When you have to return SO MANY times for the same DAMN repair(s), 4 for this last one.....and my problems STILL are not fixed, a couple even worse, it's time for court. I have been back and forth over the course of 16 months for repairs and during this time ONLY the oil change was done correctly. That I know of. Everything else it seems is always due a "return visit" to fix what should have been fixed right THE FIRST TIME. (See the attached pictures to this review that show clearly when they sent me out after the manifold or head gasket repair and they failed to bolt the engine back to the frame at all). That is absolutely ridiculous. I HAD been coming here for years but not any longer. I am now awaiting a call from their customer service department for 1) why do I have to continuously return to have two or three different techs come behind each other to fix what should have been fixed right the first time and 2) when they did my manifold repair was it not done correctly which caused me an additional hour and a half wait time and HOW during this repair did they somehow loosen my hood which no longer attaches to the frame correctly and vibrates incessantly. They ALSO never fixed correctly the other 2 issues. After all of these years folks, I have to warn you all! Shop at this store at your own risk because they just do not care anymore and that's a sad thing for me to say having been a loyal customer for 16, 17 years, even bring ing friends here. I am not kidding, I'm looking into legal options now to try to recoup some of the money back so that I can somehow keep my car running. Drop my vehicle off to just get a new tire stem put on I was told it would be a hour and a half so I stopped back 4 hours later the tire was never touched and the guy behind the counter didn't even say they where sorry rude I took my business elsewhere I will never be back read more

God forbid you are a woman. I had a broken tire belt in just ONE tire so I wanted to replace just that one. Simple right? Went in and this big guy comes out, measures the tread on all my tires and tells me I need to replace all of them. I didnt tell him yet that I had already replaced two others. So two are brand new. I just told him "no I do not i just want that one" and he INSISTED I do. I have a bmw and those tires cost $200 a piece. I laughed at him and went to Flynns Tire and they were way nicer and didnt talk to me like im stupid. read more

Horrible what you just did to a single mother charging her over 1600.00 for a fuel line replacement for a 2007 Chevy hhr. 900 in labor alone ? That should have cost 700-900 tops out the door. She had to take a pay day line to get this over Inflated ridiculously charges repair cost! Took my car to get a tire alignment after I got brand new tires put on it a few months ago, turns out one of the mechanics must have got side tracked and neglected to finish tightening the locking nut to the outer tie rod. He even left his vice grips clamped on my tie rod. I just discovered this when I took my tire off today to do some maintenance. So not only did I have to tighten the locking nut myself, it may need realigned since the nut was never tight in the first place. And in addition to it, there was zero grease in the tie rod end which could have been brought to my knowledge if the mechanic had a clue on what they were doing. read more

Never, never, never go to Firestone. They are the most corrupt, money hungry business around. My experience was my car needed brakes. My wife brought car in and I told her to have them evaluate then call me with estimate. After some time went by, still no call. I ended up calling them and they were already in the middle of replacing brakes. Never got permission, never gave estimate. I was told "well I just assumed you wanted them replaced". I told them to stop what they were doing and put everything back the way it was and I was taking it somewhere else. They ended up putting brakes back on with no pads and when I went to try and drive it away it simply wouldn't moved. Ended up messing up my calipers so I had to tow it to somewhere else and replace everything including calipers. read more

3 hours for 4 new tires. 3...hours. Had an appointment...literally the first appointment in the morning...and 3 hours later I'm finally on my way. I have griped and complained for years about NTB taking longer than I think they should, but I never will again; I will be returning to NTB from now on and never setting foot in a Firestone again, and I am warning people to do the same. I visited this Firestone on December 15, 2014 after getting a flat tire on my Nissan Rogue during a business trip. I had been planning to purchase new tires soon so I opted to get a whole new set while I was there. After they'd installed my new tires, the mechanic told me they'd found a problem with my front left ball joint. He said it was extremely loose and warned me that it would be dangerous to drive with. He advised me to get it fixed right away, and that they could repair it for $500. I was concerned since I had several hundred miles to drive that week before heading home. I made a quick call to my mechanic back at home, who my family has had a relationship with for a decade. Our mechanic suggested I get a second opinion before spending the money. I took my Rogue to a Nissan dealership up the road and explained the situation and they agreed to take a look. After a 5 minute inspection, the dealership told me there was absolutely no issues with my car. The ball joint was tight and in perfect condition. The mechanic I worked with actually said, "I would drive this car anywhere." It's appalling that this business would lie and attempt to con me out of hundreds of dollars. I'm a girl in my early twenties with limited car knowledge, far from home, and they clearly thought I'd be an easy target for their dishonesty. I'm so thankful I took the time to get a second opinion. In their lobby, Firestone has a quote that reads "I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business. -Harvey S. Thank You Thank You Thank You, My boyfriend and I, from Old Orchard Beach, Maine visiting family were in a rental car over Labor Day weekend and got a flat tire at around 4:30 pm on Sat. I called AAA and they said to call the rental car company. I called the rental car company and they advised me to go to the Firestone Tire Center because they had a contract with them. When we arrived it was after 5:00pm and they were very busy. The manager also told us that the contract they had was with the car rental company in Ohio. We had rented the car we had in Pennsylvania. The store manager and his empolyees went out of their way by making calls to the rental car company for us and they changed the tire by 6:00pm which was closing time. These gentlemen were knowledgeable and skilled and saved my boyfriend and I many hours of frustration had we had to wait and try to get the tire fixed the following day. With their professional help we ended up having a fun evening with family members and enjoyed the rest of our holiday weekend. Thanks again, You guy were great!!!!! read more

i recently broke down on the highway on my way to chicago and brought my car to this firestone. the manager there was above-and-beyond helpful, doing everything he could to make sure i could get back on the road asap. they planned ahead, and one of their technicians offered to come in two hours early the next morning to work on the car. really great experience here overall. read more

After a few years and many trips to this location, I have clearly picked up on how they truly do business. This is an honest and completely true statement, from many trips there. Not to beat up on the ones behind the counter, because your job is not easy, not one bit. But, ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING MONEY. They hire and teach these guys to talk fast, get you to sign, and move on to the next one. The prices should be advertised clearly on the wall for each thing that needs done. For many of us who are not mechanics, get taken advantage of by there fast, no it all smooth talk, and when you ask were the heck they came up with the price they go through a whole run around untill you finally give in. Sound familiar? I've even had times were they said they did something, not thinking I would actually check, and was not done. This is what other mechcanics have told me as well when I asked them. I've seen many people get robbed right in front of my eyes. Check what they do, and it's almost guaranteed you can get it done cheaper else were. Oh and that list of add ons they tack on after you just went for a simple oil change. Yes I'm calling you guys out, and you know it's all true. OK, I normally don't leave reviews, but this time I'm making an exception. First off, I made a 2:00 appointment for a tire rotate and re-balance at a cost of $65. I can see if this was a freebee, but my car wasn't moved for 45 minutes, but i can overlook that. What really got my goat was that I asked if they could tell me the thickness of my front rotors while they had my tires off. This isn't a big deal to measure, but the salesman went into a huge sales pitch about an offer of a 101 point inspection for $25. I said no to that offer, then magically it was on sale for $10. My car is fairly new and is nearly completely maintenance free. There isn't even dip sticks for oil and transmission checks. Then I get the car back and took it home to double check the pressures only to discover that one of the tire valve stems were cross tread. It is possible that it was damaged before they got my car, but I had just checked the air a couple of weeks ago, but one thing is for sure that the mechanic knew that something was wrong because he had to struggle putting the stem cover back on. I've used this shop many times and the staff have ALWAYS done an awesome job on my vehicles. On a few occasions they've worked beyond closing time to get my car back on the road.
