I've taken my 25 year old Toyota there a few times now over the last year and a half. They've always been efficient and thorough with the work. When they quoted me a moderate sized repair that I needed a few months to get the cash ready, when I came back a few months later and prices were up they made a couple minor adjustments to the total to close the gap with the original quote. They replaced some belts at a separate visit and when I had some noises start a few months later they tweaked it under warranty same day with no hesitations. I was on a road trip and got a flat after driving over a screw that made a pretty big hole in the tire. I drove on the spare for about 200 miles on the Ohio turnpike until I got to Youngstown. The Firestone facility was near the hotel where I spent the night. I called in the morning and Chuck told me to come in and they would work me into their already full schedule. I watched Jeremy fix the flat by using both a plug and a patch and he did a great job. He did a careful repair. No shortcuts. Jeremy even put my spare back into the wheel well under the floor of the SUV which necessitated removing and them replacing baggage covering the wheel well, and reset the TPMS. My total time in the tire shop was less than an hour and I was on my way. Overall, this was an 11 out of 10 for service! Way to go, gents! read more

Recently visited this location for my boyfriend's car. I called ahead and the staff quoted me easily and offered to have us in and out the same day. We went in a few minutes later and the staff was so friendly. We were well informed of all products and offers, they even called to update us on how things were going. Started bringing my car here when I moved to Niles last year. I have taken all my cars to other shops over the years, small local joints and national chains. None of these have been as honest and friendly as the Firestone on Belmont. I brought it in for an oil change and tire rotation last year, and they were so friendly and fairly-priced that they were the first place I thought of when my brakes went bad this year. Extremely unhappy with my experience with this location. I was told they didn't have the tires I wanted in stock but they could be ordered. Scheduled my appointment for the following Sunday. On Saturday I received a call saying they had no information about what tires I wanted or about my appointment. Really? Every email confirmation I've gotten clearly listed that. I asked does that mean you don't have my tires for tomorrow? I was told yes. So if you don't know what tires you need for my car how do you know you don't have them? Cancel my appointment. Called the national customer service line. Really nice agent. Got a case number and was promised a call back within 48 hours. On March 9th. Called again. Promised it was escalated. Call back promised within 48 hours. Still waiting. Guess where I'm not getting tires from? Guess who doesn't mind doing the social media complaint circuit? This lady. read more
