I was in the shop (May 2020) to have a new set of (4) wheels (purchased from a third party) swapped out on my BMW. I was concerned about possible damage on the hub assembly, as some of the lug nuts had been VERY over-torqued by the previous owner. Sure enough, once my tech (Coltan) began to remove the lug nuts this was verified. some of the nuts were on so tight the impact couldn't loosen them up. Coltan was able to remove them with a very long wrench and some muscle. The over-torqued lug nuts had been rendered useless, and 3 of the 4 hub assemblies had been damaged from the lugnuts. New bolts could not be screwed-in without forcing them with an impact, and further damaging the assembly. After speaking with the GM and the shop manager (Allen), they informed me they would try and track down the special tap needed to re-thread the hub assembly. Being its was an uncommon tap (cus of course it is BMW) this took many phone calls. They did eventually find the proper tap and were able to save the assembly, which was fantastic as this is a $600 part from BMW, each. They eventually got the wheels on and the car looked great. They never once tried to give me an up-charge or extort me for more money than the standard price, as the Tire Discounters 2 buildings over tried to do. TD started at free, and were at $320 before one wheel had been completed. I can not recommend this Firestone highly enough. The team I dealt with was VERY knowledgeable, helpful and caring; an almost extinct combo in the automotive repair industry. Most shops are out to extort as much money as possible from you while never attempting to finish the job for the quoted price. Whether you have a Honda, Ford, or a BMW ( and everything in between) this is undoubtedly the place to take your car for any wheel, tire, or minor repairs needed. Save your time and energy, skip the many phone calls to every shop in the area (as I did), and book your appointment at this Firestone. read more

If I could give this place no stars, I would. I spent 900.00 in there in a span of two days (I had to bring it back the very next day because they didn't put the car back together correctly) for my brakes. They also charged me 22.00 for a "full inspection", which would've been fine if they had done it properly and told me everything that was wrong. 3 weeks later, my front brakes go out, and I'm back somewhere else paying another 500.00. The man I spoke to inside Firestone was unprofessional and tried to tell me my car wasn't fixed right because I described the wrong noise. I brought my car in to them, the supposed professionals, and they want to blame the service on me because I described the noise wrong? I don't recommend this business at all. I was working in the neighborhood today and found a screw in one of my trailer tires. I swung by at 5:10p and was told that they couldn't fix It today that I would have to bring it back tomorrow. It literally was a 5 min fix. They didn't even need to jack up the trailer or take off the wheel. I have personally fixed tons of tires like this. But, I didn't have my repair kit with me. So, the safety of their clients means nothing to these people. In my life, when someone comes to me with an emergency I do everything possible to get them safe again. I guess that's me and how I roll. This business doesn't give a crap about your safety. How many people have been hurt or killed after a tire explodes. I drove safely home at 15 MPH. I can't believe the owners of this establishment hire people that are that inconsiderate! I will NEVER do any business with that Firestone store. The sad part is when I was younger I worked at one of my dad's 5 Firestone stores treating my clients with the utmost respect and concerns for their safety! Wow. I hate getting repairs done like every other person alive but Joe at this firestone took care of me and saved me $1500 by finding out other dealerships were quoting me for work I didn't need done. He did a diagnostic, called me and informed me I didn't need my starter replaced( it was in perfect condition) and I only needed 1 of my catalyc converters replaced. This place is honest and to me that is the most important trait to have as an auto repair business. I can't speak for the entire company but I can speak for this location. I think that the employees here need to learn how to treat female customers. We had new tires put on her car. And they forgot to put on the balancer on tight. And it caused the car to start shaking. The person on the phone said it was nothing to do with. Now today after coming here for years the put the wrong type of oil in a vehicle. I don't recommend this place. read more

I had Firestone repair a leak in my tire months ago. I had to take it back when the tire light still came on--they had not even looked at it. They finally did plug it. I took it to the car dealer months later for a service...not only did the plug not work, Firestone stripped the lug nuts! The area manager says he will only consider partial--not even full--payment for the damage if we bring the car in and let them examine every tire. Presumably, they think the dealer swapped tires? We were loyal Firestone customers for years. Now I will never trust them with a car again. read more

Trustworthy! My dealership told me I needed new brakes recently but when I took it to Firestone, they assured me it was not needed yet and that I could wait. Jamey showed me the current state of my brake pads and rotors and explained everything. It's so reassuring to take your car in and have a repair shop not try to rip you off! Been coming here for a couple years now. I used to work in the service department for a car dealership for a couple years while I was in college. I prefer to do most mechanic jobs I need myself but I don't have some of the special tools so I have to farm out some of the jobs because it doesn't make sense to pay $200 for a special tool I'll only use once. Anyway, whenever I bring it to these guys they don't give me any fluff or make up crap about why they did unnecessary work. The work that they do is always spot on and necessary. They called me before doing any additional work that needed to be done and they weren't just giving me fluff about it. I even called them out when they forgot to reset an oil light on my car once and they owned it and made it right. Good, quality mechanics. They are busy, though. It might take a couple days to get in. That's what happens when people find a good mechanic. read more

I had my mastercylinder replaced a year ago. They charged me $400 n it leaking all the brake fluid out after 1 month. I brought my truck back 5x to keep being told it was not leaking. Finally I gave up on it. My mastercylinder looks about 20 years old it is rusted to crap from always leaking. This company is horrible. read more

Firestone has gone downhill. Had a 11 am appointment. They pushed me back until 1:00. Said a tire patch would take an hour. 2 hours later the car is still on the lift. Not to mention they didn't feel "comfortable" fixing my other tire due to some minor sidewalk damage to it that is non consensual. I will say the front desk guy did the best he could to make the situation better in terms of customer service and apologies. But I don't want apologies. I want my car fixed in a timely manner that was booked 4 days before the appointment time. read more

Looks like one star is too much!! I for ten years I have had my vehicles serviced through Firestone most of the time with out a problem. Over the last 6 month I have needed 3 services. Two sets of new tires and One vehicle diagnostic. All of these where billed to the wrong card all of the billing was incorrect with incorrect pricing. After several day of trying to correct the problem this, "Well I don't know how we charged the WRONG CARD, maybe it was something you did." Says the service writer. How in the hell is this my problem. It makes me wonder... If I can run up a bill on someones else credit card, maybe some one can do it on mine. This all happen to day there customer service is a joke, no apology, my bad, or let me make this up to you. I will never go to Firestone again for any type of servicing or Tires. After a terrible experience with my local Ford dealer, I took my 2017 Ford Edge to this store for a simple tire rotation, including a tire pressure check. I indicated the tire pressures I wanted, including that for the spare. After getting my receipt, I saw that the advisor included my desired pressures right on the work order. I was able to watch the technician work on my car through the glass in the waiting room. He carefully rotated the tires and set the pressures. Again, my receipt showed the "in" (before) pressures and "out" (after) pressures. I was appalled to see that my car had left the Ford dealer with the spare at 40 psi (60 psi is spec). In the end, all tires were rotated correctly and the pressures were set to my specifications. My car was ready in less than an hour and my service advisor was very pleasant to work with. (Full disclosure: Prior to retirement, I worked as a tire engineer for a major U.S. tiremaker.) I will definitely return to this store for tire work as well as oil changes and any other repairs needed on my Edge. After my experience with the Ford dealer, these guys rock! read more

We took my son's car to Honda to have the airbags replaced on a recall. One of his tires was also leaking air so I asked them to check it out. They told me that he needed 2 new tires ($380) and front and rear brakes ($520). I declined the service and took the car to Firestone. Joe was awesome and explained everything to us in detail. Long story short, he only needed one new tire, an alignment, and his brakes have about 25,000 miles left on them. Walked out paying $188 instead of $900. Just want to say that this is thee best location of any big named tire store out there. Let's be real, mechanics aren't sometimes the best in customer service, unfortunately. Very frustrated, Have been bringing my car here for a while only for them to mess my car up. I brough my car in due to a wreck in the snow. They replaced my tie rod and other things on the left side. I go back a month later for oil change they said the tie rod was done wrong so they fixed it for free. THEN my car started stalling. I took it back they claimed to have driven my car around, which is impossible because as soon as i got my car back unfixed, it stalled right down the street. I take it to the dealership and they were able to see that the crank sensor was damaged. Got that fixed. During the past visit with firestone i let them know my car was shaking on acceleration, the man tells me it was the right front wheel bearing. Okay cool i go to the dealership because at this point you will never touch my car again. The dealership tells me "no it is the wheelbearing, its your shocks, were you in a wreck?" So you guys never completely fixed my freaking car. Ive spent so much money with these people and feel completely robbed. i NEVER leave a review but id like to save someone from having a car they spend so much money on a month for a car note, id like to save them from the hole im in. @ this point so much work has to be done it may be cheaper to just trade in my fairly new car because of the negligence. Had a good experience having tires ordered and installed tires. I went in and within 10 minutes had everything all setup for the next day. The original overall price was better at another chain (hence 4 not 5 star) but it was very fast to go in and get an order written up and tires ordered at that price, with no hemming and hawing on matching policies or anything! Install could have been that afternoon but it was easier for us to do the next day, and everything went great on install. I did my homework up front so the whole process was pretty painless. read more

Firestone has always been extremely reliable for me. I had experienced some brake issues and decided to take it in. Luckily they were able to squeeze me in during a week day on short notice, diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes, and had all the parts to fix the issue in 30 minutes! I don't write reviews very often but my experience at Firestone is more than deserving of one. We are brand new to the Denver area, having been here less than a week, and had a headlight go out on our relatively new-to-us vehicle yesterday just as evening was approaching. After calling around and being told "sorry" by three other places, Firestone told us to stop by and they would take a look at it. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff and were introduced to a service tech named Justin. Despite it being the end of his shift, he took the time to look at our vehicle and assisted us in getting the headlight fixed so we could be on our way. He probably has no idea how much of a headache he helped us to avoid. So, thank you Justin, and thank you Firestone! Needless to say, these guys have two new customers! read more

Ridiculous. I schedule to get my car in at 9am so I can get it in and out right away. Simple oil change and tire rotation as well as a diagnostic to look into my breaks and a clunk noise in the front left. Call them at 2:30 to get an update, say they are out test driving it as part of the diagnostic, say will call me back. I call back at 4, say they will call back in 10-15 minutes with the estimate. Half hour later, call back saying my breaks are down to the last mm, cv joint is leaking fluid, tire rods will need replaced soon which would include an alignment to be paid for separately also quoted me on tires because one of them is getting to be bald. So I say ok I'll come get my car and get to that other stuff when finances allow for it, and they say ok it should be done and ready by 5. It's now 4:45 and I haven't heard anything about it being done. Main point is, people schedule to get it in and out in a timely manner, not to spend the whole day without a car. What if I had to wait there for it??? And then quote me on what's gonna solve my problems not what is potentially the issue. You should know exactly what it is and what Will fix it. don't push more on to it to get more money. read more

Ok...I'm not sure if this company tried to take advantage of a female. I hate to think this really does still happen. Here we go...... I took my Mercedes in for a tire repair (got a nail in my tire). I was told after looking at the tire, they couldn't do a flat repair and that I needed to buy a new tire.....ok......this could be true...I don't know anything about this stuff that's why I bring it to the "professionals". I really felt they tried to get me to buy new tires instead of fixing the tire. Why you ask....well the guy helping me (Justin? ) over heard me on the phone with my boyfriend telling him what was going on and that I needed a new tire. He (Justin?) also heard me say that I would just take it over to the Mercedes Benz dealership. After he ( Justin?) heard this he said " we are going to try and fix it". Oh ok. Interesting. The 1 star because he didn't charge me a dime for a $20 flat repair. Thanks! He continued to push 4 new tires on me after the free flat repair. Ughhh!!! I was very polite and said I would be back because I just wanted to get out of there! Will NOT be back! I will not recommend this tire store to any females unless you bring in a man with you. I have to agree with others on here. I grew up in a small town where it was easy to know who you could trust and who you can't. Here in the City is a different story and I trust mechanics about as much as a trust a dentist. I finally found a repair place I trust. I took my car to two different places and each one told me some random, yet different maintenance that would cost me around $1200. I had a friend look at my car and he didn't think I need the maintenance. So, I took my car here they show me that I didn't need those repairs and showed me what my car really needed. I'm car stupid and they explained things so I understood. I ended up getting out of there spending $350 and they told me of a couple of issues that could wait 3 and 6 months which was nice so that I can plan ahead. I've been here four times now and I feel that they are honest about what needs repaired and what could wait. I was sick of going into places for an oil change and then mysteriously I needed $600 in additional repairs every time. That doesn't happen here. Also, if I leave my car I can usually get things done same day which is huge. We are a one car family so we appreciate things getting done quickly. I'm not taking my car anywhere else. read more

I can't say enough good things about the crew at this Firestone and the amazing work they do. While I hate having car issues, I love knowing I have a place to go where the customer service is outstanding and the repair work even more so. I've always gotten honest responses when asking about whether a repair is critical or if there are more cost friendly approaches to some issues I've had. They are also wonderful at getting work done without an appointment during those times something happened out of left field and I needed it fixed. While this isn't the closest FS to me it is definitely worth the drive to have people I trust working on my car. Highly recommended! read more

I have been getting all our vehicles serviced at this shop for over 10 years. However, In the last year, I have had several horrible service experiences at this Firestone. This weekend was the last straw. I have the extended warranty on tires I bought at this store for my truck . Three weeks ago I took mt truck in for a slow leak in one of the tires. I also asked that they rotate an balance them on my extended warranty. I had to leave it overnight for this service. A few days after I picked it up, I realized it still had the slow leak. On Thursday 4/29 I made an appointment for Sunday to take my wife's car to get the oil changed and get the tire leak repaired in my car. I arranged to drop my wife's car at 9:00 and when it was done I would pick her car up and drop my truck off. The service agent said it would be 3 hrs for the oil change and 1 hour for the tire. We left my wife's car before they opened an used the key drop. When I went to switch out vehicles that morning. they said they had no appointment for my truck and I would have to leave it over night. This type of thing has happened several times over the last year. I don't know if it is poor management or what, but I won't be taking any of my vehicles to this Firestone for service. read more
