I was able to drop my car off at night and he showed up to make sure everything was fine (although there are cameras). I told him that I needed to work and he was able to get my brakes and rotors done by the time I had to go back to work. There are drinks and snacks and a nice waiting room. Being a female, I was completely comfortable being alone. He takes your car for a test drive to make sure everything sounds and works good after he completes his service. He didn't like how mine sounded so he took it in and fixed the noise. He takes a lot of pictures and he texts also! I would recommend him to anyone in Mahoning County!

RT Barrett Auto Sales was only the second place I called but something about his spirit over the phone made me stop right there. I didn't even feel the need to keep calling other places. That alone says a lot. When I arrived, I was greeted by Ron and his wife, and from that moment on, the energy was nothing but warm, welcoming, and genuine. They were both incredibly kind, and you can just tell they truly love what they do. The shop itself? CLEAN, organized, and comfortable. Not your typical auto shop at all. They had a TV set up, asked what me and my son wanted to watch (my son is autistic, so that meant a lot), and we ended up enjoying SpongeBob and Madagascar together. They also had a fridge stocked with drinks, name-brand snacks like Lays chips, pretzels, and even a big jar of candy. It honestly felt more like a welcoming space than a waiting room. Now let's talk about the service... Ron and the other mechanic (I wish I remembered his name!) were AMAZING. What stood out to me the most is that they didn't just fix my car. They educated me. (Or you really need to get out more - in which case you are on Yelp put it to use my friend.) That being said i have to say Valvoline makes it so easy to get an Oil Change. I pulled right in at 11:40 on a Friday. I lucked out with NO line, NO wait and the guys were super friendly. If you have never been to a Valvoline you have a team working on your vehicle. They check your lights, your air pressure, etc and of course change your oil. One attendant will be at your window asking questions, updating info and going over their suggestions with you. All in all you really can be in and out in 15 minutes or very close to it. They keep the two bay shop very clean and there is limited "garage smell" even with your window down. I personally do not mind having to stop in and get an oil change with these guys. It's fairly painless and I can sit Valvoline!

They didn't try to rip me off or tell me I needed something that I didn't need or want. They even showed me the condition of the filters and let me know that one didnt need replaced yet. I do not know much about cars....and as a female I have been ripped off quite a bit....especially by dealerships. The cost was no where near as expensive as the dealerships or other mechanic type shops. I am quit satisfied. I will be back for sure.
