I was washing my second truck when I realized that the tire pressure on the rear right was dangerously low. I filled it and started looking around, specifically, for a tire repair shot. I called and arrived and was tended to promptly; luckily it was slow when I went. It felt like they took off the tire and replaced it with the patch all within 5-10 minutes, I was actually pretty surprised at how fast they were - and it only costed $20. Service was alright. Called a day beforeI went in for a quote on a set of tires. They said new tires. When ai went in, they changed their story saying those are not new, used tires thats 40% condition for $300 including installation. I gave up hopping from shop to shop to find it and get tricked to go down for a different price. I find it interesting that these kind of tire stores always lie to you about the condition or the prices for you to go down and tell you a completely different thing. I showed up literally a couple minutes before closing with a nail in my tire -- something any real shop would treat as urgent. These dudes didn't even bother to speak. Just waved me off like I was interrupting their "rush to go home" routine. Imagine running a tire shop but acting allergic to actually helping people... with tires. Wild. Don't go there for wheel alignment. They don't have the latest machine probably old 80's. I had to go back there again to complain my car still pulling to the rt & ask if it was even done. I left to the bank, came back & it was done. It seemed to fast of a job. Different guy redid my alignment & said it was slightly off . Should of been done right the first time. They also SCAM you on the soda machine. I wanted a coke, but would not take my cash, I was hesitant about scanning my card, but it was a hot day. Nevertheless I used my card. When I got home I checked my account & low & behold that machine charged me $7.50 for 1 can of soda. Know wonder the employees where looking @ me. (Another sucker). read more

Just PSA you can have the same patch and tire pressure services on your tires done for free at American tire. Have been coming here for a while to do work on my car and it seems every time I'm in the lobby the receptionist there is always fighting and arguing with someone. The most recent visit on 05/07/2025 she was ringing up my total and started arguing with me that she had not charged me, even though I clearly showed her the charge both on my bank account and on the machine charge history. She even printed out a receipt of the charge and still wanted me to pay again, claiming she had "voided" the charge when I could clearly see her pushing the "cancel" button instead of the "void" button, when trying to explain to her the difference she insisted on being extremely rude and unprofessional. She insulted me despite knowing I'm a loyal customer of years It's really unfortunate that their mechanic is going to loose business on account to someone's bad attitude but I will never be returning to this shop. read more

Luckily I checked when the tire was manufactured and it was made over 10 years ago!!! The guy actually thought it was okay to sell me a "BRAND NEW TIRE" from 2014.. If I didn't do my due diligence and check that, he never would have informed me. Tires that old are not recommended to drive on!! I'd stay away from this place. read more

My son's truck needed 4 new tires, I called Costco, and a few other national brands to get prices, I had a flat fixed at this place before so decided to call, I was very pleasantly surprised that they quoted me the same tires at 25% less. I drove there and was in and out in less then 30 minutes, when you arrive and let them know what you want, two guys get jacks and start working and dismantling the wheels.....almost like a race car, very friendly and efficient. Purchased a full set of tires here. Around 800 bucks for a set of Pirellis. When we finished. The rep told me the tire had warranty. Come back if anything happened. Clear as day. Well lo and behold. I had a metal shard or something pierce my tire. I called and spoke to someone. Explained what happened. He told me to come in. And they will take care of it. I drive down back to location. Soon as I walk in the door. Before they even know anything someone lady who can't speak clean English already telling me there is a charge. Didn't even see the tire yet. I know it's a little hood spot. But I would at least think they would actually see what we were dealing with before trying to charge. So basically they say there is no warranty ever offered. Even though it's on the receipt. And their pos customer service is actually impressive. It's hard to act like your trying to be a thug while your wearing a kragen auto shirt. Anyways. If you're buying a set. And your paying more then 600. Go somewhere else. Make sure they check that warranty box. And save some cash. Went there for a front end alignment they bought Tire Barn in La Habra they can't do alignments there at that location so the owner said 120.00. I drove there and the old lady behind the counter said it would be 150.00. I said NO. and that the owner said 120.0. I called tire barn he talked with her. She changed the price to 120.0. I have been coming to Rene's ever since I move to nearby area. Rene is honest, nice and professional. They have wide range of tires and they fits any kind of budget. They don't pressure you to change more than you need to. They will inspect your tires and let you know which need to be replace. I need to change 2 front tire for one of our car and alignment for 2 cars. It was all done in about 1 hours and 15 minutes. They open 8:00am and lots of crew member to take care of you. If you pay cash they will wipe tax of your purchase off. I use to goto Costco for my tires but they don't have low profiles tires for sport cars. Once change my tires here I don't feel like to go anywhere else. I can have tire change in short periodic time. The only length one is the alignment. It was a Sunday morning when as I was gassing up for an outing, I discovered my tire was going flat. My immediate thought was the outing would be cancelled, due to my local tire shops being closed on Sundays. I put some air in the tire and began searching YELP for somewhere to get the repair done. It didn't take long to find Rene's. I called and the phone was answered by an informative and helpful person. I began my track toward the shop, stopping to put more air in the tire along the way. Once at Rene's I was immediately directed toward a spot to park for my tire repair. The employees came out asked which tire needed the repair and got right to it. Less than 30 minutes later I was already driving out of their lot. It may have been faster if there weren't so many others suffering from the same tire fate. Good job Rene's.
