Came here a few months ago. My car was fine just needed a light change and oil change. Im writing my reveiw now because ive been having issues with my car ever since i took it here. I went in and spent a long time waiting around for hours when i went to go check on my car it hadnt been touched so i went inside the lobby to wait the rest of the time after another wait i was told the work was done. I walked out and checked on the light it wouldnt turn on so i went back in. Turns out they forgot to do the light. They took the car back and spent 5 minutes fixing my light. I kept getting irritated looks from the people working on my car which is dumb because had they gotten One man was very helpful older asian man. Had they gotten it right the first time they wouldve been done. I dont plan on going back because when they took my front bumper apart to fix the light they didnt put it back together right its not aligned. My light went out 2 weeks after which im thinking may be because of the car itself but i didnt feel comfortable bringing it back here again because my car has been making noises from the back ever since. read more

Depending on who's working they'll usually work with you. sometimes can be pushy at trying to sell you other other services or products but if u stand your ground they won't make u. But they have a nice friendly and acknowledgeable team. So not too bad of a place but try and bring coupons. Good luck :) read more

Had such an awesome experience here today. I got off work at 0630 hours and noticed a huge bulge in my tire from a pothole yesterday. I was so afraid to have a blow out since it was the front tire. I called the store and the manager Hugo said he could have my tires there by 0900 hours. Thank you so much to Gilbert who picked them up from another store! Everyone was so nice and quick service. Hit and Miss! This one was a Disaster!!!! Came in for a routine oil change, the only place I've been taking my car for a few years. They stripped my oil pan bolt and said they could try an oversized bolt to get me on the road temporarily but they would have to order it. Now there is an auto parts store in the same strip mall, so I walked over and bought the bolt for $16.00 brought it back, they tried it, said it would not work. However, they could order me a new oil pan for just under $300. REALLY? I looked quickly online seems they go for $198. Okay, I understand you guys need to make a little profit, but $100 for a phone call (not to mention you were the ones that over tightened it and stripped it.) I said no thank you! I will go to a junkyard and pull one myself. Quickly the manager said okay if you can get it we'll install it free of charge, but I have a guy that will go and get one at the junkyard for $80.00 plus the cost of the oil pan and now their price for a new one went down to $200 and change. This situation was very confusing to me because I had visited this store a few months ago for a brake job and had new rotors that I wanted them to install in the trunk of my car, they said they could not use parts that were brought in by the customer. That being said, they were able to use the oversized oil pan bolt I walked over to get at the auto parts store. HMMM? Bottom line...It cost me over $600.00 and my car in the shop ALL DAY for a routine oil change. Break down: $200 oil pan $400 labor (Manager said he would not charge me for this! Coincidently when I picked up my car he had left for the day) Here's the kicker... My brakes were perfectly fine when I pulled into Firestone for an oil change that day. Since I drove out of Firestone that day, my brakes started squealing and produced a strong clunk on the passenger side. I had my friend pull the tire and check the brake pads, still a lot of wear on them. However, a nice shiny clean area was seen, wouldn't you know, in the 5 miles I had driven my car home one of the brake caliper mounting bolts had inadvertently unscrewed its 1 1/2 inch torqued shaft from the mount causing the caliper when depressed, to shift on the rotor making the clunking and squealing I heard. Imagine that! WTF? I will never give Firestone my business again! read more

I went to Firestone on Saturday 10.27.2018 to have slow leak in my back tire fixed after the technician brought my car into the garage the girl called me to the counter to explain that would not be able to fix my tire as there was a nail in it & it was to close to the wall. SHE said as she is making hand jestures that I should get two new tires as I have directional tires on my car. As she is spinning her hands she then says it would be best if I purchased 4 new tires for my BMW so that I would not ruin my " drive train" really!!! I politely told this thief to put the tire back on my car & I would bring my car to the BMW dealer. Hence $36.00 later at BMW I GOT MY TIRE FIXED!!! & it didn't cost me 4 new tires or a drive train!! So if you are a woman & don't know anything about cars do yourself a favor stay way from Firestone because they will try to sell you what you absolutely don't need!!! I went back in for another alignment because i was told from the meeting last time that I needed my camber kit replaced. This time i made an appointment via online. For the same day. I must have submitted the appointment around 9 am for a 5 pm alignment. I received an email confirmation saying i was good to go. So i showed up at 4:55 pm and the person running the desk kinda gave me a blank stare and said that this appointment should have been made days before versus with in that day. He told me that cars were ahead and I would be last in line. Since it was Sunday they close at 6 pm. So he warned me that my car may nor get attended to. It was a bit irritating at first because I made an appointment this time and now im hearing that i might not get my car seen. Well i waited and 30 minutes till their closing time he said its not looking good. But for some act of kindness my vehicle was serviced at the cost of another customer. I like the service that the mechanics provide at this location. So i still recommend this location just have appointments days in advance. It'll be worth it. read more

Beware of this place. Dishonest service. A family member brought car in. They messed up the car and didn't take any blame. Went to take my car to get an assessment to see if they were honest. Brought car to 2 different mechanics first, there assessments lined up. Then I brought it to Firestone, there assessment had so much more wrong with my car and didn't line up with the assessment of the other 2 places. They charged a high fee to fix. They will tell you more things wrong because they are trying to rob you. Please do yourself a favor and don't trust them. I brought car to other mechanics and showed there report. Danny the service advisor is amazing! Towed my car in because of a starter failure, and called spoke with Danny, said they may not be able to finish the job in one day. He pushed for me and made sure the guys got it done for me, and even stayed a little past closing to help me. Upon driving home, I noticed a check engine light on that wasn't on before, called Danny and he was so kind and patient, told me to just bring it back and he'd be happy to double check for my peace of mind. Took my car for tires last October. Was suppose to be able to pick it up around 11:30. They ended up not being done with my car until after 6pm. Today needed a quick oil change. Called to see if it was busy and how long it would take. I was told they were steady and it would take 1 and a half hours. Took the car in and was told a couple hours for the oil change and the tire rotation (tire rotation was part of a maintenance package I had previously purchased) Called 2 and a half hours later to check on the status and they had not even started the car. Richard told us on the phone they would need until the end of the day and it should be ready by 5:30 pm. The car was needed by 3 to start driving up to Sacramento. Had they been honest on the phone or when we brought the car in we would have saved ourselves time and trouble and just gone to another location. I don't mind waiting, but I expect people to be honest. read more

Today, I had a 9:00A.M. appointment for wheel alignment, which I arrived 20 minutes early. The service advisor was Danny who assisted with my appointment. I asked him for the price of an oil change for my Toyota Camry, he quoted me $34.99. Then I checked the Firestone website and the coupon states $19.99 for synthetic blended oil change. Danny could of mentioned this disconnect but he fail to do so. I also called PEP Boys and found a coupon on their website for full synthetic oil change for $39.99, quote from their website "$19.99 Conventional Oil Change or $39.99 Full Synthetic Oil Change Service." I presented this coupon to Danny and he refused to match the price for full synthetic oil change. I thought Firestone matches price but I guess I was wrong. This is the reason why I don't get other service from them. I have done non mechanic service with them such as purchasing tires. If wasn't for my life time wheel alignment, I wouldn't get my car service here. I simply don't trust them. The service from Danny was very transactional, typical mechanic. Overall, their honored my appointment and completed it within 30 minutes, which I'm satisfied with that. read more

Jacob the manager is the most thorough and honest automotive employee I met. I needed brakes on my Jeep Commander not only did I get premium new parts I also got good service and price. He gave me his best opinions and prices to go with my budget. He cared about my brake concern and didn't brush me off because I was on a budget. I also had a oil change, tire rotation and a free 21 point vehicle inspection which he explain to me. With service like that from JACOB and the other employees I will be a repeat customer at Firestone. Good job Jake. read more

THEY're RIPOFF!!! BE careful! they're not honest with their service, they told me I need a new tire but I just bought the tire 9 months ago! I gave them for life-time allignemnt service i bought at other firestone, they refuses to serve and got angry at me. I sent two cars in for routine oil change and tire rotation, cars which have been services there before and which have received tire service and replacement over several years (with generous paid balances) With no leaks reported or observed before the service, suddenly my associates are informed that the oil plug on one vehicle has been stripped and that the oil pan will have to be replaced. Multiple reports of cost estimates and approaches were discussed by my associates and the management, but the final tab was a $429 labor charge for replacement of the oil pan. No offer of responsibility for the stripped plug was offered--only a zero charge for the gasket. (It was reported that an associate had received a notice of the stripped plug from a previous service invoice at the Glendora store, which no one on my end could recall.) Bottom line: a routine oil change and tire rotation wound up with a tab of just under $700. Long time customer loyalty and expenditures were discounted, and when my associate responded to excessive charges and broken word with anger and outrage, he was banished from the premises. The labor charge was excessive! The anger perhaps over the top, but customer loyalty was sacrificed to the great God of daily revenue volume. At the least, the company could have granted a bit more credit on the labor charge to a loyal customer. read more

The new manager is great! He's extremely honest and does not try to rip you off. I had a diagnostic check done on my car and received some unfortunate results on the repairs that needed to be done. I think his name is Paul but he felt bad about my situation and decided to not charge me for the diagnostic check. Wow! I did not expect that. He even took me to the garage and showed me the parts that needed to be replaced so I didnt feel skeptical.
