A week later something goes wrong with my car again, I decided to then do my research to look into other places to get my car repaired, I looked at reviews (I know, I know, I should have done that in the beginning; you live and you learn). Took my car in to another place and they were much better, they even let me know that the problem was that Firestone purposely fixed my problem the wrong way and they could tell that they tampered with other things in my car to cause me even more problems, I was livid. Fortunately, this other place told me that this happens a lot at Elmhurst Firestone so they were sympathetic to me and fixed my car for next to nothing. I have definitely learned to do my research from now on - trust reviews! And stay away from Elmhurst Firestone - they will scam you! read more

I pulled into Firestone on York on a day when it was -4 below 0. They were swamped with business (good sign). My alignment had been pulling to the left. The guy behind the desk said that sometimes a car pulls one way because of an uneven air pressure, so this guy, asks me to pull my car around to the back of the building and for free, without GLOVES!!! he checks each of the tires air pressure to determine whether or not I even need to get the alignment done. Then just by looking at the tires he says, did you get these at Sears? Yep! then he says, It's probably a radial pull, happens to all weather tires sometimes when the steel gets a little warped. We'd put the front left tire on the back of the car and see if it corrects itself. Now I'm not a car person, but THAT's the kind of product knowlege and integrity that I appreciate from a repair shop. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is because I ended up taking the tires back to Sears because they are still under warranty. read more
