So i took my car to get it aligned at this place and everything seemed cool. They did the rears without any problem, but then once the guy got up in the front (I'm on Coilovers) he was adjusting them and said there was a problem with my passenger side. He said that either the car had been in an accident or there's something wrong with the wheels or coils. He said there was nothing to be done and just left my cars alignment all messed up in the front. The car would pull to the left ALOT. and the guy still charged me full price for the crappy alignment job. I took my car to another place recommended by a friend and that place had no problem what so ever with fixing my alignment. Parked in the front, walked in to a DARK, DIRTY, CRAMPED, Receptionist area.. which was AGAIN-CRAMPED WITH DIRTY RIMS EVERYWHERE! I HAD TO walk to the back since no one was at the front-just to let someone know I was there.. then I had to drive my car around. they couldn't come to me.. I had to go to them... which tells u something about their customer service!.. Well- I Came here for an estimate, since they don't do over the phone estimates... WOW-What a rip off!!!! yes, the asian dude seemed like he knew his stuff BUT.. i never knew anyone that says Falken's are better than MICHELIN's....NEVER!! TILL now. that guy claims Falken's are much better than Michelin's-and that M's are OVERRATED, AND PRICY.. Pricy- yes! BUT Overrated? NO. On top of that, he didn't have any M's in stock so I would have to wait.. and HE didn't have any of the FALKEN'S in stock so I would have to wait.. AND- TO make things worse! he quoted me $150.00 per FALKEN tire. he tried to make it sound like a good deal by saying.. "it includes everything, installation and labor" BUT NO.. I am not stupid. I may not know a lot about cars, BUT I know that M's are the best! I had to triple check to make sure that the shop I visited was the same one everyone gave rave reviews for. I'm going on a road trip over the weekend, and I needed a wheel alignment before I left, so I started calling around for wheel alignment shops. I called TWS on Thursday morning and they said the rest of the day was booked, and that they can take me anytime tomorrow. The shop closes at 7pm, so I figured I'd swing by after work at 5pm, to which they said, "no problem!". They didn't request a name or phone number which I found peculiar for a reservation, but I didn't think much of it at the time. On Friday at 5:05pm, I walked into TWS. There was a guy standing behind the counter talking on the phone. So I'm waiting in the lounge for a few minutes, admiring the mess (which I expected from reading the reviews), and the guy on the phone was probably talking to a friend or coworker (definitely not a customer) about business and he kept dropping f-bombs everywhere. Okay, not the most professional way to talk in front of a customer, but no big deal. By the time he gets off the phone, it's probably been about 4-5 minutes, and during this entire time he had never signalled to me, "be with you in a minute" or even acknowledge my existence on this planet. After he gets off the phone, he doesn't even look at me, and walks to the back of the shop to talk to what seemed to be other coworkers. So now I'm standing alone in the lounge, still admiring the mess (it really is messy). I'm thinking, "he probably needs to discuss something really quick and will be right back." Well, another five minutes passes, and now I'm thinking, "oookkkaaayyyy". So I walk to the back of the shop where they're all talking and ask, "excuse me, can I get some help?". One of the guys working on the car (likely the owner), says, "yes?". Me: "I'm here for my 5:00 appointment". Owner: "I don't think we can get to it today." Then he explains that he's backed up on one particular car and tries to schedule me for another time. Now, I understand that auto shops' schedules get delayed. I understand the mess. But don't let sloppiness overflow into your customer service. Suggestions for TWS: - When you take a reservation, get their name and number. If you realize you're backed up and can't get to them, call and let them know. Don't make me waste my time driving to your shop, especially when I could've gotten my wheel alignment elsewhere had you notified me earlier. - I honestly don't know if that guy on the phone works for you. I hope not. If he doesn't work for you and he's a friend or something, explain to your friends that if there's a customer waiting in the lounge for 10 minutes, they should let you know. If he does, teach him some serious customer service skills. - Clean up your shop. (I really don't care about this one, but I just felt like I needed to give you three suggestions). Perhaps my experience was the exception. And honestly, since they did no actual work on my car, I can't speak for the quality of their workmanship, only the quality of their service. read more

I have been going to TWS since 2002 or so. I've had 8 Mercedes and 1 Lexus worked on there. I had springs and shocks installed, HID kit, bodykit painted and installed (albeit outsourced), big brake kits, exhaust work (again outsourced when it required welding), countless sets of wheels and tires. I've never had any issues, from the days of Sander and Pete to today with Albert and Mike. Top notch crew will always be number one in my book, and even if they don't always do all my work (because of schedule/location conflcts), they are always the first I hit up. You don't have to haggle to get a good deal, they take care of you right off the bat, whether it's your first time, or 20th time there. Came here to get my lowering springs installed and a wheel alignment. Installation & all work was completed fast and with no problems. A lot of people here seem to complain about how messy the shop is.. It's definitely true but from my experience it honestly doesn't mean jack sh*t. What was I thinking when I got to this place, I got this negative vibe that the service will be not great, I should have just walked away when I had the chance. Anyways, I went in this shop few months ago to get my car fender shave so I called and asked what time should I arrive and the guy said to come now. Upon my arrival, I check in and he tells me to wait an hour so I was like ok... Then when its finally my turn I thought I was gonna walk out of there in less than 30 minutes, but turns out at least an hour. Someone in a Mercedes shows up and helps him, says to me he'll be done in 5 minutes. BS service, too much lying and will prioritize someone who's a "friend" And still charges me full price! If I was the shop owner I'd tell that customer sorry for waiting and I'll give discount for making him or her wait. At least I get the last laugh, the person who he (Mercedes guy) was helping needed to replace something relating to fog lights, turns out it was the wrong size and right before I left the mechanic dropped fog housing and broke it HAHA karma got you! read more

I've been going to TWS since 2005, and in that time they've had slight changes in management but the crew and dedication has remained the same. I think it's important for people to know the basis behind the business to be understood. For those who don't know, that area is saturated with the automotive industry. TWS is one of the most trusted shops in the area, especially now that Vision over on Hacienda has shut down. They know what they're doing, they can get the job done right and they're honest... these are really important when it comes to working on vehicles that you've invested a good amount of time and money in. So TWS is busy not only with walk-in customers but I can also assume that a good majority of their customers are the local industry members and people who have heard via word-of-mouth. Their place is messy, they cuss like sailors and sometimes they have huge wait times and at times can be short staffed... that's what happens when you can only trust a few competent people to get the job done, you have a lot of things moving in and out and new projects that you have to deal with. It's not the "typical" shop.. but those who are comfortable in a garage environment... it doesn't get any better. In my eyes, they know what they're doing, they're honest and they don't try to kiss my ass or sell me something I don't know... and my street car and track car both handle pretty well. oh man, i was never the shopping cart, fart can exhaust honda rice rocket driver. i had some dignity for christ sakes. on a recommendation from a few people that knew their shit, i tried out tws. my buddies told me to give this guy sander a call down in socal and he will take care of everything. well god damn. without even a bit of haggling, bam bam bam, i got a set of rims for a damn fair price, shipped to my warehouse in no time flat. hes not in business to screw over every customer, rather, he wants everyone to get whats fair. he gets his fair margin, you dont get raped. i must say though, the second set of rims i ordered, there was a small glitch. i was missing something.... bam bam bam, fedexed to my work no problemo. sander might always be busy, running around, calling people, talking to reps, finding more sources, but man, when he gets to you, he makes sure youre set and your car looks good. he definately knows his shit. off the top of his head, he can tell you the cleanest looking sizes for your car..... w210? mmmmm whats number pads? konis you said? you wants 19" go ___________ i was like theres no way that can fit. trust me. well looky looky. sander was right. and yes the car looked NICE. only drawback, you need to find you own local source to install the rims (tires) and get them balanced and get an alignment, but hey, those are them breaks for looking nice i guess. now am i gonna revert five years to drop the w203 and get some nice wheels? ugg. read more

This place does not deserve their reviews. They told me in at 11 on friday to replace my shocks. When I did the place was a mess and no one was their and no light are on. I went to the back and no one was in the garage. I yelled out to see if anyone would come but no one did for 10 minutes. I seriously explored the place for like 10 minutes. I called them in front of their store and they told me yes they were open and they were inside "so busy". Hmm ya ok where at? They place did not seem at all trustworthy. This is the go-to place whenever I need to get an alignment, camber adjustment, tire change, and wheel repair. My car is really low and they still managed to get it up on the lift without hassling me to take it off. I usually drop off the car since it's close to work and pick it up after work and it's usually ready when I get there. They say the front office is messy but I usually just walk to the back and ask for help anyways. Call for a quote or just drop by and you'll find out that the prices are really good for the quality work they do. There isn't really a sitting area so you're left sitting or standing near a curb if you're not dropping off the car. One thing I have to note is the plaza is not lowered car friendly so be prepared to drive carefully going in and out of it. They also do other stuff so just ask if you need some other type of work done as well. I usually always tip them but this last time I didn't have exact change so he just charged me less to make it even and told me not to worry about it. I'm definitely going back for sure! WOW! I can't believe that you guys gave them 5 stars. I guess you were either very lucky...or are friends/family-members of these guys; and are putting up false reviews, which is quite obvious the way "joz joz j" lists all their services...looks more like an advertisement for the company than a review. This place was recommended to me so I called there to get rims for my brand new 2007 M6 convertible. I was dealing with a guy named Sanders. He suggested DCR Infineons (20") along with Michelin PS2's. I really liked the look of the rims, and they gave me what I thought was a good price. They told me that they were very high quality rims, so I gave them my credit card info over the phone and they ordered them. About a month later, they called me to let me know they came in, so I brought my car up there at 10 AM as requested to have them installed. I should have known by the looks of this place...total disorganization...dirty waiting area...crap all over the place...etc, that I was about to enter a total nightmare! They installed the wheels on my car (they told me 2 hours...it took more like 5) and I drove home with a buddy following me in his truck carrying my stock wheels/tires back to my house. Luckily he was behind me when my front driver's side tire went flat as I was exiting the freeway by my house. I limped the car to a gas station and filled it up with air to get it home. When I called TWS, they didn't answer (it was about 4 pm) and I kept calling but no luck. The next morning I was finally able to reach someone there about 11 AM. I told them what happened, and they told me to bring the car back and they would look at it. Luckily I still had the OEM rims, so I borrowed a jack, and changed the tire and put the bad one in my trunk and headed back up to TWS. When I got there, it was a total cluster F*ck. There were cars all over the place and they were trying to finish a bunch of jobs with 2 floor jacks. When they finally got to me, they took my wheel out of the trunk and told me they would have it sent out to be re-sealed and call me when it came back in. Don't they test these things before they send you on your way??? I guess not. About 4 days later I called them since I had not heard back from them, they told me the wheel was back and to come in so they could put the wheel back on my car. I did, and it got me home with no problems. About three days later, the OTHER front tire went flat. I was totally pissed, and told them I wanted my money back, but they said that they couldn't give me my money back, but would issue me a store credit minus a re-stocking fee. They also said they could re-seal ALL four wheels for free just to put my mind at ease. Back up to TWS I went (this is a 45 min trip each way for me) to get these re-sealed. 3 days later, they told me to come get the rims. I went up there and had to wait over 2 hours for them to even get to me. By the time they put the rims on the car, it was dark out. I drove home very cautiously fearing the worst. I made it home and the tires seemed to be holding air. A week went by, and I got another front flat tire. I decided to go to a local tire shop that I have used for over 12 years rather than trucking all the way back to TWS. When I got there, and the mechanic was looking at the wheel on my car, he pointed out a big dent/crease on one of the center spokes. It was not the kind of damage you could do my hitting a curb...it was on the face of the wheel...no where near the lips. We found the identical "pinch" type of crease on the other front wheel. He said that whoever mounted these tires must not have taken precautions when doing the job. He also informed me that they had sold me the wrong size tire and that my odometer and speedometer would be registering more miles than I was really driving. The tires they had installed were one size too small as far as the height of the sidewall was concerned. It started to make sense why all those radar-enabled speed limit signs always showed me going about 4 miles an hour slower than my speedometer was telling me. I told them to just leave everything as it was and that I would bring it back to TWS one last time. It was quite evident that this damage was done when TWS had removed the tires from the wheels. I called them to tell them, and they told me that because I didn't point it out to them before I left (out in the back parking lot...in the dark...where they installed them) that it could have been done by someone else. What a load of CRAP! There's a lot more to this story, but it won't fit here. I gave them one star because I didn't know how to give them NONE! If you care about your ride, don't bring it here. He claims to be a big shot in the field but really, he's stuck fixing 1980 Mercedes and doing nothing more than what a common mechanic does. He will try to sell you second-hand parts and rarely gives you a substantial discount. If he does, you better watch out because he prob aligned your car to wear the tires out quick as heck or sold you rims that have been put together by some dirty shop like his. Tread with caution and if you need to take your car here.... You shouldn't be tuning your car lol. They just recently got a alignment machine and were doing suspension installs without any real adjustment numbers. Plain and jane back alley business that is located well... In a back alley. When you first walk in the first thing you notice is how messy it is, but hey, it's a car shop. I've never had an issue with them at all. I've purchased tires, brakes, and various suspension components from them without a hitch. They've installed and balanced all my tires, they've installed the various suspension stuff, I've done alignment with them, etc. and I have no complaints. When Albert says he's going to get something for me it's usually at the shop when he says it will arrive. They've stayed past closing to help me install things before autox events that I needed installed, A+ service. Was in desperate need of an alignment, as my tires were very worn out on one side of the tires. Had to replace all 4 tires within a year. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give them a try, since they specialize in custom/lowered cars. Went there on a Saturday morning and I am glad I did as they are usually busy during the weekdays. Based on the reviews, I did notice their shop was not as fancy and clean as other places, but this is not important to me. I would rather go to someone who knows what they are doing, affordable, and does a good job than to take it somewhere fancy, over priced and not know what they are doing. Albert went above and beyond to make sure my front wheels were aligned. He spent more time on my car than he needed to. He also recommended that I get camber bolts because there was slight camber on the front drivers's side wheel. I can totally see the difference as it looked even and when I drove my car, it wasn't swerving to the right anymore. Glad I found this shop as the owner is a straight shooter and has great prices on wheel repair, tires, mounting, and alignment. I came in to get my wheels refinished (terrible damage) and was so pleased with the results that I ended up buying my tires, having them mounted and installed (along with a TPMS system) and then aligning the car here too. The owner takes good care of you and is true to his word. Its rare these days to find businesses that are honest and aren't out to just make a quick buck. I'm definitely using TWS for all my tire and wheel needs. To be perfectly clear, I am very particular about my BMWs and this shop is very good about handling your rims and car. The shop may be a bit messy, but don't let that fool you. They do great work and stand by their word. I would not hesitate to recommend friends and family to use their services and purchase tires here. Their prices and service can't be beat. Overall I rate my experience 10/10 compared to many shops I have used in the past. Let me leave you with one last example of how this shop takes care of their customers. I had purchased a TPMS system to be installed with my Hamann PG2s and new tires. I left everything with them and took off for lunch having forgotten to tell them to install the TPMS on the rims. I came back and 3 of the 4 rims and tires were mounted and ready to go. I realized my error and asked them if they could unmount the tires and install the TPMS and redo everything. Normally this is scoffed at and I would have gotten the, "too bad" from the shop people. But of course Albert was understanding and had all the tires unmounted and redone with the TPMS installed. This really sealed the deal for me as I happy that even though it was my mistake, they didn't complain and try to talk their way out fixing it for me. They didn't even charge me extra. Thats what I call good will and why I would not hesitate to bring my M5 or X5 back to this shop. Two thumbs up for TWS!!!! This is my first review on Yelp and no I am not affiliated or friends with anyone at this shop. I am only writing this review because I know first hand how hard it is to find a good tire shop that wont damage a custom wheel. My worst fear is going to a tire shop that use a tire machine with claws and metal bars. I am one who would drive the distance to get a tire mounted but wanted to see if there were any tire shops closer to my house. I myself am a BMW technician that is very anal about my cars but the shop I work at doesn't have the appropriate tire machine for the task. I believe the best reviews are from people that work in the same industry. With that said here's my experience... So I was looking for a tire shop in my local area that can dismount and mount a tire (305/25R20) on my show car that has a good tire machine. I was referred to TWS by some friends who had tire work done there and they have high end cars as well. My first impression of the shop was it's a hole in the wall shop. I was greeted by I think the owner, Albert, who was very friendly. Along with him was the tech (which I never caught his name) that performed the job who was also friendly. Don't know about anyone else but the first thing I look at when going to a shop is what kind of equipment they use, which most of the time tells you the quality of work performed. In this case they have two top of the line Hunter tire machines, one that is fully automatic/touch less, Hunter wheel balancer and a Hunter laser alignment machine with a in ground alignment rack for those lower cars. With high end machinery and friendly staff, I went ahead and had them replace my tire. Keeping a close eye from a distance the tech had no problems dismounting and mounting my tire. My wheel returned with no scratches or blemishes. Based on my personal experience, I would highly recommend TWS for your wheel/tire needs. My next review for TWS will be when they perform an alignment on my BMW M5, which I will give them a shot since I watched Albert perform an alignment on a BMW M coupe. Total time in and out at TWS for one custom wheel tire replacement: 20 minutes. read more

Several friends have referred us to Albert at the The Wheel Supply. I've probably gone to Albert at least 5 times for various things in the past few years, but most commonly for wheels. Albert is dependable, honest, and someone I would feel comfortable recommending anyone to. He has a good staff and everyone is very chill and every time I am here, it seems like he has a lot of very loyal, happy past cliental. I know that The Wheel Supply does fine on past client business but at the same time I hope that more people will discover this place and enjoy great service, honest and knowledgeable people, and very reasonable prices that there is no need to shop. read more
